Inside Jimmy's newly rented house.

For a moment, Fiona's mind was a chaotic mess, completely out of her control.

Moving to a place just down the street from the Gallagher house was one thing.

Leaving Illinois and moving to Michigan was an entirely different ballgame.

And keep in mind, just moving here had consumed a massive amount of her energy. She had struggled with it for a long time before finally convincing herself to do it...

Fiona fell into silence, not knowing what to say.

Jimmy didn't disturb her. He lit a cigarette and waited quietly.

A long time passed.

"I have to think about it..." Fiona turned to look at Jimmy and said with great difficulty.

Jimmy smiled and nodded. "Okay."

Fiona took Jimmy's cigarette, lit one for herself, and continued to ponder.

She didn't want to be separated from Jimmy. She truly believed that Jimmy going back to school to become a doctor was a great thing. She wanted to support him, and more importantly, she wanted to be a doctor's wife in the future...

But thoughts were just thoughts, and reality was reality.

And reality was cruel.

If she left, what would happen to Lip and the others?

Leaving aside the risk of someone calling DCFS to report five kids in the Gallagher house without an adult...

Just speaking of survival.

How would Lip and the other four survive? Would she send money on time every month?

Sending money was doable, but... without her there, what if something happened to one of them?

There were too many questions...

Fiona thought and thought, getting more and more irritable.

Accompanying this irritability, after thinking it through, Fiona finally came up with two options.

One was to take Lip and the other four, move to Michigan together, stay with Jimmy for the next year, and then move back to Chicago.

The second was to let Jimmy go alone and be in a long-distance relationship.

Neither choice was easy to make.

Fiona sighed silently, unwilling to think about it anymore. Habitually choosing escapism, she closed her eyes and lay back down.

In the hospital ward.

Seeing Samantha, Frank immediately ramped up his acting skills again, bringing out his gentlemanly side and putting on a brave face as he spoke to her.

Samantha wasn't normal to begin with, and Frank's acting skills were indeed formidable.

It wasn't surprising at all that Samantha took the bait. She felt Frank was truly a good man, and consequently, felt incredibly heartbroken over Frank's misfortune.

"Oh, Frank, you shouldn't have to go through this. That bastard should really be shot," Samantha said with heartache.

"Sigh," Frank sighed pretentiously. "It's a pity I don't even know who did it. I'm always this miserable. First my liver failed, leaving me with not many days to live, and now I'm missing an arm."

"Why didn't that bastard just finish me off!"

Samantha heard this and immediately fell for it, puzzled. "Frank, your liver is failing? What happened? You didn't mention it yesterday."

Frank gave a bitter smile. "We just met yesterday. More importantly, I felt a real connection with you and was afraid that saying something like this would scare you away."

"I'm sorry. If you want to leave, I understand. I won't blame you."

"A dying man like me really shouldn't be getting involved with you."

Samantha was severely love-starved. She immediately grasped the key point and smiled. "Oh, Frank, I thought the connection I felt was just my one-sided delusion."

"Turns out you felt it too."

"Don't worry, I have guts. A little thing like this won't scare me off."

As she spoke, Samantha, who truly believed she had found love, rolled her eyes and said to Frank, "Frank, I'm afraid I can't help with your arm problem."

"But, for the liver problem, maybe I can."

"If I donate part of my liver to you, you should be able to live longer, right?"

As soon as these words came out.

Frank felt a burst of joy in his heart and almost laughed out loud. He had to hastily hold it back and said gentlemanly again, "How could I ask that? We just met..."

To the side.

Debbie was naturally delighted. At the same time, she felt Frank was truly impressive, bamboozling Samantha into voluntarily donating her liver so easily.

Although this wasn't good, no matter what, Frank finally had a chance to survive.

Compared to Frank surviving, what did a little immorality matter?

Debbie smiled, silently telling herself not to mind Frank's methods.

By the hospital bed.

Samantha was completely spun around by Frank's deception, feeling that Frank was super considerate. "Frank, you're a good person. I'm volunteering for this, you don't need to overthink it."

"When you get better, we have plenty of days to spend together."

Tsk tsk, she was already thinking about building a life with Frank.

People starved for love are truly terrifying.

Frank was extremely happy, and at the same time, a bit contemptuous of Samantha. But of course, the show had to go on. "True. Then thank you for your kindness first. Regardless of whether we match the transplant conditions, I thank you very much."

Hearing this, Samantha smiled brilliantly. "We are so destined, we will definitely match. What blood type are you? Since we're at the hospital, I'll go get tested right now."

Frank was practically crazy with joy and hurriedly gave her the answer.

Not long after.

Dumping Chuckie on Debbie, Samantha scrambled off.

Seeing Samantha leave, Debbie, who was genuinely happy too, decisively gave Frank a thumbs up. "Daddy, amazing."

Frank smiled smugly.

Lunch service at Dex Restaurant had ended.

Mandy finished washing the dishes and completed her duties. She walked out of the restaurant, squatted by the roadside, lit a cigarette, and looked diagonally across the street at Dex Western Restaurant.

Mandy had an idea. This thought had actually occurred to her yesterday.

She wanted to transfer to work at Dex Western Restaurant. That way, she wouldn't have to work directly under Dexter.

Why did she have such a thought?

The reason was simple: naturally, because she had gotten involved with Lip again.

In Mandy's view, if she went to work at Dex Western Restaurant, she could basically have both a job and Lip at the same time.

She wanted this result, so she took out her phone and called Lip, wanting to talk to him and see what he thought about it.

Lip was wandering around outside, trying to find an opportunity to make money... Yes, Lip still didn't plan to find a real job for the time being; he was still thinking about shortcuts.

His phone rang.

Seeing the call was from Mandy, Lip hesitated slightly, then had an idea. He hurriedly pressed answer and immediately spoke up with considerable enthusiasm, "Coincidence, I was just preparing to call you."

Hearing this, Mandy, the die-hard romantic, instantly smiled happily. "Miss me?"

Lip missed her my ass. He chuckled, "I have something I want to ask you."

"Go ahead," Mandy replied happily, not minding.

"Frank had his right arm sawed off last night," Lip didn't talk nonsense and went straight to the point. "I thought about it for a long time afterward, and I feel it's extremely likely that Dexter hired someone to do it."

"In fact, regarding the many shitty things that have happened to the Gallagher family over the past year or so, I suspect Dexter is the mastermind behind the scenes."

"I want to find evidence. You work for him."

"Are you willing to help me?"

Mandy: "??????"
