Chapter 156 - Chapter 156: Fallen Angel!

"Class is over—let's explore!" Xie Xie stretched, grinning with restless energy.

Fang Yang smiled faintly: "Sure."

The group unanimously agreed, strolling into a vibrant street ablaze with lanterns.

Compared to other districts, this area pulsed with life—crowds spilling from shops, laughter echoing.

"Hey—what's this place?" Tang Wulin pointed curiously.

Xie Xie leaned in, eyes lighting up: "A dessert bar! Shrek City has these too? Let's grab something!"

"Yes! I want ice cream!" Xu Xiaoyan bounced, eyes sparkling.

Everyone nodded eagerly.

Inside the bar—lively, 80% full, many wearing Shrek Academy uniforms.

Servers weaved through tables, efficient amidst the buzz.

Soft lights, mellow music, and chatter blended into cozy warmth.

Fang Yang's group found a vacant table.

A server approached with menus, smiling:

"Good evening—seven orders?"

Her gaze lingered on Fang Yang—their center.

He scanned the menu, then asked the group: "What'll it be?"

"Iced lemon tea!" Xie Xie blurted.

"Sprite for me," Tang Wulin decided.

"Ice cream AND chocolate milkshake!" Xu Xiaoyan beamed.

"Ice cream," Gu Yue said simply.

Zhang Yangzi and Wang Jinxi exchanged glances: "Two colas!"

Fang Yang closed the menu: "Lemon water for me. That's all."

The server jotted down orders, bowing: "One moment!"

Soon, drinks arrived.

Girls and ice cream—a timeless weakness.

Even Gu Yue dug in, eyes bright.

"Try mine," Gu Yue offered her spoon to Fang Yang.

He took a bite, smiling: "Delicious."

Xu Xiaoyan immediately thrust her milkshake forward.

Fang Yang sighed, sipping through her straw.

"Good?" she asked, eyes flicking to Gu Yue.

"Very," he replied gently.

Tang Wulin's group turned away tactfully—no one wanted to witness this "dog food" spectacle.

(Except Xie Xie—single, sulking, poking his lemon slice.)

Tang Wulin clapped his shoulder, solemn:

"Xie Xie—get used to it. This'll happen often."

Zhang Yangzi and Wang Jinxi clinked cola cups, smirking.

"You…" Xie Xie sputtered, then muttered: "Fine—I'll ignore you."

"What're you staring at?" Tang Wulin nudged him.

Xie Xie grinned slyly: "Scouting for pretty senior sisters! Gotta seize my chance to escape singledom!"

Tang Wulin shook his head, exasperated.

"Why's everyone paired up but me?!" Xie Xie protested.

"Not us!" Tang Wulin denied hastily.

Suddenly—a haughty voice cut through:

"Waitress—come here!"

All turned toward the neighboring table.

A server hurried over—black skirt, white vest, porcelain skin, chestnut-red bob, large black eyes dewy and striking—a beauty radiating fragile grace.

"Yuanen Yehui?"

Fang Yang's eyes narrowed—recognition flashing.

Twin martial souls: Titan Giant Ape and Fallen Angel.

"Hm?"

She felt his gaze, locking eyes with him instantly.

A polite smile touched her lips—but inwardly, she recoiled—his aura was abyssal, unmeasurable.

Then—the rude boy spoke again:

"Give me your soul-guided comm number, girl!"

He was 15–16, golden-haired, dark-gold eyes blazing, white suit pristine,

radiating arrogant, suffocating light.

"Apologies—that's beyond my duties," Yuanen bowed coolly.

"Is THIS your service attitude?! Get your manager!"

SLAM!

He slammed the table—drinks splattering.

Fang Yang snorted: "Xie Xie—this guy's more punchable than you."

"Agreed," Tang Wulin nodded.

"You—!" Xie Xie whined. "I'm just loud—not a tyrant!"

"True," Tang Wulin conceded.

Zhang Yangzi suddenly remembered: "Fang Yang—were you and Wulin the ones who fought on Donghai's first day?"

"Yep," Fang Yang confirmed. "I nearly got bullied—luckily, I had some strength."

"Some strength?!" Xie Xie thought, incredulous.

He'd seen Fang Yang and Zhou Changxi get thrashed!

"Ah—that's why Class One lost a student!" Zhang Yangzi realized. "You were reassigned to Class Five!"
