As expected, she was sorted into Gryffindor House.
However, she didn't seem very happy, and glanced silently in the direction of the Slytherin table.
She forced a smile and sat down next to her older brothers.
After an unknown amount of time, the Sorting Ceremony finally came to an end.
After the banquet, the heads of each house led their students back to the common rooms in turn.
Gemma Farley looked utterly dejected.
There was a hint of sorrow in her eyes as she looked at Argus.
She announced it in a weak and listless voice.
"The election for the top freshman has officially begun."
"Challenger, step forward!"
As soon as she finished speaking, Astoria immediately stepped forward.

"A long time ago, I thought about handing over the top position to a Slytherin who could continue to defend the honor, in order to prepare for the future N.E.W.T. exams."
"Unfortunately, we have not been able to find a suitable candidate."
"But today, this person has appeared!"
"He is Argus Grindelwald!"
"In him, I saw the ambition and power that belonged to Slytherin!"
"Under his leadership, Slytherin will ascend to even greater heights!"
"I hereby declare that, effective today, Argus Grindelwald will succeed me as the new Head of Slytherin House!"
Gemma Farley seemed to radiate a holy light.
Her righteous words moved and impressed many wizards.
The chief executives almost rolled their eyes to the heavens.
