Chapter 127 - 126. Scorpio shoots! Double evil!

Chapter 126: Scorpio Shoots! Double Evil!

On the church, a rain of starlight arrows tore through the night sky, descending sharply from above with a piercing whoosh!

Mordred, charging headfirst, was intercepted by the arrow rain. She impatiently waved her Royal Sword, sweeping away the incoming light arrows one after another.

Her obstructed movements made her click her tongue. She immediately took off her bothersome helmet, letting her brilliant golden hair whip wildly in the wind.

The next moment, a surging crimson lightning magical energy exploded. She transformed into a red cannonball, launching an extremely brutal charge!

Chiron had no time to be surprised by the beautiful face beneath the enemy's helmet. He shot arrow after arrow, sealing off her charge route!

Unexpectedly, Mordred, with her magical energy fully unleashed, only attacked and did not defend. The scattered crimson lightning alone was enough to shatter the arrows along her path.

She violently stomped on the church's outer wall, and in a flash, had already reached Chiron's front.

Mordred glared at the Black Faction Archer, who carried nothing but a longbow, not even a close-combat dagger, and a disdainful, wild laugh spread across her lips.

"Get out of here, you third-rate Archer!"

Chiron did not show the slightest panic because of Mordred's fierce charge. He calmly nocked an arrow, his tone tranquil.

"Please."

This inexplicable sentence, however, was like a poisonous needle, instantly piercing through Mordred's surging fighting spirit, making alarm bells ring in her heart!

She didn't have time to think, retreating violently without a moment's pause!

The next instant, a metal warhammer, imbued with immense force, heavily struck her previous position, stirring up chaotic blue and white electrical arcs that instantly collapsed the church spire!

At the same time, an arrow entwined with starlight pierced into her silver armor at a tricky angle, embedding itself deeply into her flesh, and excruciating pain coursed through her entire body!

Mordred fell heavily to the ground, gritting her teeth and pulling out the arrow from her shoulder, hot blood splattering with it!

She looked up at the enemies who had also jumped to the ground after losing their footing.

Chiron, nocking an arrow; Fiore, moving with a magical exoskeleton; Frankenstein, wielding a metal warhammer; Caules, with glowing magical formulas in his palm.

Two pairs of Masters and Servants!?

Realizing she had stepped into a carefully laid trap, Mordred laughed in extreme anger, and crimson killing intent erupted from within her body.

She raised her sword, pointing it at the Yggdmillennia members, who were arrayed in a battle formation, and said coldly.

"Don't think that having one more defeated subordinate will allow you to defeat me, Archer. Today, you are dead!"

Before her words finished, the bricks beneath Mordred's feet shattered, and her figure surged forward like a ghost!

Frankenstein dragged her warhammer, meeting the charge head-on with a ferocious stance completely at odds with her slender physique!

Caules, aware of the difference in close-combat performance between the two sides, dared not be negligent in the slightest. He immediately raised his palm and used the second Command Spell.

Frankenstein, empowered by the magical energy crystal, let out an inhuman wail. Her electrical energy surged, like an overloaded explosive warhead, and she swung her warhammer to meet the attack with a heavy blow!

The two immensely powerful magical energies collided, stirring up a storm and crimson lightning. The surrounding ground, merely grazed by the aftermath, completely shattered, sending debris flying!

Fiore shielded Caules, squinting at the center of the battlefield, which was still stirring up layers of dust, her voice hesitant.

"This is… too absurd… How can she fight a Servant empowered by a Command Spell for so long?"

Unlike the Yggdmillennia siblings, who were merely mortal, Chiron, who was constantly searching for a fatal opportunity, spoke in a grave, deep voice.

"You are mistaken, Master. The Red Faction's Saber is still suppressing the Berserker."

"What!?"

Fiore cried out in surprise, while Caules clenched his fists, his gaze becoming increasingly conflicted as he looked at the last Command Spell on the back of his hand.

"What is going on with this Master and Servant pair! Each one is more outrageous than the last!"

Saying this, Caules looked at Fiore, who also had an unpleasant expression, and urgently suggested.

"Sister, let's retreat!"

"The Assassin is clearly no match for the Red Faction's Master. If we don't leave quickly, even we will…"

The expression on Fiore's pretty face changed repeatedly. Suddenly, another violent shockwave swept over, startling her back to reality.

"Archer." She made up her mind, her voice trembling yet firm, "If I use a Command Spell to empower you, and you and the Berserker unleash your Noble Phantasms together, do you have confidence in defeating the Red Faction's Saber?"

Chiron pondered for a moment, but ultimately shook his head bitterly.

