"Received. The target will appear at the tavern soon," Jiang Junyi responded from the shadows. "Wei Long, Leo, report your status."
"I am in position."
"Leo is in position!"
"The first shot is the signal. Proceed according to plan," Jiang Junyi said in a deep voice.
"Understood," both responded in unison.
Silence fell over the communication channel. Beasts always need to lie dormant for a while before hunting.
Meanwhile, the tavern owner in the small town was very happy today. In this godforsaken place, someone had actually bought his tavern outright.
