Chapter 414 - Chapter 415: Samantha and Her Son, the Disgusting Frank

The Gallagher House.

Carl went to play at the shooting range, Ian went to work, and Fiona was sleeping in her rented house. Debbie had already pushed Frank out. Only Lip and Liam were left in this dilapidated house.

Lip lit a cigarette, hesitated for a moment, then took out his phone and called Karen.

Karen was eating and drinking with Jody at the shooting range, having a great time.

Seeing Lip's call, Karen sent Jody away with a very natural tone and answered the phone.

"Karen," Lip spoke first. "Is it convenient to meet and talk?"

"Didn't we talk yesterday? What else is there to talk about?" Karen asked with a smile.

"I think we should communicate more about this..." Lip exhaled a puff of smoke and said peacefully, "Although the decision is entirely yours and I have no right to intervene, what's in your belly is still our child after all..."

Honestly speaking, it was indeed not easy for Lip to speak so calmly about this matter; he had changed quite a bit.

Karen clearly sensed this change. She thought for a moment, then glanced at Dexter, who was busy in the distance. "What you said makes sense. If you want to talk, I'm at Dex Shooting Range."

Lip didn't want to go to the shooting range, that was true, but now the situation had changed.

"Okay," Lip agreed crisply. "I'll be there in a bit."

Karen didn't say more and hung up directly.

At the Gallagher house, Lip was anxious. He immediately picked up Liam, ready to take him to Fiona.

Just then.

Thump, thump, thump~~

A knock on the door sounded. Mandy had arrived.

"Door's unlocked," Lip replied directly.

Mandy pushed the door open and walked in. Seeing Lip, she immediately smiled at him.

Seeing Mandy, to be honest, Lip felt a slight headache.

The fact was, Lip had realized Mandy was very clingy before going to the juvenile detention center... Now, Mandy running over suddenly without calling or texting beforehand made her seem even more clingy...

To exaggerate slightly, Lip felt a physiological aversion to this clinginess.

"You didn't go play?" His brow twitched slightly. Lip hesitated for a moment and asked.

Mandy shook her head and responded with a smile. "I guessed you probably wouldn't go, so I thought I'd come keep you company."

Look, how considerate.

Unfortunately, it was for the wrong person.

"Actually, I was just about to go over there. I just called Karen. She's playing at that shooting range. I have to go talk to her about the baby," Lip explained patiently.

"Let me go with you, okay? Maybe after you finish talking, we can find a place to have some fun." Regarding how to show her love for Lip, Mandy didn't know much. She only knew two things: one was to consider Lip as much as possible, and the other was to fxxk.

Lip pondered for a moment. Considering that if he refused, it would probably be difficult to fxxk Mandy again later, he said, "Okay, but after we get there, don't contact Karen. Otherwise, it will probably be harder for me to talk to her."

"Okay," Mandy was delighted.

Lip squeezed out a small smile. "I have to take Liam to Fiona for care."

As the words left his mouth, Lip picked up Liam and left.

Mandy was really clingy and followed nimbly.

Lip sighed silently, his headache worsening a bit.

Before long, the two left the Gallagher house.

Lip didn't want to see Jimmy, so he immediately called Fiona and asked her to come out and pick up Liam.

It took several calls before Fiona, who was sleeping comfortably, woke up and answered.

A few minutes later.

Fiona came out with messy hair and saw Lip holding Liam, as well as Mandy, at a glance.

Her gaze landed on Mandy. Because she really looked down on Mandy, Fiona's expression changed, becoming a bit complicated.

After looking for a couple more seconds, Fiona reached out to take Liam, then couldn't help but ask, "You're with her again?"

These words and this tone, plus saying it basically right in front of Mandy... it was truly offensive enough.

Coincidentally, Mandy, who also disliked Fiona, heard this and instantly changed her face, throwing a cold glare at Fiona.

Fiona noticed and glared back.

"I have things to do, gotta go," Lip wasn't blind. Of course, he saw the reaction between Fiona and Mandy. His headache worsened further. Throwing down this sentence, he hurried away.

A few minutes later.

Lip and Mandy walked toward the shooting range.

---

The August sun was scorching, making the entire city of Chicago feel like a furnace.

