Chapter 50 - [50] Daily Prophet Spotlight! Straight to Snape's Lair!

After a full day of ceremonies, Argus returned to Hogwarts the same way he came.

As soon as he stepped into the school, a system notification sounded in his brain.

[Congratulations, host, on establishing a business conglomerate in Diagon Alley and achieving the accomplishment: The Beginning of a Business Tycoon]

[Achievement Points Reward: 100]

"Set sail? What I'm about to do is much more than just set sail!"

While Argus was thinking, he had already returned to the Slytherin common room.

"Argus, where have you been today? I haven't seen you all day!"

As soon as he entered, Draco came up to him and asked a question.

Argus was exhausted after a busy day at the ceremony.

He quickly replied with a few words and went back to his dorm to sleep.

The next day was Monday.

After a weekend, many young wizards were still recovering, and the Hogwarts Great Hall was filled with noisy chatter.

Countless owls flew in from the ceiling, bringing large quantities of newspapers to the young wizards and professors in the hall.

"Oh my god! Look at the Daily Prophet! This issue's cover looks like it features Argus!"

"What! Let me see!"

One sentence instantly attracted the attention of countless people.

For these newly enrolled young wizards, having their classmates featured in the most important newspaper in the wizarding world was undoubtedly a rare and shocking event.

"Oh, Merlin's beard! And next to Argus is Minister of Magic Fudge!"

"Behind him is the director of the Legal Enforcement Division, all big shots!"

"The newspaper also said that he opened dozens of shops in Diagon Alley in one go!"

According to the Daily Prophet, Argus was exceptionally talented, gifted, and possessed a remarkable temperament.

They used almost every good word they could think of to describe him!

"Dozens of shops, how many Galleons must they earn every day!"

"Let alone how much they earn, just having dozens of shops is something that ordinary people can't afford, not even the Sacred Twenty-Eight can!"

"A very important person has emerged from one of our classmates!"

Exclamations of surprise echoed from the crowd.

However, Argus, the protagonist of the incident, remained calm and showed no intention of showing off.

Ron, sitting at the Gryffindor table, was practically driven mad with jealousy.

The Minister of Magic Fudge in the photo, or other such figures, were people that even his father could not reach.

This scene only appeared in his dreams.

And now, it was actually happening to the person he hated the most!

How could he possibly accept this!

Harry noticed that his friend seemed a bit off, so he looked at Argus and then at Ron.

He didn't know how to comfort him.

They could only bury their heads in their food and pretend they didn't see it.

Draco's focus was different from others.

He pursed his lips in dissatisfaction with Argus.

"Argus, you sneaked out without telling me!"

"No wonder I couldn't find you all day yesterday, you were out having fun!"

"It's not like I'm going out to play, I'm exhausted after a long day."

Argus elegantly cut a piece of steak with his knife and fork and put it in his mouth.

Unaware that a dark shadow had already loomed over them from behind.

"Mr. Grindelwald, I think you should give your dean a reasonable explanation."

"If I remember correctly, I didn't approve your eligibility to leave school!"

Snape's sarcastic voice rang out, startling Argus so much that he almost choked on his steak.

Holy crap, he was wondering why he felt like he'd forgotten something!

So that's where it was!

"Professor, listen to my excuses! Professor Dumbledore knows I'm going to Diagon Alley!"

"What does it matter to me if he knows?"

"Or do you think your dean is so incompetent that he can't even determine whether you can take leave to go out?"

Snape's expression grew increasingly dangerous.

Argus wisely refrained from further argument.

"It seems Mr. Grindelwald has a lot of free time every day. In that case, from now on, come to my office after class every afternoon to work on potions for an hour."

"Starting today!"

He coldly tossed out a sentence, then turned and left!

The surrounding area fell silent, and some of the older students looked at Argus with pity.

It took quite a while before someone spoke.

The Weasley twins exchanged a glance, grinned, and went to the Slytherin table, plopping down next to him.

"How is it, my sir? Isn't what we gave you useful?"

"Of course! After we gave it to them, they dared to sneak out the very next day! Hehe!"

"I remember it took us a long time to figure out how to use it after we got it. We were already in our second year when we first sneaked out of Hogwarts!"

Argus quite enjoyed listening to the Weasley twins chat; he found it very interesting to talk to them.

"How are your new products coming along? My store is already open and they'll be available anytime."

"Don't worry, with the support of our benefactor's Galleons, it'll be quick!" Fred patted his chest and assured him.

"We're at Hogwarts now, not the Burrow. No mom will be out searching for our treasures!"

Argus thought for a moment and said, "I think you should have a good talk with Mrs. Molly."

"She's doing this for your own good. She doesn't allow you to play with these prank toys because she's worried you won't be able to support yourselves after graduation."

"With my shop as a guarantee, you may not become extremely wealthy, but at least you will be able to live a life free from worries about food and clothing."

The smiles on Fred and George's faces gradually faded, and their expressions became increasingly serious.

"Thank you, we will consider it."

Argus smiled and comforted the two, "Don't be so serious, it's just a suggestion. Everyone has different ideas. Mrs. Molly is a good mother. Communicate with her properly, and she will understand."

"By the way, I've finished reading the notes Percy gave me. I'll go to the lounge to get them later, and you can give them to him for me."

"Spare us!" The Weasley twins raised their hands high in surrender.

"Percy will definitely start lecturing us again, so you should hand it over to him yourself."

"He treats you pretty well!"

"Alright then." Argus shrugged helplessly.

"Professor Snape just asked me to go to his office to help him with some materials, why do you all look so scared?"

"Is it difficult to process potions?"

"It's not just difficult! Many of his potions are very complicated to process!"

Fred spoke, and George continued to add to it.

"And you have to put up with his constant scathing remarks and scolding! I remember a while ago, a little girl in Ravenclaw was just made to cry by him!"

"But you're the head of Slytherin, so he probably won't go too far. Don't worry too much."

After finishing their meal, the Weasley twins and Argus went to their respective classrooms.

After a day of classes, Argus knocked on Snape's door as requested.

"Come in!"
