"Continue," Yun Ming shook off his doubts, Atlas Spear blazing anew.
"Let me see your true strength."
Fang Yang gripped Golden Dragon Spear, dragon patterns writhing to life—dragon aura surging.
He inhaled deeply, six soul rings igniting—soul power roaring.
"Pavilion Master—please teach me!"
Fang Yang vanished, spear wreathed in black flame—a golden-black comet stabbing at Yun Ming.
Space rippled along its path—faster than lightning!
Yun Ming met it head-on, Atlas Spear erupting with divine gold.
Then—he twisted the spear—dragon-like thrust aimed at Fang Yang's chest.
Simplicity embodying the spear dao's ultimate truth!
Fang Yang blocked calmly, black flame coiling around his spear—wrist flicking to parry.
CLANG!
He staggered back, palms stinging—but eyes blazing brighter.
"Again!"
Blurs clashed—spears weaving heaven-shattering patterns.
Golden Dragon Spear and Atlas Spear collided—sparks like dying stars.
Each clash shook space itself, flame and light scorching reality.
Without Yun Ming's barrier, Sea God Island would've crumbled.
Outside, Ya Li and Na'er watched breathlessly.
"For a Six-Ring Soul Emperor to duel Brother Ming so fiercely…" Ya Li marveled.
(Fang Yang: Level 60. Yun Ming: Level 99 Limit Quasi-God!)
Na'er bit her lip, eyes locked on Fang Yang's silhouette.
Inside—the battle reached fever pitch.
Fang Yang's brow glistened with sweat, his resolve unbroken.
Every exchange deepened his understanding of spear dao—a priceless gift.
Yun Ming's approval swelled.
Suddenly—he halted, spear lowering.
"Enough."
Fang Yang stopped, panting, gaze fixed on Yun Ming.
"I've seen your strength," Yun Ming sheathed his spear, smile satisfied.
"Na'er was right—you're a genius."
Fang Yang retracted his spear, bowing respectfully: "Thank you for your guidance, Pavilion Master."
Yun Ming nodded, voice ringing clear:
"Your entrance exams end here. Fang Yang—congratulations. From this moment, you are Shrek Academy's disciple."
As the barrier dissolved, Na'er rushed over.
"Brother!"
She leapt into his arms.
Fang Yang ruffled her purple hair, eyes soft: "Na'er."
"Let's go home," Ya Li smiled warmly.

Sea God Pavilion – Golden Ancient Tree
"Brother Ming—give me the Atlas Spear," Ya Li extended her hand, voice gentle.
Yun Ming handed it over without hesitation.
Ya Li's brow furrowed at the scorched scar.
Green light flared—life force flooding the wound.
But the black flame's mark refused to fade.
"This…" Ya Li gasped, astonished.
Her healing couldn't erase Fang Yang's flame-scar!
Fang Yang opened his mouth to explain—
Meow~
A velvety black kitten padded from his body, landing lightly on the floor.
"What's this?" Yun Ming and Ya Li exclaimed in unison.
"Xiao Hei—why'd you come out?" Fang Yang sighed fondly.
Meow!
The kitten nuzzled his leg, purring contentedly.
Its flame-pupiled eyes studied them curiously, ears twitching.
"Alright, alright—I didn't say you couldn't," Fang Yang chuckled, indulgent.
"Is this… a soul spirit?" Ya Li asked, fascinated.
"No, Your Grace—it's a Flame Spirit born from my fire martial soul," Fang Yang explained.
"Flame incarnate as a sentient being?" Yun Ming's eyes gleamed with intrigue. He'd never seen such a thing!
"Brother—Xiao Hei's adorable! Can I hold him?" Na'er pleaded, eyes sparkling.
Fang Yang looked down: "Xiao Hei."
The kitten glanced at Na'er, nudged Fang Yang, then leapt into her waiting arms, curling up trustingly.
Na'er stroked its fur, Xiao Hei purring against her palm.
Then—Fang Yang stepped forward.
His fourth Black-White-Gold ring blazed.
Fourth Soul Skill: "Yin-Yang Eternal!"
Black-and-white flame bloomed in his palm—one side devouring void, the other brimming with life—a paradoxical balance radiating awe and allure.
He gently laid the flame on Atlas Spear's scar.
The stubborn mark began healing under its dual nature.
Ya Li channeled life force anew, emerald light following the flame.
The scar faded visibly—vanishing completely!
Atlas Spear gleamed pristine—divine radiance restored.
"Fang Yang—thank you," Ya Li said gratefully.
Even she might've failed to heal it alone!
"Your Grace overstates—I caused the damage; mending it is my duty," Fang Yang bowed.
Ya Li smiled warmly: "You're Na'er's brother—call me 'Sister Ya Li.'"
"Understood, Sister Ya Li," Fang Yang replied.
Ya Li returned the spear to Yun Ming.
He ran fingers over the flawless blade, then locked eyes with Fang Yang—gaze burning with unmasked admiration.
"Fang Yang—will you become my disciple?"
His voice turned solemn:
"My direct heir—and an unconditional Inner Court disciple of Shrek Academy!"
"As for resources… Shrek's 20,000-year legacy dwarfs most powers on this continent."
Ya Li nodded beside him, her smile tender.
She knew Yun Ming's initial acceptance stemmed from Na'er—but now, it was pure recognition of Fang Yang's genius.
