Commoner
No title. Citizens, farmers, merchants, adventurers.
Baronet
A low hereditary title, sometimes used as a stepping stone into nobility.
Knight
Granted by service or merit. May own no land or only a very small estate.
Baron
Controls a town or small territory. Often the lowest land-owning noble.
Viscount
Oversees multiple baronies or a large region under a count.
Count
Ruler of a county. Significant political and military power.
Margrave
Governs border territories (marches). Often militarized regions.
Duke
Ruler of a duchy. Just below royalty. May command multiple armies.
Grand Duke
Above dukes, often ruling semi-independent realms.
King
Sovereign ruler of a kingdom.
High King(optional, for alliances)
A king who rules over other kings or a united realm.
Emperor
Supreme ruler over multiple kingdoms or empires.
Authority surpasses all kings.
