Wu Zhangkong led the three boys into his office.

The room was pitifully small—barely ten square meters. Aside from a desk, a bookshelf, and a single chair, there was no space left for anything else.

"When I called you all 'trash' just now," Wu Zhangkong said coldly, his gaze sweeping over the trio, "I meant you too, Xie Xie—not just Fang Yang and Tang Wulin."

Xie Xie stiffened instantly, his hands clenching at his sides.

"Let's start with you, Xie Xie," Wu Zhangkong continued, eyes narrowing slightly. "Hiding your twin martial souls for fun? Your Level 18 soul power relies mostly on the innate advantage of twin martial souls, doesn't it?"

His tone carried a hint of icy mockery. "Are you proud of it?"

At the words "twin martial souls," Xie Xie's eyes widened in shock. How does Teacher Wu know?!

"Well… sir," Xie Xie stammered, recovering slightly, "twin-martial soul users are extremely rare. Of course I'm proud—it's my greatest asset!"

"I don't usually reveal it," he added quickly, "because it's my trump card. Once an opponent knows I have twin martial souls, they'll prepare in advance, and the element of surprise—the very advantage—is lost!"

He'd indeed held back in his match against Tang Wulin, not using his second martial soul at all.

Had he deployed both, he might have truly challenged Tang Wulin's unnaturally resilient Blue Silver Grass.

…Though he had no idea Tang Wulin also had a second martial soul!

Hearing this, Tang Wulin's expression shifted subtly—thoughts swirling in his mind.

Wu Zhangkong's voice turned even colder. "You're still far from competent. Even trash with twin martial souls isn't unheard of."

"As an Agility-Attack Soul Master, you were entangled and defeated by a Blue Silver Grass user—and you still dare boast about your twin martial souls?"

"I…" Xie Xie's face burned crimson. He couldn't refute it.

In that fight… he truly had been Blue Silver Bound.

Wu Zhangkong then turned his frosty gaze to Tang Wulin.

"And you, Tang Wulin—what exactly is going on with your Blue Silver Grass?"

Tang Wulin scratched his head instinctively. "Teacher Wu… ever since fusing my soul spirit, my martial soul has… changed."

"Show it to me," Wu Zhangkong commanded.

Without hesitation, Tang Wulin extended his palm. A cluster of Blue Silver Grass emerged—but unlike ordinary vines, these pulsed with a deeper, richer blue.

Faint azure patterns shimmered along the leaf edges, radiating an ancient, mysterious aura.

Wu Zhangkong's eyes flickered with surprise. "Wrap it around my wrist."

Tang Wulin complied.

Wu Zhangkong tugged lightly—and his brows rose. The vine's tensile strength was extraordinary, and he could sense unusual soul power rippling within.

"This isn't just mutated Blue Silver Grass…" he murmured, frowning as his fingers traced the glowing patterns.

"Your martial soul isn't merely mutated—it's undergone Bloodline Awakening!"

"Bloodline Awakening?" Tang Wulin looked utterly confused. "What does that mean, Teacher?"

The air in the office seemed to freeze. Even Xie Xie held his breath.

Only Fang Yang remained calm—this was precisely the result of his infusion of Sea God energy.

As for how Tang Wulin's bloodline awakened?

Don't ask. Don't care.

"Bloodline Awakening," Wu Zhangkong explained slowly, "means you carry ancient, powerful blood in your veins—blood that grants special abilities and elevates your core martial soul."

He paused—then asked sharply, "Do you know Tang San, the Sea God?"

Fang Yang stayed silent. Tang Wulin and Xie Xie nodded vigorously.

Twenty thousand years ago, Tang San ascended as the Sea God and rose to the God Realm—a legend every Soul Master on the Douluo Continent knew.

And Tang San was most famous for his twin martial souls: the top-tier Plant Martial Soul Blue Silver Empress, and the Number One Weapon martial soul in the world—Hao Tian Hammer.

"Tang Wulin," Wu Zhangkong said, voice icy, "your Blue Silver Grass is evolving toward Blue Silver Empress due to your bloodline awakening."

Just then, Tang Wulin blurted out, "Teacher Wu… what does the Hao Tian Hammer look like?"

"Jet-black," Wu Zhangkong described, "with a half-foot handle. The head resembles a miniature forging hammer, glowing with a unique aura, etched with dark glyphs…"

Before he finished—Tang Wulin's left hand snapped open.

A crimson-red hammer materialized in his palm.

Dark red patterns swirled on its surface, radiating a soul-chilling pressure.

"Teacher Wu… is this it?" Tang Wulin asked softly.

For the first time, Wu Zhangkong's composure cracked—his eyes widened in genuine shock.

Xie Xie gaped. "You… you also have twin martial souls?!"

Wu Zhangkong quickly regained his calm—but his voice now carried barely concealed excitement.

"This… is the Hao Tian Hammer. Tang Wulin—where are you from?"

"Aolai City. My father is Tang Ziran," Tang Wulin answered truthfully.

Wu Zhangkong fell into brief silence—then turned serious.

"You two," he said, pointing at Fang Yang and Xie Xie, "must keep Tang Wulin's secret."

"Understood," they replied in unison.

Xie Xie's eyes softened toward Tang Wulin. No wonder he's my friend—truly exceptional!

But then he shot a suspicious glance at Fang Yang. …Does this guy have secrets too?

You know what? Xie Xie wasn't wrong!

"Remember," Wu Zhangkong stressed to Tang Wulin, "never reveal your Hao Tian Hammer lightly. I'll explain why later."

Tang Wulin nodded quickly and retracted his martial soul.

Finally, Wu Zhangkong turned to Fang Yang.

"As for you… your Elemental Flame is clearly no ordinary fire. And that monstrous physical constitution of yours…"

Fang Yang remained serene, simply spreading his hands. "I'm not entirely sure myself."

"Release your martial soul," Wu Zhangkong ordered.

Fang Yang raised his right hand.

A deep golden-yellow flame danced in his palm—so intense the air around it visibly warped.

Wu Zhangkong stared for a long moment—then, rarely, his voice carried a note of awe:

"This flame… its nature is no weaker than Ultimate Fire. In fact, it might even… surpass it."

Fang Yang said nothing.

Of course not! he thought. This is Heavenly Flame! When Heavenly Flame appears—all flames submit!

Suddenly, Wu Zhangkong's eyes sharpened. "Your terrifying physique… could that also be a bloodline power?"

Fang Yang merely smiled—neither confirming nor denying.

Beside them, Xie Xie's jaw dropped. He looked at Tang Wulin, then at Fang Yang—and suddenly felt his precious twin martial souls weren't so impressive anymore.

His eye twitched as a single, devastating thought hit him:

"So… I'm the weakest one here?!"
