Chapter 44 - Chapter 39

Next Morning — Great Hall

Keith and Rias walked into the Great Hall side-by-side, both glowing faintly with the warmth of last night's telepathic bonding.

Tonks immediately spotted them—her hair turning pink the moment Keith looked her way.

Keith smirked.

Keith: "Good morning, Princess Tonks."

Her face went red instantly.

Tonks: "K-Keith! D-Don't call me that in public!"

But her hair turned a deeper shade of rose, betraying her happiness.

Cedric laughed, Helena smiled softly, and Susan gently nudged Tonks with a teasing grin.

They all ate breakfast together, enjoying the morning atmosphere.

Defence Against the Dark Arts

Hufflepuff and Slytherin entered the DADA classroom next.

Professor Quirrell shuffled in with his usual stuttering nervousness.

Quirrell: "T-T-Today w-we w-will r-read… f-from chapter t-three…"

He opened the book and began reading word-for-word.

Keith lasted exactly fifteen seconds.

Then he laid his head on the desk…

…closed his eyes…

And slept.

Peacefully.

Adorably.

Like a baby dragon.

Girls React

Rias, Helena, and Susan were sitting at the same table. At first, they tried to listen to the lecture.

But then—

Keith's soft breathing.

His peaceful expression.

The slight smile on his lips.

They couldn't help it.

Helena leaned closer.

Susan peeked from the side.

Rias, smiling warmly, brushed a strand of hair from his face.

Behind them, Daphne and Cassandra from Slytherin were watching.

Daphne (whispering):

"He's… actually really cute when he sleeps."

Cassandra:

"I know, right? I didn't expect that."

The four girls stared like they had discovered a rare magical creature.

Meanwhile—

Draco Malfoy kept glancing between

Rias' red hair…

Helena's red hair…

And nearly tripped over his own cauldron.

History of Magic — The Sleep Squad

Next class: History of Magic with Ravenclaw.

Professor Binns floated in, monotone voice echoing across the room.

Binns:

"In the year of— zzz— seventeen— zzz—"

Even awake people felt sleepy listening to him.

Keith's head hit the desk.

Out.

Instantly.

Rias lasted two minutes.

Susan lasted one.

Helena lasted thirty seconds.

All three slowly leaned into Keith, forming a comfortable little cluster.

The only person in the entire group who remained awake…

Hermione Granger.

She took notes furiously, occasionally staring at Keith and the three girls asleep around him with disbelief.

Hermione (thinking):

"How… how are they sleeping so peacefully?! Class just started!"

Still, she continued writing, determined that someone had to actually learn something.
