Lip had lost his mind.
After getting kicked out of school, he first chased after Karen's car, screaming like a lunatic.
When he lost sight of the car, Lip ran all the way to Karen's house.
Karen wasn't home, so Lip ran around searching everywhere.
This went on for hours. Looking no different from a madman, Lip finally ran out of energy. Like a homeless bum, he collapsed on the vacant lot next to Karen's house, gasping for air, waiting for her to come back.
About twenty minutes later.
Frank walked out of Karen's house (Sheila's), lighting a cigarette, ready to head to the Alibi Room for a drink. He saw Lip.
After a brief hesitation, Frank decided to waste a little time and walked over to Lip.
He stood over him.
"Don't act like a pussy," Frank blew out a puff of smoke, his voice dripping with disdain.
"Fuck off!" Lip snapped back immediately.
Frank didn't mind at all. He smirked. "You kid, you're a loser. Over a woman? Really?"
Hearing this.
The rage that had been building up for three months—god knows how much of it—exploded. Boom.
Lip sprang to his feet, his face twisted in fury. "Say that again!!"
Frank laughed, couldn't be bothered to repeat himself, and turned to walk away. "Everyone says you're a genius, that you have a bright future. But honestly, you're even worse than me. You're definitely going to be a loser."
The words hung in the air.
Lip was so angry the veins on his forehead pulsed. His fists clenched, knuckles cracking. He had a genuine impulse to chase Frank down and beat him to death!
"Fuck YOU!!" Lip screamed, but he didn't chase after him.
Frank, back turned to Lip, chuckled. He didn't break stride, continuing on his way to the Alibi Room.
Lip glared at Frank's retreating figure with eyes spitting fire. After a long while, he looked away and glanced at Karen's house again.
The truth was.
Frank's words had an effect.
Not much, but enough to calm Lip down slightly.
After a while, Lip started walking back to the Gallagher house.

The Kash and Grab.
After going out to cool off and having a good cry, Linda returned, having calmed down a bit. She stared coldly at Kash's swollen face and Ian's black eye.
After staring for a while, Linda spoke to Kash. "I want another child! Once I'm successfully pregnant, you can play however the fuck you want, as long as no one else finds out."
Kash was stunned. "Huh??"
"Are you fucking deaf? I want another child!"
Kash snapped out of it, feeling a sudden surge of relief. He instinctively glanced at Ian, then asked Linda, "That's it?"
"Until I get pregnant, no screwing Ian or any other man!" Linda emphasized firmly.
"Okay!" Kash agreed hurriedly.
Hearing this, Ian breathed a silent sigh of relief. Then, bracing himself, he spoke to Linda. "I'm sorry."
"Heh," Linda sneered. She couldn't be bothered to say another word to Ian, turned around, and briskly left the store.
Seeing this.
Ian and Kash looked at each other and smiled.
"We just have to endure it for a month or so," Kash said gently. "After that, we won't have to sneak around anymore."
Lovestruck Ian nodded, his smile clearly showing his happiness.
So.
The Gallaghers, except for Carl, were all shameless. No argument there.

3:00 PM.
The real estate agent was surprisingly efficient. He had already settled things with Mr. Harrison's family and called Dexter. "Mr. Ding, the house deal is settled. Do you have time to come over and sign the paperwork?"
Dexter was at a florist buying flowers. "Sure. Where should we meet?"
"At Mr. Harrison's house. I'll call the family over right now," the agent replied.
"Okay, I'll be there in about fifteen minutes," Dexter agreed.
Call ended.
He spent another two or three minutes picking out a bouquet.
"Please deliver this to XXX Hospital, to a doctor named Bianca. Write on the card: See you again — Dexter," Dexter smiled at the female owner of the flower shop.
Dexter was now undeniably famous in the area.
Hearing this, the owner teased him with a bright smile. "Mr. Ding, which lucky doctor is this? I'm going to die of jealousy."
Dexter laughed. "Boss, you have a husband. What are you jealous of?"
The owner laughed instantly. "Mr. Ding, just say the word, and I'll divorce my husband right now."
Dexter: "..."
Okay then. Everyone here really is shameless. Fair enough.
"No, no, no. That would make me a terrible person," Dexter laughed, paying the bill. "I have things to do. Gotta run."
"Come back soon," the owner called out.
Dexter didn't reply, got in his car, and headed straight for 2118 North Wallace Street.
The price was set. Dexter wrote a check, signed the contract, and left the transfer procedures and other trivialities for the agent to handle.
In other words, the house was his.
"Mr. Ding, pleasure doing business," the agent beamed.
"Pleasure," Dexter replied.
Before long.
The agent and Mr. Harrison's family left, leaving Dexter standing alone in the dilapidated house.
The house was indeed a wreck, and it was filled with random junk.
Dexter didn't want to stay long. He went outside and called Tommy. "Tommy, I got the house. You free to come over?"
"Boss Ding, that was fast! I'm free. What's the address? I'm on my way."
Tommy was quick. He appeared in front of Dexter in about ten minutes.
"Boss Ding, why did you buy this house?" Tommy laughed as soon as he saw it. "Living next to the Gallaghers isn't exactly a blessing. The noise will kill you, and Frank will steal your stuff."
"It's fine," Dexter laughed. "I'll buy a few more guns later. If Frank dares to steal anything, I'll just shoot him."
"Haha! A lot of people would thank you for that," Tommy laughed heartily.
After a few jokes.
Tommy got down to business. "Boss Ding, how do you want to renovate this place?"
"You're in charge. Just make it look brand new, beautiful, and clean," Dexter really didn't care about the specifics.
Having known him for a while, Tommy understood Dexter's temper a bit. He knew Dexter meant exactly what he said, so he nodded simply. "Done. Leave it to me. I guarantee you'll be satisfied."
"Thanks," Dexter said.
Just as the words left his mouth.
Lip, face bruised and expression dark, walked into Dexter and Tommy's field of view.
Dexter and Tommy saw Lip.
Lip also saw the two of them. He was a bit startled, and simultaneously, seeing Dexter made him angry.
Dexter couldn't be bothered with this idiot. He stopped looking and smiled at Tommy. "I'm heading out. Gotta get back to the restaurant to prep for tonight."
"Okay. Can you save a portion for me? I'll come by tonight to eat," Tommy chuckled.
"Sure."
Dexter got in his car and left.
Lip thought for a moment and walked up to Tommy. "What's going on here?"
Tommy grinned. "Got a job. Dexter bought this house and hired me to renovate it."
Hearing this, Lip: "?????"
