Above the East Blue!
Admiral Kizaru, with Momousagi and Chaton in tow, had just fled Orange Town. To avoid drawing attention, they didn't even use a Marine warship—instead, they escaped in a tiny skiff.
Chaton: "Boss… you've only just been promoted to Admiral. If what we did today in Orange Town ever gets out—"
Momousagi: "Gets out? What gets out? What did we do? Orange Town? Where's that? We've never been there."
"We were simply cruising around the East Blue and found absolutely no trace of the world's most dangerous rookie pirate, Tsuneo.
That's all."
"Ah!!!"
Chaton froze on the spot. Meanwhile, Admiral Kizaru's eyes lit up. He immediately mimicked Tsuneo's earlier tone:
"Beautiful."
With a subordinate like Momousagi—graceful, sharp-minded, and perceptive—Kizaru truly felt blessed. It must have been karma from a previous life.
Chaton: "Boss… then what do we do now? Return to Marineford and report to Fleet Admiral Sengoku? Mobilize forces to capture Tsuneo?"
"No, no, no."
Kizaru waved his hands repeatedly.
"Let's put Tsuneo aside for a moment. Didn't you see his crew? Every single one of those so-called 'underlings' is a top-tier monster."
"It's pointless. Even if we mobilize half the Marines, there's no guarantee we could take them down."
"Yo, yo… since that's the case, why don't we just tail them quietly?"
"Isn't our mission to secretly observe them anyway?"
Chaton: "Ah? Boss, you mean… we're not going back to Marineford?"
"Yo, yo—Momousagi, Chaton—why rush back? Once we return, it's endless missions one after another."
"Why not just follow Tsuneo's group from the shadows?"
"Do a bit of sightseeing."
"Isn't that much nicer?"
"Besides… I'm genuinely curious what kind of chaos Tsuneo and his crew will stir up next. Just thinking about it is fun."
At that, Marine Goddess Momousagi suddenly frowned and snorted coldly.
Momousagi: "Boss, if I'm not mistaken… you just want to see how many other powerhouses will end up getting humiliated by Tsuneo—so you won't feel so bad yourself."
"Yo, yo… sharp as ever, Momousagi. You saw right through me."
Kizaru chuckled helplessly, his trademark lecherous grin returning.
...
At the same time
Back in Orange Town, even Admiral Kizaru had fled in panic. One could only imagine how chaotic Buggy's state of mind was right now.
[Quartermaster] Kakuzu: "Captain, didn't you say earlier that he was once a crewmate of the Pirate King? That must make him extremely valuable."
In an instant, Kakuzu hoisted another sack and strode forward. Buggy nearly lost his soul.
"H-Hey! What are you trying to do? I was on the Pirate King's ship, sure—but I was just an apprentice! I-I'm really not worth much!"
"Hahaha, Buggy the Clown, stop struggling. I know you were on the Pirate King's crew."
"And I also know your bounty is—"
"Thirty million Beli."
"WHAT?!"
The moment Tsuneo finished speaking, Buggy exploded in shock and roared at the top of his lungs:
"Thirty million?! Don't spout nonsense! My bounty is clearly only fifteen million, okay?!"
"Only fifteen million?"
What a joke.
Tsuneo was a hardcore One Piece fan—of course he knew Buggy's bounty was fifteen million. He'd said thirty million on purpose.
And just like that—Buggy exposed himself.
"Buggy the Clown, you said that yourself. No one forced you."
"Kakuzu, you heard him too. What are you waiting for?"
"Uh!"
Buggy went completely blank.
Shameless! Absolutely shameless!
As a pirate, how could you fight so dishonorably?!
But before Buggy could resist, the eager Kakuzu had already thrown a sack over his head and hauled him onto the ship.
At that moment
Hidan, Deidara, Sasori of the Red Sand, even Orochimaru—several of the Akatsuki elites aboard the ship—cast Buggy mysterious smiles.
They were very interested in his ability to split his body apart at will.
At this moment, Buggy had no idea what kind of inhuman treatment awaited him aboard this ship in the days to come.
Meanwhile, Tsuneo searched Buggy and pulled out a nautical chart. The map clearly marked most of the islands across the East Blue.
Seeing this, Tsuneo was overjoyed.
Finally—a map!
No more drifting aimlessly across the sea, leaving everything to fate.
After that, Tsuneo looked back at Orange Town. It was a tiny island to begin with—and under Buggy's "rule," there really wasn't much worth seeing.
Time to move on and cause trouble somewhere else.
The sky was already growing dark.
They'd have to choose somewhere nearby.
Opening the map
Not far from Orange Town, a particularly intriguing location caught Tsuneo's attention.
It wasn't even a true island
Yet it was far more enticing than one.
Their next destination
Would be there.