"The success rate is less than thirty percent. After all, the opponent's Master still holds unused Command Spells."

"Hmm, a wise judgment."

Amidst the ceaseless shockwaves, a clear, cold male voice rolled in, making the three Yggdmillennia members turn back in alarm.

The dust dispersed, and Arthur stood tall at the edge of the church ruins, still holding Jack the Ripper, whose chest was continuously spewing magical energy particles.

Chiron's pupils suddenly contracted. With just one glance, he determined that the Assassin's Spiritual Core was already shattered and she was about to withdraw.

Arthur looked down at the three highly vigilant Yggdmillennia members, smiling lightly as he waved at Chiron, whom he had met once before.

"We meet again, Archer. Since you dare to attack me once more, I presume you have made the necessary preparations."

A bone-chilling coldness swept across the entire scene. Fiore, understanding how terrifying the enemy's speed was, suddenly clenched her fists and cried out in alarm.

"Command Spell! Noble Phantasm Unleash!"

In an instant, no magical energy storage, no incantation, not even the Servant nocking an arrow was needed.

The Sagittarius, suspended in the sky, its bowstring perpetually drawn, its stars flickering in the cosmic space, plummeted at extreme speed!

Antares Snipe!

That torrent of light pierced directly towards Arthur, its momentum like a brilliant meteor streaking across the sky—brief, dazzling, and fatal!

Puff!

A dull, muffled collision sound reverberated. The stellar torrent, descending from the heavens, shattered into pieces an inch before touching its target!

A golden halo enveloped Arthur, and layers of brilliant golden crystals appeared out of thin air, constructing an impregnable absolute defense that transformed the divine sniper's attack into harmless light Crumbs.

Arthur looked up at Sagittarius, still flickering in the sky, a hint of understanding flashing across his face, then turned to look at Chiron, who was protecting the Yggdmillennia siblings.

"Archery of the divine realm, the calm and collected composure in the face of death, plus that Noble Phantasm descending from the stars just now—"

"A pleasure to meet you, centaur sage of Greek mythology, Chiron."

As his true name was revealed, Chiron silently dispersed his longbow, adopted a boxing stance, and assumed an ancient and rhythmic posture of Fight back.

Arthur observed Chiron, who had not given up resistance, with interest. He made a grasping motion with his right hand, and the Holy Sword appeared, wreathed in golden fragments.

"This is Pankration, isn't it? Reputed to be the oldest mixed martial art in the world. In that case—I'll take you on."

Bang!

Arthur violently shattered the ground, his figure like lightning, streaking through the air and thrusting his sword forward!

Chiron, no longer underestimating his enemy, surged forward, his fiercely thrown fist cutting through the air, instantly hammering towards the vital areas of the chest and abdomen!

Crack!

Flesh and blood violently collided with the blade. A crisp sound of bones breaking came, and fragments splattered!

Arthur coldly watched Chiron, whose left hand bones were completely shattered and a bloody mess, his foot movements ceaseless, suddenly accelerating!

Several afterimages appeared simultaneously, each carrying the might of wind, fire, thunder, and rock, launching a fatal cross-slash from four directions!

"Ooooh—!"

The usually calm sage let out an inarticulate, off-key scream. He disregarded the incoming slashes, spinning and moving his limbs, transforming into a deadly weapon!

This was his final, and most tragic, counterattack!

Gale winds severed his right arm, raging flames scorched his left knee, and lightning tore through his chest!

Only his right foot, exerting all its strength, broke through the rock barrier, leaving a shallow mark on Arthur's magical outfit.

Arthur looked down at Chiron, who was covered in wounds and whose heart and Spiritual Core were shattered, and nodded slightly.

"Farewell, sage. What happens next has nothing to do with you."

As if in response to his pronouncement, streaks of crimson blood rapidly climbed all over Chiron's body!

His original bronze skin was tainted by ominous black marks, and tyrannical magical energy surged from within him!

Fiore, directly linked to the Servant, instantly collapsed in pain. The Command Spells on the back of her hand transformed into viscous black liquid, multiplying and devouring her entire body like hungry leeches!

Coincidentally, Caules, who had intended to go and check on his sister, also clutched the back of his hand and wailed as he fell to the ground!

Black liquid of the same origin surged out from his Command Spells, wildly extracting everything from its host!

Amidst the dust, a small figure rose again, transforming into a pitch-black mad beast, letting out an unconscious roar towards the sky!

Before the ruins, the sage's body, which should have dissipated, was also reshaped by evil, becoming a dark ink archer with lifeless eyes, growling grimly.