Frank sat in a wheelchair, sweating profusely from the heat, but he didn't care at all. He just stared intently at Samantha, who was hanging clothes outside a dilapidated RV to his front-right. At the same time, his mind raced, thinking about the best way to bamboozle Samantha.

Frank believed that if he just went over and introduced himself, it would be absolutely impossible to trick Samantha into donating a liver.

Debbie stood beside Frank, naturally looking at Samantha too. Her small face and eyes were full of curiosity. "That's Samantha? She looks... she's practically a female version of you."

Hearing this, Frank paused his thoughts and smiled smugly. "Of course. She is my eldest daughter. It's normal for her to look like me."

"So what do we do now?" Debbie asked in a low voice, clear excitement in her tone.

"We can't just go over and tell her I'm her father." Debbie was a kid with many questions who liked to ask about everything and get to the bottom of things. Frank disliked this very much. Unfortunately, Debbie was his only reliance now, so Frank had to explain patiently.

"I have to use my charm to win her favor first," Frank said.

Debbie nodded, agreeing.

At this time, Samantha's intellectually disabled son, Chuckie, walked out of the RV. With a goofy look on his chubby face, he shouted to Samantha, "Mom, I'm hungry."

"Oh, baby, wait a few more minutes. I'll take you to get fried chicken right away," Samantha immediately said dotingly.

Chuckie nodded repeatedly.

Seeing this scene, Frank's eyes lit up, and he had a good idea.

The fact that Chuckie was intellectually disabled was really easy to spot.

Frank saw it and decided to make good use of it. He smiled and said to Debbie, "Debbie, I have a good idea. See that kid named Chuckie?"

"He is your nephew, and he's intellectually disabled."

"Later, we'll follow the two of them. Then, you listen to my command and find a chance to talk to Chuckie."

"Such an intellectually disabled little boy definitely has no friends, let alone a good-looking friend like you."

"As long as you become friends with Chuckie, I can naturally unleash my charm on Samantha."

"By the way, remember, absolutely do not tell them our relationship to them."

After listening.

Debbie couldn't help but hesitate a little, feeling that using an intellectually disabled child like this wasn't very good. But thinking that if Samantha couldn't donate a liver to Frank, Frank would die in not many days...

Debbie couldn't accept Frank dying. She steeled her heart and nodded in agreement. "Okay."

Frank grinned, feeling he was simply too smart.

About a quarter of an hour later.

Debbie pushed Frank, following Samantha and her son to the outside of a restaurant.

"By the way, Debbie, do you have money?" Frank's pockets were cleaner than his face; not a penny.

Debbie did have money, not much, but enough for a meal of fried chicken.

Debbie took out the money and counted it.

"Very good," Frank knew it was enough and smiled. "Let's go."

Debbie pushed Frank and followed into the restaurant.

The plan proceeded very smoothly.

Thanks to Frank's wit and glib tongue, as well as Samantha's stupidity, without much effort, Frank and Debbie were sitting at a table with Samantha and her son.

Frank had already brought out his exquisite acting skills, chatting with Samantha very gentlemanly.

Samantha was amused by Frank and kept laughing.

Looking at Frank behaving like this, Debbie was truly a bit stunned. It was hard to connect this Frank with the old Frank.

Facts proved Frank was right. Chuckie, who had no friends, was incredibly attentive upon meeting Debbie, constantly finding things to say to her.

Debbie had a headache, but for Frank's sake, she had to endure, responding to Chuckie from time to time.

Just like this, in this very ordinary, common restaurant.

A very disgusting drama was being staged.

Frank, who had abandoned his own daughter and was dying, thought of this daughter Samantha and treated her as an organ factory...

It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that chopping such a Frank into mincemeat would be getting off light.

---

Dex Shooting Range.

Dexter was tired and went on strike temporarily. He grabbed a bottle of cold beer, lay on a bamboo chair under the shade of a tree, gulped down a few mouthfuls of beer, lit a cigarette, and then sensed the information fed back by Little Wu.

Dexter was amused.

This woman, Samantha... how to put it... she was actually okay... at least, before being ruthlessly hurt by that scumbag Frank turning hostile.

Dexter thought of Frank's complete 180-degree attitude change toward Samantha in the original show after the surgery was done and he survived...

Burning bridges after crossing, heartless and unjust—truly disgusting.

