Chapter 28 - Abyss (2)

Primodius vanished from Rakasiel's dead body and reappeared before Raziel, kneeling without hesitation.

"Master, I have done it," Primodius said. He had learned language from both Rakasiel and Raziel. His memories remained intact—every fragment of experience still lived within him—but his loyalty had shifted completely. Rakasiel no longer existed in his world. Only Raziel did.

"Good," Raziel replied, placing a hand upon Primodius's head.

Primodius liked that.

He was barely fifteen seconds old—still closer to an infant than a being of consequence—instinctively craving acknowledgement from his Creator.

Primodius smiled, even though he had no mouth, no lips. The expression existed nonetheless.

"Stand," Raziel commanded.

Primodius obeyed immediately.

Raziel walked past him, stopping before the fallen form of Rakasiel. In truth, Lonear had once been immeasurably weaker than Rakasiel—but the moment Lonear became an Agent, Rakasiel's existence was reduced to that of an insect. Something meant only to be crushed.

"Rise," Raziel said.

At once, another presence materialised.

A golden humanoid—yet not truly humanoid—awoke and stood upon two feet. It possessed six horns and six wings, mirroring Esau's form, though Esau bore twelve and had no horns. This being was gold given shape, and yet its body was formless, its presence everywhere and nowhere at once. Its very existence fractured reality, creating fissures and transient glitches throughout the realm.

The being knelt.

It could not speak. Not yet.

This was the Third Born. Unlike the First and the Second, it would have to earn its right to voice and will.

Even so, Raziel bestowed upon it a name.

"Your name shall be Ciel," Raziel declared."You shall be the intelligent one—and the strong one."

The being bowed deeply, kowtowing in absolute reverence. Though it could not respond with words, its submission spoke clearly enough.

"Good," Raziel whispered.

Seeing this, Primodius sprang toward Ciel and wrapped him in a tight embrace. Ciel returned it without hesitation—two newborn existences reuniting like old friends who had never truly been apart.

For a fleeting moment, even Raziel and Esau nearly shed a tear.

Then Raziel paused.

He extended his hand toward the throne, presenting it as one would present destiny itself.

"Esau," he said calmly, "here is your throne."

Esau smiled and walked forward—unhurried, composed, yet brimming with pride.

He placed his hand upon the throne.

The golden-red seat was etched with runes that existed before worlds were conceived, screaming with knowledge older than causality itself.

A window manifested before his eyes.

[Would you like to become the ruler of this realm?]

"Yes," Esau answered instantly.

Light consumed him.

His golden hair blazed brighter than the stars of the realm—brighter than suns, moons, reflections, and even the void that birthed light itself.

His eyes—once an icy void-blue—became the embodiment of contrast. Depth without end. Brightness that devoured itself. Ice and fire, elements once wielded, now etched permanently into his gaze, inseparable from his being.

His twelve formless wings multiplied into hundreds—no, thousands. From afar, they appeared as one. Up close, each wing reflected past and future, primal truth and finality, life and death—the very symbols carved beneath the tower.

His height rose from seven feet to twelve. Broad. Imposing. As though his shadow alone could eclipse metaverses and drown them in darkness.

The armour forged by the hands of Creation changed.

It was no longer something made.

Creation itself fused with Esau, forming his armour—not an embodiment, but a union. As though Creation had chosen him as its vessel.

Esau was no longer bound by the Tower.

Gods ruled floors within it, granted authority once conditions were met. Omegas stood higher still, ruling through their own will and experience.

But Alphas?

No.

Absolutely not.

Alphas were not bound by the Tower.

The Tower was bound by them.

Esau and Raziel climbed the Absolute Tower of Outer Realities for one reason alone—

because it amused them.

Gods drew power from faith—prayers, blessings, temples.

Omegas drew power from themselves—their will, their authority, their singular experiences. No two Omegas could ever share the same authority.

But an Alpha was something else entirely.

They ruled over thousands of concepts, infinities, and elements. They were beings before whom Omegas trembled, Gods ceased to exist, and mortals—

were simply erased.

Life and death held no jurisdiction over them. Immortality and regeneration were meaningless concepts.

Only the self mattered.

Only being.

Esau was beyond the Tower.

Even his father—an Omega—operated within it.

Esau did not.

The Realm of the Divine Demons trembled.

Stars vanished. Reflections collapsed. Infinite structures ceased to exist as the realm struggled to recalibrate around its new—yet eternal—ruler.

Shops disappeared—palaces, castles, demons, mansions, roads—gone.

Waters evaporated. The sky unravelled. The throne room itself ceased to be.

Reality stripped itself bare.

The light surrounding Esau dimmed.

[You have become an ALPHA]

[The King of all ALPHAS]

[Every Alpha shall bow. Every Omega shall tremble and despair. Every God must cease to exist in your gaze.]

[Would you like to name this realm?]

"Yes. Its name shall be Dominion," Esau declared.

[This realm has been registered.]

[Realms: Dominion, Floor1]

Raziel observed quietly, a trace of satisfaction in his expression. I was right to choose him, he thought.

Esau walked calmly toward them and knelt.

"It is all thanks to you, Great One," he said, his voice booming across the very fabric of the realm. Though he bowed, he was nearly half the height of Raziel, who stood seven feet tall.

"Stand up, Esau. It is all right. You are bound to me. I will help you achieve your goals, your revenge," Raziel said.

The realm had transformed. Only Raziel, Primodius, Esau, and Ciel remained.

Then the space folded, and they returned to the Sandbox. Arkoth stood there, having finished his battle and devoured his enemies like ants. He welcomed them back. Spotting his brothers—Primodius and Ciel—they ran to each other and embraced.

After a moment, Raziel spoke.

"Now, it is time for the plans to begin."
