As they walked in the restaurant, the sound of a bell chimes in the air alerting the receptionist at the front desk. Tiredly, the receptionist greets them and guides them to a table. While doing so, the receptionist calls for a waitress passing by.
The waitress quickly came over to their table while taking out her notebook and pen. Cheerfully she asks them. " Hello! What can i get for you guys today? ".
Sae-on who just flipped through the menu's pages quickly told her his order. The waitress hearing his order tried to keep up with his order. As Sae-on finally blurted out his last potato dish, the waitress looked exhausted mentally, yet she keeps on her determination.
She then look toward Ivan and Raphael while aksing " So, what can i get for you two?..". She expects a similar situation but her expectations get blown away as they order two simple items each. She then walks toward the kitchen with a note to give to the chef.
Meanwhile Sae-on puts his head on Raphael's shoulder, he reads the menu in his hand thinking of the many potatoes he will enjoy today. His ears turn red as the picture of a delicious potato appears in his mind.
Raphael who saw Sae-on on his shoulder tried not to move much, while sorting his skills on a blue system interface. In his heart, he really wanted to pinch Sae-on's chubby cheeks.
Few hours later, the waitress comes to the table with the food on a large plate. The smell of fragrant potato floats towards Sae-on's nose as he stares at the waitress blankly.
As the waitress puts one dish at a time, Sae-on couldn't help but get excited to the point of pinching Ivan's hands quietly. Sae-on's blank face turns blush red as his food gets put on the table.
Meanwhile Ivan who got pinched screamed inside, but outside him tried to act nonchalant.
Once the waitress finished plating the food, Sae-on quickly took a bite of his food. He smiled warmly as he slowly enjoyed the flavour. The dish had a herb-umami flavor to it that mixed well with the creamy yet soft texture of the potato.
Ivan happily ate as he looked at the smiling Sae-on, seeing him made his heart warmer. Meanwhile Raphael hasn't touched his food yet but was just watching Sae-on while taking a sip of his champagne.
After finishing the meal, they went to the front desk to pay. Ivan who promised to pay took out his card. The tired receptionist who was exhausted was hit with the bright light of the card. The receptionist quickly looked up in surprise seeing the card of the magic tower's owner.
The once tired lifeless receptionist quickly changed his attitude. As he stood up, he stuttered his words. " m-may..i..t-take.. the card..s-sir ".
Ivan nodded softly and gave the card to the receptionist's hands. The receptionist trembled seeing the card as he put it in the transaction machine.
As the transaction finished, the receptionist saw the remaining balance of 1 billion shards. He then calmed himself down not to faint and smiled to Ivan. " Thank you for your dining. ".
Ivan smiled and pulled the door open for Sae-on. As they left the restaurant and reminisced the silent meal, they didn't know what was about to come next.
