The Celestial Hunt lasted for three whole days.
Because Ross and Shamrock killed so quickly, the World Government released several more waves of pirates and slaves to allow the other Celestial Dragons to have more fun.
But even if all the people sent to the island in these rounds were combined, they still wouldn't have killed as many as Ross did in just one hour.
However, taking advantage of this incident, Ross made another request to Saint Mars.
When he returns from Wano Country, he can go to the sixth level of Impel Down and take away three people.
"Saint Ross, the people Zane sent have arrived, and I have already sent them away."
On the day the Celestial Hunt ended, Gion entered the cabin where Ross was.
When Shamrock and Garling left, they didn't care about Gunko and Yvette's lives at all, and according to the bet between the two sides, the two of them belonged to Ross from that day on.
How have they been doing these past few days?
They were just two extras, and Ross had no intention of contacting them these days. The key was that the two were not even 14 years old, and he had no interest in young children.
"He's fairly honest, but his personality might change drastically after being abandoned," Gion said.
"Let Zane worry about it. No matter what her mood changes, she can't be kept in the dark."
Ross seemed indifferent. He'd use it if it worked, and get rid of it if it didn't. It wasn't irreplaceable.
"Zane hasn't had much rest lately. The last time I spoke to her on Den Den Mushi, she was saying she didn't have any holidays," Gion chuckled.
"Once things are settled in Jaygot District, give her a full vacation."
Ross couldn't help but chuckle. Jaygot District had just been established, and he was completely out of the loop, so Zane had to handle the matter.
"Oh, right, there's one more thing you should contact The Holy Land Mary Geoise about."
"Please speak."
Gion's expression became slightly more serious.
"The city being built over Reverse Mountain will initially be called Reverse Mountain City. The Saint Mars Holy Church will allocate 30 million laborers to build the new city. I hope construction will begin within six months, and that the architects from Mary Geoise will provide the blueprints," Ross said.
"Are there any requirements for the new town?"
"Yes, there is one main city and five satellite cities. The satellite cities are built along the passageways between the Four Seas and the first half of the Grand Line, while the main city is built at the very top of Reverse Mountain. The total area is designed to accommodate 50 million people, and it can be built with either skyscrapers or low-rise buildings..."
Ross stated his demands, and Gion took out her notebook and began to write them down.
Gion's talent lies almost entirely in her physical abilities; her writing skills are limited to simply being able to write.
However, Ross didn't require her to know these things; she only needed to relay his instructions.
Ross thought they still needed a secretary.
Ross looked at Gion, who was already dizzy from listening, and couldn't help but sigh inwardly.
The only people he could currently rely on were Rouge, Stella, Zephyr, Zane, and Gion.
None of these five people were clerks; Stella and Rouge at most served him in his daily life, while Zephyr and Gion were simply brutes.
Zane's abilities were quite good, but he needed Zane to help him guard the rear.
Among the people around him, Nico Robin and Nico Olvia were capable, but he didn't trust them.
Ross wasn't that crazy; he had just destroyed their hometowns and friends and family, and then turned around and treated them as his close confidants.
The most suitable person to be his secretary should be Zane from the future CP9, but unfortunately she was only 5 years old that year, so they had to wait at least 15 years.
Bru…Bru…!
Suddenly, the Den Den Mushi (snail phone) on the table rang.
At the same time, Ross, through his Observation Haki amplified by 'Listening to the Sea', saw that the Den Den Mushi of Saint Mars, Saturn, and Zephyr were ringing simultaneously.
"It seems something serious has happened."
Ross raised an eyebrow, signaling Gion to connect to the Den Den Mushi.
"This is Zane."
The Den Den Mushi transformed into Zane's face, and her voice now carried a solemn tone:
"According to CP0 insider intelligence, CP0 member Stussy killed her CP0 colleague from the Jaygarcia family and defected. Her whereabouts are currently unknown."
"Stussy?"
Upon hearing the name, Ross jumped to his feet.
He knew something serious had happened.
There was one thing he only remembered after hearing the name.
In CP0, Stussy was the first clone created by the MADS organization, which was an illegal scientific research team led by Vegapunk and disbanded after Vegapunk was recruited.
In other words, Stussy was Vegapunk's person from beginning to end.
There could only be one reason why Stussy would defect: to rescue Vegapunk.
"I'm going out for a bit. You talk to Zane about the Reverse Mountain City."
After Ross finished speaking, he walked straight out the door.
If Vegapunk left alive, even if he wasn't the one who let him escape, he'd still be responsible for cleaning up the mess.
After all, he was the one who instigated this whole thing in the first place.
When Ross reached Mars and Saturn, they had already hung up the Den Den Mushi and were looking at him at the same time.
"You've already guessed what happened? Vegapunk ran away."
Saint Mars's face was gloomy, and he stared intently at Ross.
He wouldn't care at all if Vegapunk died.
But if someone escaped halfway through, then this would have a significant impact on the World Government.
God knows what new technologies Vegapunk had been researching these past few years. If these technologies fell into the hands of pirates or other large member states, they could really have an impact on the World Government.
"I will take responsibility for this," Ross said coldly.
Since he proposed the murder plan, he would take full responsibility for it.
"Yes, kill Vegapunk as soon as you see him. As for Stussy, capture her alive if possible, otherwise kill her," Saint Saturn said in a deep voice.
For him, Vegapunk running away was a minor matter, but the fact that there were Vegapunk's people in CP0 was something they could not tolerate.
Now he actually thought that Ross was right to deal with Vegapunk.
There were Vegapunk's people in CP0, and who knows how badly the World Government would be infiltrated in ten or even twenty years.
Moreover, all of Vegapunk's technologies might have hidden dangers.
"Understood."
Ross quickly agreed to the matter. The matter was settled, and he wouldn't take the blame, but he would be responsible for cleaning up the mess.
Vegapunk needed to be dealt with immediately, and if Stussy could be captured alive, she would most likely be executed or enslaved as a typical example.
Bru…Bru…!
Before they could finish talking about Vegapunk, Saint Mars's special Den Den Mushi rang again.
"It seems like everything has happened at once."
Saint Mars suddenly laughed. He had only come out to take charge of the Celestial Hunt, but he hadn't expected so many things to happen.
Unless it was something important, there was no need to use this special Den Den Mushi to make contact.
However, no contact came to Saint Saturn, which suggested that it was a matter under his jurisdiction, or perhaps it was a contact from one of the other Five Elders.
Ignoring the presence of Ross and Saturn, Saint Mars chose to answer the call directly.
He wanted to see what big event had occurred this time.
