Chapter 7 - NO MORE RUNNING…..

The school playground was unusually quiet.

Seongjii stood at the center, his posture calm but alert, while three familiar figures glared at him from a short distance away. The air felt heavy—thick with tension, whispers spreading among nearby students.

One of the bullies clenched his fists.

"You'll regret ever embarrassing us," he growled.

Another stepped forward, cracking his knuckles.

"This time… no mercy."

Seongjii let out a small smirk.

"You guys really think one versus three is scary?" he said casually.

"I've seen toddlers with more brains than you. And your fighting style?" He tilted his head mockingly. "Looks like you're trying to tickle me."

A few gasps echoed around the playground.

But inside, his heart was pounding.

Okay… I roasted them, Seongjii thought nervously. But can I actually do this? I've never really fought anyone before…

A familiar voice drifted beside him.

"Relax," Jennie said, floating calmly, her lips curved into a teasing smile.

"Trust yourself, mortal. You've trained for this. Feel every move."

Behind him, his friends hesitated.

"Bro… maybe we should just leave," Minho whispered.

"Yeah, this fight isn't worth it," Satoshi added.

Hyunwoo nodded silently, already stepping back.

Around them, students gathered.

"Whoa… he's actually standing up to them?"

"I didn't expect him to fight back at all…"

Seongjii took a deep breath.

I've trained too hard to back out now, he told himself.

This is the test. No turning back.

The bullies charged.

Seongjii shifted instinctively, his body moving before his mind could catch up. A punch flew toward his face—but he sidestepped smoothly, his footwork flawless.

Before the bully could react—

POW!

BAM!

WHACK!

A rapid boxing combo landed cleanly.

The bully stumbled back, eyes wide in shock.

"What the—?!"

Another rushed in, confused, swinging wildly. Seongjii ducked, spun, and countered effortlessly.

Students gasped.

"Did he just… dodge that?"

"No way… he's actually fighting back!"

Seongjii's eyes widened slightly.

I can see their attacks, he realized.

Every move… clearly.

Two bullies attacked together this time.

Seongjii stepped between them, sidestepped one strike, then launched an uppercut so precise it sent one crashing back. A follow-up blow dropped the second instantly.

The third froze.

"How is he moving like that?!"

"This is impossible…!"

One final combination—clean, sharp, decisive.

All three bullies hit the ground.

Silence.

Then—

Cheers.

"BROOO!" Minho shouted.

"That was insane!"

"I never thought I'd see this day!"

The bullies crawled away, humiliated and furious, unable to even look at him.

Seongjii stood there, breathing heavily. A few bruises marked his skin, but his stance was firm—confident.

Jennie floated beside him, clapping slowly.

"Finally," she said. "Showing them what you're made of, mortal."

Seongjii chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Maybe… just a little."

As he walked back toward the school building, whispers followed him.

"That was epic…"

"He's completely different now…"

Seongjii's expression turned serious.

This is just the start, he thought.

I'm ready for whatever comes next.

To be continued…

Next: Seongjii's next wish & new adventures await.
