Chapter 8 - Chapter 5

For the next full year, Keith's life settled into an unusual but strangely harmonious rhythm.

Each morning began with training. Under the guidance of Great Sage, Keith refined his control over the Ope Ope no Mi, learning delicate medical operations, spatial manipulation, and even developing new techniques that went beyond the original fruit's capabilities. Whenever he switched from fruit practice to Yamato, Great Sage automatically analyzed Vergil's swordsmanship style and merged it with the elite Runcandel sword arts, creating a seamless, deadly hybrid style.

Luna often joined him.

Sometimes she trained with her own sword, other times—when she felt playful—she would snatch Yamato from Keith's hand and try a few swings herself. Great Sage always warned Keith to supervise her, but Luna insisted she could handle it, and Keith could never refuse her enthusiasm.

Her progress became even more terrifying after Keith gave her the Hie Hie no Mi.

Luna had eaten the ice fruit without hesitation. The moment the cold power settled into her body, Keith nearly panicked and tried to check her condition, but Luna simply laughed, conjuring a perfect crystal rose out of thin air.

From that moment, her training accelerated.

With Keith's detailed descriptions of One Piece techniques and Great Sage's analytical notes, Luna developed:

Ice-infused sword strikes Cryokinetic barriers Blizzard mobility techniques Cold-forged blade projections

Her combat talent became monstrous—efficiency enhanced by her fierce determination never to be helpless again.

Meanwhile, the mundane side of their lives flourished just as dramatically.

The set of investments Keith had planned with future knowledge—stock purchases, company acquisitions, divestments—were all flawlessly executed by the butler and financial team. After one year, their muggle-world assets had expanded into massive multinational holdings. From the wizarding side, Keith's sign-in rewards frequently included:

Shares of major muggle corporations Large sums of dollars and pounds More galleons than Gringotts vaults usually see Three mansions scattered across magical and non-magical regions Vergil's Swordsmanship Skill

Keith absorbed business, finance, cooking, and medical knowledge at inhuman speed with Great Sage's assistance. Every book he bought was instantly converted into mastery.

Luna often teased him for being a "walking encyclopedia," but she relied heavily on his newly gained medical skills, especially when her ice abilities caused occasional strain during early training.

Despite all the power and wealth, their relationship remained the center of their world.

Luna stayed glued to Keith whenever she wasn't training—curling beside him while he read, resting her head on his shoulder during planning sessions, and occasionally dragging him outside for walks just to enjoy the day.

Keith grew used to her presence, comforted by it.

Luna grew stronger, happier, more secure—protected and cherished.

By the end of the year, the two of them were no longer just heirs of the Lovegood line.

They were becoming a force—one that the Wizarding World had no idea was awakening right under its nose.
