Chapter 24 - The Uninvited Guest and The Beast

Seongjii turned to Araya with a serious gaze. "For my next wish... I want a BMW M5. But it needs a solid backstory. If anyone asks how I got it, I don't want to lie."

Araya raised an eyebrow, crossing her arms. "A BMW? Mortal, you don't even know how to hold a steering wheel properly!"

"It's not for me," Seongjii's voice softened. "I saw Dad come home from the office today on that old scooter. His back was in so much pain. This car will fulfill my dream, but more importantly, it will give him the comfort he deserves."

Araya sighed, a small smile playing on her lips. "You and your emotional dreams... fine. Wish granted." She snapped her fingers, and a faint magical shimmer filled the air. Seongjii rushed to the window, but outside was nothing but pitch-black darkness.

"Araya, where is it?"

"Chill, Mortal. Patience is a virtue. Go eat dinner; it'll arrive on its own. Trust me."

They were just sitting down at the dining table when the doorbell rang. Ding-dong. Araya went to open it, looking slightly annoyed. Standing there was a tall, muscular gentleman in a perfectly tailored black suit. He had messy hair but an aura so powerful it seemed to pull the very air out of the room.

"Who are you?" Araya asked, stunned by his presence.

"I am Han Dae-Jung," the man replied smoothly. "Rika's father." Suddenly, Rika popped up from behind him, waving cheerfully. "Hello, Araya!"

Araya's jaw practically hit the floor. The richest man in Seoul was standing at their doorstep.

Seongjii walked up behind her. "Who is it, Araya? Oh, Rika? You're here? And who is this... your bodyguard?"

A deadly silence fell over the room. Araya frantically leaned in and whispered into Seongjii's ear, "You idiot! That's Chairman Han Dae-Jung—Rika's father!"

Seongjii froze, then immediately performed a 90-degree bow. "I-I am so sorry, Sir! I thought..."

Mr. Han chuckled softly. "It's quite alright. Mistakes happen." 😅

"Sir, please come inside," Seongjii offered.

"No, son, I'm running late. I just came to say that I haven't seen my daughter this happy in years. She finally lived her dream today... and it's all because of you." Mr. Han pulled out a small, elegant box and handed it to Seongjii. "Please, accept this small token of my gratitude. Open it."

Seongjii opened the box, expecting an expensive watch, but inside lay a heavy, metallic key with the iconic BMW logo. 🏎️✨

They all stepped outside. Parked by the curb was a machine that looked like it belonged in a high-stakes heist movie. A Matte Black BMW M5. In the dim light, the matte finish was so aggressive that it absorbed the streetlamps, making the car look like a void in reality—a menacing silhouette lurking in the shadows. It was almost invisible, just a dark, heavy presence on the road.

Then, Seongjii pressed the unlock button.

Click-clack.

Suddenly, two sharp, hexagonal LED rings ignited through the darkness. The 'Angel Eyes' glowed with a cold, predatory white light. It didn't look like a car turning on; it looked like a beast opening its eyes to stare down its prey. The glow reflected off the matte hood, finally revealing the muscular lines and the carbon-fiber beast hiding in the dark.

"Whoa..." Araya whispered, her eyes reflecting the white LEDs. "It really does look like it's alive."

Seongjii was speechless. "Sir, I can't possibly accept this—"

Just then, Seongjii's parents stepped out of the house. As his father's eyes landed on the man standing by the car, his footsteps faltered, his face turning pale.

"Boss? Chairman Han Dae-Jung? What are you doing here?"

Mr. Han turned, his smile deepening as he looked at Seongjii's father. "Mr. Park? So... you are Seongjii's father?"