Thinking about it, Dexter shook his head with a smile and decided to find an opportunity to let Samantha torment Frank severely.

Just then.

Karen walked over holding a bottle of cold soda.

Seeing Karen, Dexter paused his thoughts and smiled faintly at her. "Having fun?"

Karen nodded with a brilliant smile. "Fun. It's really lively."

"That's good," Dexter said, his gaze shifting to glance at the idiot Jody not too far away. "How are things with Jody?"

"Okay. It's like raising a dog," Karen said with a smile.

Dexter wanted to laugh hearing this.

A dog?

If you put it that way, this dog Jody isn't simple.

Slept with Karen, then slept with Sheila...

Haha, a very happy dog.

The two chatted idly for a couple of sentences before Karen brought up the main topic. "Lip called me and said he wants to talk to me again. I agreed. He'll be here in a bit."

"How should I talk to him?"

"No rush," Dexter thought for a moment and replied. "After he gets here, don't be too far from me. I'll see what he looks like now, if he's still that big of an idiot."

After speaking, Dexter looked at Karen's belly. "I haven't decided what to do about you and Lip yet. However, don't have this child, you know?"

Karen had no feelings for the child and didn't want it either. She nodded immediately. "I know... Mr. Ding, if I don't have it, it needs to be soon."

Dexter naturally knew. "Yeah, sometime soon. I'll find a good hospital for you. You can take a trip along the way... Los Angeles, Miami? Pick a place you want to go, expenses are on me."

Thump.

This is too good!

Karen instantly beamed with joy, super happy. "Okay, thank you, Mr. Ding. I'll tell you when I decide."

"Mm," Dexter responded.

"Then I won't disturb you," Karen was still very self-aware. After speaking, she walked away nimbly with happy steps.

Just as Karen left.

Mickey and Carl walked over quickly.

Mickey was excited and said with a smile, "Boss, so far, we've received over three million dollars."

Dexter could understand Mickey's excitement. After all, living in the South Side, Mickey had never seen so much money in his life. So, he asked with a smile, "Excited?"

The tsundere Mickey gave up being tsundere temporarily. There was no helping it; he was truly excited. He nodded crisply. "Too much money. I even have the urge to rob it!"

"Haha, you can try. The security I hired with so much money isn't a joke," Dexter was amused and said.

Mickey was just paying lip service; he really didn't have the guts to rob. He grinned. "Just kidding."

Dexter exhaled a puff of smoke. "Next year, you'll be in charge here. After you take over, how much money you can collect depends on your ability."

"Three million dollars is just okay. For this place, I invested almost fifteen million dollars."

Mickey knew roughly how much Dexter had spent. Before today, he actually firmly believed that this investment by Dexter would definitely lose money terribly.

But now, Mickey didn't think so.

The reason was simple.

Too many people came today.

People from various districts of Chicago poured in wave after wave, continuously. It was crazy.

"It should be easy to earn it back," Mickey said with a smile.

"Should be," Dexter nodded. "Throw some parties when there's nothing else to do. Money is easy to make."

The two exchanged a few words.

"Mickey, go work first. I'll chat with Carl," Dexter said to Mickey.

Mickey knew clearly how much Dexter looked after Carl. He had no objection and left obediently.

"Grab a beer and sit down. Why are you standing?" Dexter turned and said to Carl with a smile.

Carl didn't talk much. Soon, he grabbed a beer and sat on the bamboo chair next to Dexter. "What do you want to talk to me about?"

"Just chatting casually. Or let's talk about your future," Dexter took a sip of beer and said.

"Future?" Carl also gulped down some beer, a bit confused.

The reason was simple.

The word "future" seemed too unfamiliar to Carl.

"Yeah, future. For example, what do you want to do in the future," Dexter said.

Carl thought for a moment. "I want to be like you, have lots and lots of money, and have a girlfriend as good as Bianca."

Dexter was amused hearing this and looked at Carl. "Do you think you can do it?"

"..." Carl was dumbstruck for a moment. "I don't know. My grades are bad, and I don't know how to make money."

Dexter shook his head. "Whether grades are good or not actually isn't important. What's important is how you conduct yourself... Do you still like causing destruction now?"

Carl was stunned hearing this. Immediately after, he suddenly realized with surprise that working day in and day out, he hadn't caused destruction in a long time.
