Late at night, the doors to the banquet hall finally opened.
Ross carried the seemingly unconscious Sora and walked slowly out of the banquet hall.
Before he could take more than a few steps, Judge appeared in front of him, his face ingratiating:
"Your Highness, I have prepared a place for you to rest. I will have someone take you there immediately."
Judge spoke with bowing and scraping, giving a wink to the maid behind him.
Ross glanced at Judge and continued walking forward. The maid naturally stepped forward to lead the way for Ross.
Throughout the entire ordeal, Judge didn't even glance at Sora.
Once he was sure Ross was out of sight, Judge dashed into the banquet hall, his face filled with anticipation.
Judge lay on the ground, holding an instrument in his hand, carefully probing forward inch by inch.
Even after searching every corner and even the armrests of the seats, he couldn't find what he was looking for, not even the part that belonged to Sora.
"Damn it... how could there be none... it shouldn't be like this..."
Judge's face darkened, and he muttered curses under his breath.
He was slightly upset that he didn't get what he wanted right away.
But the thought that if it wasn't here, it must be inside Sora's body made Judge feel much better.
"No rush, no rush. After that prince leaves, I have plenty of ways to get that thing."
As he spoke, he slowly got up from the ground, dusted himself off, straightened his clothes, and then turned and left on his own.
However, from the moment he stepped into the banquet hall until he quietly left, he never noticed that a figure was hanging upside down on the beam, playing with a Video Den Den Mushi, like a ghost in the night.
"It's truly ugly..."
Gion chuckled softly, and then her form began to change, transforming into a tiny, blood-red bat. The bat spread its wings, flicked them gently, and disappeared into the night, swiftly flying away in Ross's direction.
On the other side, Ross, led by a maid, arrived at another snail boat next to them.
On the back of this enormous snail-shaped ship stood only a luxurious villa, brightly lit and extravagantly decorated. The villa's exterior was resplendent in gold, and every detail exuded luxury and prestige; one glance was enough to tell that it was the residence of distinguished guests.
"Your Highness, this is the residence prepared for you by the master. You are welcome to use everything in the house as you wish," the maid explained respectfully and humbly.
"Okay, you can go now."
Ross waved for the maid to leave and carried Sora into the villa.
There were no electronic devices or surveillance equipment in the entire villa. Judge was a smart man and wouldn't do anything foolish under uncertain circumstances.
"Okay, stop pretending to be asleep."
Once inside the villa, Ross pinched Sora's pretty nose.
"Waaah..."
Feeling the urge to breathe, Sora shifted uncomfortably and opened her eyes.
However, her once bright and shy eyes now seemed somewhat empty.
Everything that happened today was too surreal for her.
True despair was nothing more than this.
Seeing Judge waiting at the door, with her intelligence, how could she not realize that Judge's actions at the banquet were all to make her willingly serve Ross?
Judge, driven by his own selfish desires, actually treated her as a gift.
To outsiders it was just a joke, but Sora, as the person involved, felt that the whole world had turned gray.
Why punish yourself for other people's mistakes?
Seeing Sora's heartbroken expression, Ross slapped her hard.
The sudden force sent a sharp pain through Sora's lower back. She jolted awake, snapping out of her daze, and turned to Ross, asking:
"Your Highness, you..."
Sora was eager to know Ross's attitude. Since she could see it, Ross must be able to see something too.
Just as she wouldn't disobey Judge before, she wouldn't disobey Ross now, no matter what answer Ross gave her.
She had just given herself to Ross, and the pleasure was indescribable, but it was definitely the happiest experience of her life.
"You're very charming, so I don't mind using some tactics. But precisely because you're so charming, I'll make you do it willingly."
Ross smiled and gave Sora a vague answer.
Although the answer was vague, Sora understood it, and a look of confusion appeared in her eyes.
She didn't care whether Ross knew about Judge's plan; all she cared about was whether Ross liked her and whether he also wanted her to be his slave.
Ross's answer was enough for her.
Perhaps it was the aftermath of the incident that clouded her judgment, or perhaps it was a self-rescue attempt after experiencing despair.
Sora didn't want to delve into it; she just wanted to stay quietly in Ross's arms and enjoy this moment of peace.
The next day, early morning.
Ross woke up from his sleep and could clearly feel the soft body in his arms.
Thinking of how Sora had personally fed him when he was hungry last night, Ross couldn't help but smile.
"Your Highness, you're awake?"
A soft, sweet voice came from his arms. Ross lowered his head and met Sora's beautiful blue eyes.
Compared to Sora who was slightly drunk yesterday, Sora seemed more shy and reserved today.
"You're awake. You look great."
Ross gently reached down with his right hand and stroked Sora's golden hair.
Sleep is not a necessity for him now, but after a good meal, holding his beloved and getting a good night's sleep is undoubtedly a very comfortable mental enjoyment for him.
"I slept pretty well last night."
Sora blushed slightly when she finished speaking, looking a little awkward.
Yesterday, she was emboldened by alcohol, but today she is completely sober. Even though she has already decided that she is in love with Ross, she still feels a little uncomfortable saying such things.
After all, she slept in Ross's arms all night yesterday and said she slept well, which means she really enjoys sleeping in Ross's arms, right?
"If you like it, that's fine."
Ross laughed heartily, completely unconcerned about Sora's shyness.
Seeing this contrast always piqued his interest.
After spending another two hours in the bedroom with Sora, Ross finally took Sora's arm and led her out of the room.
Gion had been waiting for a long time in the living room.
"Didn't Judge extract Vegapunk's brain today?" Ross asked.
"He's conducting a brain knowledge retrieval experiment today, saying it's to ensure that the knowledge in the brain isn't damaged," Gion explained.
While she's with Ross, Zephyr and Stella will be watching over her at the lab, so there's no chance of anything going wrong.
Judge is an ambitious man, but Zephyr is also a seasoned veteran. Whether it's strength or experience, he can easily handle Judge.
