Dawn's first light bathed Tian Dou City in a veil of silver mist, streets blurred in soft grey haze.
At the hotel, Fang Yang stood ready—gently rapping on Gu Yue's door.
When it opened, she stood in simple elegance: a plain long dress, raven hair pinned neatly, radiant in her unadorned grace.
"Teacher Wu—we'll be off now," Fang Yang said in the lobby, bowing to Wu Zhangkong.
"Hm."
Wu Zhangkong remained immaculate in white, voice frosty as ever, face unreadable.
The two stepped into the morning air—cool, damp, scented with wild grass.
Fang Yang inhaled deeply. "Which way, Gu Yue?"
"Follow me."
Her voice crisp as a mountain spring.
She led him through quiet alleys, stopping at a deserted corner.
Then—her hand flicked—
Space twisted.
A silver-white portal swirled into existence.
"This is…?" Fang Yang's pupils narrowed—understanding dawning.
"Come."
Gu Yue took his hand, guiding him into the rift.
WHOOSH!
They vanished from Tian Dou City.
When reality solidified—they stood at the heart of Star Dou Forest:
The Lake of Life.
The lake gleamed like liquid emerald, mirror-still, radiating soft vitality.
Ancient trees pierced the heavens, every leaf, every blade of grass pulsing with primordial life.
Breathing here felt like drinking pure energy.
Fang Yang sighed—soothed by the serenity.
Then—six figures emerged from the forest depths.
At their head strode a black-clad man, golden slit-pupils blazing with a kingly majesty.
Behind him, five beastly forms radiated terrifying soul power.
"Your servants… kneel before our King!"
Di Tian and the Six Great Demon Beasts dropped to one knee, voices trembling with reverence.
"Rise," Gu Yue commanded, tone icy as mountain snow.
"Thank you, King," they intoned, standing with bowed heads.
Their eyes flicked to Fang Yang—curiosity in their gazes.
"Gu Yue… what is this…?" Fang Yang feigned confusion.
Gu Yue said nothing—only her black eyes shimmering with silver light.
Suddenly—warm spiritual energy flooded Fang Yang's mind.
Memories surged like a tidal wave.
He knew the truth: he wasn't the true Golden Dragon King—only the bearer of the bloodline Tang San had sealed in Tang Wulin.
But this role? He'd play it to perfection.
After a long silence, Fang Yang opened his eyes—deliberately awed: "So… I am… the Golden Dragon King?"
GASPS echoed.
Di Tian's golden pupils shrank to pinpricks—The long-lost Golden Dragon King… returned!
With the Silver Dragon King at his side… the beast race's revival was at hand!
Gu Yue's lips curved into a tender smile.
"Fang Yang… you remember now…"
"Gu Yue… thank you." He bowed his head. "You restored my memories."
"It was my duty," she murmured, silver hair dancing in the breeze.
But Fang Yang frowned. "Gu Yue… why does your power feel…incomplete?"
Her lashes fluttered, hesitation in her eyes.
Then—softly: "My power… was split in two."
"Split?" Fang Yang played along.
"Na'er…" Her voice dropped. "She is my other half."
Fang Yang took her hand, voice firm: "Don't worry—I won't let Na'er vanish."
"I trust you, Fang Yang," Gu Yue whispered.
"Where is Na'er now?" he pressed.
"At Shrek Academy," came the quiet reply.
"Understood," Fang Yang nodded—plans already forming.
Then—he unleashed his Golden Dragon King bloodline.
ROOOOAAAR!
A heaven-shaking dragon's roar split the sky.
His human form shattered—golden scales erupted, armored claws sprouted, black eyes slitted into apocalyptic dragon pupils—primordial dragon aura crushing the forest.
Di Tian trembled, awe etched on his face.
His bloodline screamed in submission—soul-deep recognition of his sovereign!
Though he could resist… he chose to kneel, lowering his proud head.
"Hail… the Golden Dragon King!" Di Tian's voice shook with devotion.
The other beast-kings prostrated themselves, eyes blazing with hope—The beast race's glory would rise again!
"Rise," Fang Yang commanded, voice heavy with divine authority.
He studied them—brow furrowed.
"Your bloodlines… are far too weak."
Di Tian and the others fell silent.
Then—Fang Yang's palm ignited with a crimson flame.
Myriad Beast Spirit Flame—red as blood, swirling with phantom beasts,
forged from ten thousand souls and bloodlines.
"King—this is…?" Di Tian's eyes reflected the flames, bloodline yearning.
Fang Yang split the fire into six streams, plunging them into each beast-king's chest.
"How much you can endure… is your karma."
AAAAARGH!
Agony ripped through them.
Di Tian exploded into his true form: obsidian dragon scales, wings blotting out the sun.
Bi Ji's emerald feathers shimmered like gemstones.
The others unleashed their primal might, ancient trees trembling in their aura.
Gu Yue watched—calm, silent.
Fang Yang retracted his dragon form, joining her side.
"Soon… I'll refine your bloodline too," he murmured, hand in hers.
"Mm," she nodded, hair stirring in the wind.
Hours passed.
Di Tian and the others regained human form, auras magnified, eyes sharp with newfound power.
"Thank you, Golden Dragon King!" Di Tian knelt again, gratitude blazing in his voice.
The other beast-kings bowed deeper than before, reverence now absolute.
