"Yo, Kakuzu-san, where's your partner?"
The aloe-like Zetsu was the first to break the silence, knowingly pointing to the empty Demonic Statue fingertip to Kakuzu's right.
Kakuzu twisted his neck and said lightly: "Something happened. I accidentally killed him in passing."
Seiya glanced at him. The one who kills his partners, the guy with five hearts.
Kisame sneered: "Kakuzu, I can't even count how many times you've 'accidentally' done that."
"Incompetent people. Killing them is no big deal."
Kakuzu had no intention of dwelling on the topic.
He turned to look at Seiya, who was separated from him by one fingertip, and said with emotion:
"Since Orochimaru betrayed the organization, this position has been empty. Today, a newcomer has popped up, and he's wearing a mask. What an insincere fellow."
Everyone's attention was immediately drawn to Seiya.
Uchiha Itachi's eyes narrowed slightly, vaguely finding the figure familiar.
Zetsu smiled: "Congratulations, Leader, congratulations, Angel-sama, for recruiting another newcomer. This must be Seiya, who was mentioned in the last gathering but hadn't confirmed his joining yet!"
"That's right," Konan nodded in agreement. "Let's welcome Seiya as a member of Akatsuki!"
Having said that, she started clapping.
Pain and the others followed suit, clapping one after another.
"Thank you, everyone," Seiya nodded slightly and bowed politely.
"He sounds very young!" Sasori said coldly.
Zetsu laughed: "Talented young people are emerging in the Shinobi world. Our newcomer is less than fourteen years old! About the same age as Itachi when he joined the organization!"
Kakuzu pondered: "I remember Itachi mentioning before that Seiya's ability is to reverse reality and that no one can harm him, correct?"
Uchiha Itachi glanced at him and nodded slowly.
Kakuzu smiled slightly: "Leader, my partner is gone. How about letting this newcomer be my partner? His ability is excellent, and I won't accidentally kill my partner again."
Pain said: "Your partner has already been selected by the organization. He is also immortal. As for Seiya, he will be Konan's partner."
"What a pity. I was hoping to test the newcomer's ability!" Kakuzu said regretfully.

Seiya scoffed lightly and said calmly: "That is absolutely impossible. After all, I no longer have a clan to massacre."
Hearing this, Sasori chuckled a few times.
Zetsu and Kakuzu burst into loud laughter.
Kisame also laughed without a hint of politeness.
Uchiha Itachi's eyes flickered, but his expression remained unchanged.
Pain cleared his throat and announced: "The organization has found a Shinobi in the Yugakure in the Land of Rivers, named Hidan. He is genuinely immortal and is suitable to be Kakuzu's partner."
"This member recruitment will be handled by Seiya, Konan, and Kakuzu. Zetsu will provide relevant intelligence at all times to determine Hidan's location."
"This must be completed within three months, no delays."
Kakuzu immediately replied: "Yes, Leader."
Seiya followed suit: "Yes, Leader."
Konan instructed: "Seiya, don't rush to leave. Wait for me to come to the Land of Lightning to pick you up."
Seiya was slightly taken aback, "Ah? That's not necessary, is it?"
Konan said firmly: "Listen to your Nee-san."
"Oh."
Seiya readily complied.
It was also nice to wait for Konan-neesan to come to the Land of Lightning; he could spend more time with his mother.
The others were secretly surprised.
The Angel's attitude toward Seiya was not like that toward a newcomer.
Could this be a person with connections?
But Amegakure and Kumogakure are on opposite sides of the Shinobi world.
They have nothing to do with each other.

Zetsu had originally planned to chat about the organization having three immortals, but now his heart was full of suspicion, and he lost the desire to speak.

"There are two main possibilities now. One is that Seiya's reversal of reality is not due to Izanagi but is a genuine ability, which earned him the Leader's favor. The second is that the effect of Izanagi has worn off, but Seiya has a deep relationship with the Angel, escaped death, and smoothly joined the organization."
"It's likely the second possibility," Kisame mused.
"The Angel is clearly treating that kid unusually. She's usually taciturn during online gatherings, but this time she even called for applause to welcome him. I certainly didn't get that treatment when I joined, did you, Itachi-san?"
"No," Uchiha Itachi said.
"Exactly!" Kisame was more certain of his guess and added:
"Not only that, for a small mission this time, the Angel is actually going to pick up that kid. The Land of Lightning to the Land of Rivers is much closer than the Land of Rain to the Land of Rivers. Yet, the Angel is going out of her way to pick him up and even calls him 'Seiya.' It's unusually affectionate."
"If that kid didn't have the Sharingan, I'd suspect he was the Angel's long-lost son!"
"It's not far from being a son," Uchiha Itachi's eyes flickered.
"The Angel and Seiya must have a very deep history, perhaps even having kept him close. This suggests Seiya does not possess the ability to reverse reality, otherwise, the Angel wouldn't need to be so protective of him."
Kisame raised an eyebrow and grinned:
"Itachi-san, even if Seiya has no ability, you can't kill him anymore. You can't go against the Angel, can you?"
Uchiha Itachi nodded and said calmly: "I cannot take action, but that doesn't mean others can't."
Kisame thought for a moment and said: "Are you going to notify Danzo Shimura? That old man is the Darkness of the Shinobi World. He won't act easily!"
Uchiha Itachi's eyes were deep, and he was confident.
"Everyone has a weakness. Danzo cannot refuse the temptation to 'kidnap Seiya and threaten Uchiha Megumi to hand over her eyes.'"
Kisame chuckled and praised: "What a great strategy to drive a tiger to swallow a wolf!"
