The Gallagher House, first floor.

As time passed, the atmosphere, which was already so oppressive it was hard to breathe, didn't lessen but instead intensified significantly.

Fiona didn't like this atmosphere. Her eyes widened as she looked at Lip, Ian, and Carl in turn. Taking a deep breath, she spoke up, "I bought a lot of meat. I'll make dinner, and we'll have a good meal."

Fiona didn't mention the word "party" anymore.

With things developing to this point, throwing a party would be a bit too ridiculous...

Hearing this, Lip and the other two looked at Fiona.

No matter how messy things were, dinner still had to be eaten.

Lip took a fierce drag of his cigarette and spoke up. "I'll help you."

Just like that.

These Gallaghers, who always possessed a unique kind of resilience, quickly and tacitly stopped mentioning Debbie and Frank. They got busy together, tidying up what needed tidying and cooking what needed cooking.

Second floor.

Having bamboozled Debbie thoroughly and spun her around his little finger, Frank, who had long thought of a chance to survive, spoke up, pretending to be casual.

"Debbie, I might be able to get a liver," Frank said.

Debbie, whose face was stained with tears, heard this and instantly got excited. She looked up sharply at Frank. "Really? Where from?"

"I have another daughter. I have to find her. I need your help," Frank said in a light, airy tone.

Hearing this, Debbie was dumbfounded on the spot, almost shocked speechless. "Dad, what are you saying?? You have another daughter? Who?"

Frank smiled faintly. "Samantha. She is my first child. Maybe she will donate a liver to me."

"..." An older sister popping out of thin air—Debbie's little brain really couldn't digest it all at once.

It took a good while before Debbie found her voice again, asking anxiously, "Where is she?"

"I'm not sure," Frank shook his head. "We have to go look for her tomorrow. I can't walk anymore. Tomorrow, you push me to find her, okay?"

"Okay," Debbie wanted Frank to live, so she agreed very crisply.

Frank smiled. "Truly my good daughter."

Time flew.

With the help of Lip and Ian, Fiona prepared a table of quite sumptuous dinner.

Everything was done. Fiona wiped her hands, walked to the stairs, took a deep breath, and spoke as normally as possible, shouting upstairs, "Debbie, dinner is ready. Come down and eat."

Both Debbie and Frank heard it.

Debbie hadn't forgotten the cold-blooded ruthlessness of Fiona and the others. Subconsciously, she was about to refuse.

Frank hadn't eaten normal food for several days and was truly hungry. He hurriedly spoke first, "Debbie, go eat. Bring a plate up for me. Dad is hungry too."

Debbie was already completely charmed by Frank. Hearing this, she nodded obediently and decisively.

Shortly after.

First floor dining room.

Debbie was sulking and didn't talk to Fiona or the others. She just found a plate on her own and started getting dinner for Frank.

"Debbie," Fiona wasn't too stupid; she saw it and spoke as nicely as possible. "Sit down and eat dinner first. Take care of Frank after you eat."

Debbie gave Fiona a cold look, didn't speak, and kept moving her hands.

Fiona had a temper too, and actually quite a big one.

She had already spoken so nicely, yet Debbie still had this attitude. Fiona was really about to snap and wanted to scold Debbie. But the words reached her lips, and thinking that Debbie had just come back today and had gone through that stuff with Frank... Fiona gritted her teeth and endured it, but she didn't try to persuade her anymore.

Debbie carried a plate full of food back to the second floor.

Frank wasn't completely immobile; he still had basic mobility. Taking the plate, although he was starving, to keep Debbie hooked, he didn't just gobble it down regardless. Instead, he acted like a good father first and said to Debbie, "Debbie, you're hungry too. Go down quickly. I can handle the rest myself."

Debbie was worried. "Can you manage?"

Frank returned a smile. "I can. You go quickly."

Debbie left, went downstairs, and sat at the dining table.

Fiona and the others were waiting; they hadn't started.

Only when Debbie sat down did Fiona speak up. "Alright, let's eat."

Carl couldn't wait any longer. He immediately ignored the atmosphere in the dining room and started eating nimbly.

Debbie remained silent and started eating too.

This dinner was truly weird enough.

No one made a sound, just eating silently, acting like death row inmates about to be sent to the execution ground.

---

After eating.

Fiona wiped her mouth and glanced sideways at Debbie. There was genuinely a hint of resentment in her eyes.

Driven by resentment, Fiona thought about it, gritted her teeth, and decided, fuck it. Since the atmosphere was already this bad, she might as well take this opportunity to talk about things. She moved her lips and spoke up.

"I have something I need to tell you guys."

"Jimmy rented a house on XX Street next door. I'm living with Jimmy now."

"This doesn't mean I don't care about you anymore. I will still come back, and I will help with family matters."

"Because I am your sister, I will still bear the various expenses of this family as much as possible."

"..."

Fiona said a whole bunch in one breath.

Fiona had thought about these words many times in her head, so she was very practiced.

After listening.

Lip instantly breathed a sigh of relief silently... The reason was simple: Fiona was still willing to cover the expenses. This was great. Lip felt the pressure lighten significantly.

Ian had heard Lip mention this before, plus being a bit of a romantic fool, he smiled at Fiona and supported her. "Fi, don't worry about us. You really should live a bit happier."

Fiona felt a warmth in her heart hearing this.

Carl, as usual, didn't have many thoughts and asked in confusion, "So, you moved out?"

Carl was still young, and Fiona felt quite guilty toward him. She nodded. "Yeah, but I'll be here most of the time, just not sleeping here at night. Actually, it's no different from before."

Hearing this, Carl pondered for a moment and asked again with a serious face, "Then can I move into your room?"

Fiona really hadn't expected Carl's focus to be on this. She was stunned instantly. "..."

Recovering her senses, Fiona immediately felt incredibly uncomfortable.

Give up her room?

Once she gave it up, she would truly have little formal connection left with the Gallagher house.

Fiona instinctively didn't want to, but didn't know what to say.

Just at this moment.

Debbie glared at Fiona, then spoke to Carl. "Carl, you can't move into Fiona's room."

"Why?" Carl didn't understand. "She's not living there anymore."

"Because we will soon have a big sister. She might need to move into that room," Debbie said with a heavy tone.

"????" Carl was even more confused. "What big sister?"

Fiona, Lip, and Ian also looked at Debbie in confusion.

"Frank has another eldest daughter. That is his first child. We are going to find her tomorrow," Debbie said expectantly.

Naturally.

Fiona and the other three were dumbfounded. "???"

Jimmy was overjoyed. "^_^!"
