"I wonder if the images in the Mirror of Erised can appear even when one is unconscious."
"Never mind, let's give it a try first."
Argus dragged his weary body and dispelled the Protego Diabolica.
He beckoned Harry over and placed him in front of the Mirror of Erised.
He waited a moment, making sure the Harry in the mirror had time to put the Philosopher's Stone into his pocket, then reached into his pocket.
Just then, a blazing flame appeared in mid-air.
Fawkes' cry illuminated the entire secret chamber.
A white figure suddenly appeared.
"Good evening, Argus."
"It seems I'm still a step too late."
"Thank goodness you're safe and sound."
As Dumbledore spoke, his eyes fell on Argus's hand reaching into Harry's pocket.
Argus wasn't embarrassed at all; he casually took the Philosopher's Stone out of Harry's pocket and put it in his own pocket.
"I'm fine, but Harry might need to go see Madam Pomfrey."
Dumbledore seemed to tacitly agree to give the Philosopher's Stone to Argus, and said nothing about it.
Seeing Harry's face swollen like a pig's head, Argus couldn't help but twitch his lips.
He took out his wand and pointed it at Harry's face.
"Episkey!"
A white light shone, and Harry's face gradually returned to normal.
The moment Harry opened his eyes, he instinctively reached out and covered his head.
Dumbledore was speechless.
"Professor Dumbledore?"
Harry only dared to lower his arms after realizing he wasn't being thrown out like before.
The first thing he saw was Dumbledore standing to the side.
"Professor, just now..."
"It's alright." Dumbledore interrupted Harry's question, feigning remorse.
"In fact, if I hadn't left Hogwarts for London, none of this would have happened..."
"This is not your fault, Professor Dumbledore! No one would have imagined that Professor Quirrell would become Voldemort's henchman!"
As Harry continued to comfort Dumbledore, Argus couldn't help but purse his lips.
Silly child!
Since you arrived, not a single person has informed Dumbledore.
If he really didn't know about Quirrell, how could he have come back so quickly!
"Harry, can you tell me what just happened?"
"Of course, Professor!" Harry briefly recounted what had just happened, then looked at Dumbledore with a puzzled expression.
"Professor, I have a question for you!"
"What's the problem?" Dumbledore asked kindly, reaching out to smooth Harry's dirty wizard robes.
Why did all the magic Voldemort cast on me bounce back onto himself?
"That's because of your mother. She sacrificed herself for you. Such an act leaves a mark."
Harry instinctively touched his scar.
"No, no, no, this mark blends in with your skin."
What is that?
"Love, Harry, it's love!" Dumbledore patted Harry's head.
"Your mother sacrificed her life to protect you, which prevented Voldemort's plot from succeeding."
"To this day, this magic still protects your safety."
"This is something Voldemort will never understand; he doesn't understand the greatness of love!"
"Mother..."
Harry's eyes showed an unprecedented sadness.
Argus, however, sensed something unusual about it.
He wasn't like Harry, a new magic student who could be easily fooled by Dumbledore.
Both Grindelwald and Voldemort were masters of Dark Arts.
If he remembered correctly, the kind of magic Lily used, which came at the cost of bloodline and life, was a typical form of Dark Arts!
Even among curses, it belongs to the high-end category.
But how could a Muggle-born witch possibly use such advanced Dark Arts?
Did he learn it from Sirius Black? Or is it part of the Potter family's heritage?
While he was pondering, Dumbledore had already finished brainwashing Harry.
He exchanged a glance with Argus.
I won't ask you to retrieve the Philosopher's Stone, and you shouldn't sabotage me!
The two foxes, one big and one small, understood each other without saying a word.
"Harry, I'll take you and Argus to Madam Pomfrey for a proper check-up first."
Harry then remembered that Argus was also there.
Recalling his suspicions that Argus harbored ill intentions, and then thinking of the scene where Argus had just fought Voldemort to the death.
Argus was the first peer he made in the wizarding world!
They helped me more than once!
As a result, I was the one who kept doubting him! I didn't even give him a chance to explain!
A deep sense of regret filled his mind, causing him to subconsciously ignore the fact that Argus had used him as a human shield earlier.
He lowered his head and approached Argus.
"Argus, I'm sorry, I…I…"
"It's alright, it's all in the past!" Argus smiled and patted Harry on the shoulder.
The next second, a system notification popped up in his head.

Medical room.
Madam Pomfrey, with an unfriendly expression, handed a bottle of potion to Argus and Harry respectively.
Compared to Harry, Argus's injuries were more severe.
Harry was just badly hurt, but most of his injuries were superficial.
Argus was genuinely struck by several curses!
Even when Voldemort was extremely weak, the power of his spells was still unmatched by ordinary wizards.
He had been holding on by a thread, and his adrenaline was surging after his battle with Voldemort, so he didn't feel anything.
Now that he had relaxed, all the fatigue and pain in his body suddenly came rushing back.
He and Harry each took a hospital bed.
They fell into a deep sleep.
When he woke up it was already the afternoon of the next day, and the news of what happened last night had spread throughout Hogwarts.
Unlike the original story, the protagonist of this event is Argus instead of Harry.
Dumbledore had considered giving the honor to Harry, but Harry had already been knocked unconscious, and coupled with his guilt towards Argus, he wished he could exaggerate Argus's contribution to the heavens!
Countless young wizards sent their most sincere gifts and blessings.
Daphne, Draco, Pansy, and others stayed by Argus's bedside without leaving him for a moment!
"Argus, you're awake!"
Upon seeing Argus open his eyes, a group of people immediately gathered around him.
"Argus, how are you feeling? Are you alright?"
"I'm fine." Argus said, getting up while holding onto his pillow.
It must be said that Madam Pomfrey's medicine was indeed effective; after sleeping for a day and a night, his injuries had basically healed.
"It's good that you're alright."
Everyone breathed a sigh of relief and carried a large pile of gifts from the ground.
"These are all gifts from everyone. We hope you recover soon."
"Thank you all, and please thank everyone for me."
Having not drunk water for a long time made Argus's voice a little hoarse.
Harry, standing to the side, looked longingly at Argus, whose bedside was filled with gifts and blessings, and then looked at himself, feeling like crying.
"Where's that red-haired Weasley? You've gotten into such a big mess, and he hasn't even reacted?"
"Back when he had that accident, you stayed by his bedside every minute of the time!"
Draco truly cared for Harry, and seeing Harry's dejected state, he couldn't help but feel indignant on Harry's behalf.
"Oh, right! Ron!"
Harry seemed to suddenly remember something and jumped up.
Ignoring his own health, he ran frantically outside.
"I forgot, Ron fell off the trapdoor and broke his leg! He's still in the hole!"
"Quickly, go find the professor and save him!!"
