Jay's POV
The hall had fallen into a silence so sharp it cut deeper than any blade. The fire crackled faintly, the chandeliers trembled from the earlier flicker, and yet the true weight pressing on everyone's chest was the man standing in the spotlight.
Every step he took forward echoed against the marble floor, deliberate, unhurried. As if he owned this moment. As if he had been waiting for years.
My throat tightened. My heart pounded. I knew that stance… those eyes.
But I couldn't bring myself to say his name. Not yet.
Behind me, Keifer instinctively shifted, shielding me. Angelo and Aries stood rooted in shock, their expressions wavering between disbelief and fury. Yuri muttered under his breath, "No way…"
The man's lips curled into a small, knowing smirk. His gaze locked onto mine, piercing, unreadable.
"Long time no see…" his voice was calm, smooth, but heavy with hidden daggers.
The crowd shivered. Section A exchanged panicked looks. Section E stood ready to fight. The CEOs, reporters, and dignitaries had no clue what storm had just entered the banquet hall.
I clenched my fists, forcing myself not to tremble.
This moment… I had feared it.
But I also knew—it was inevitable.
The phantom of my past had finally returned.

The lights flickered again, and before anyone could react, the man's smirk widened.
"Shall we tell them… who you really are?"
Gasps rippled across the hall. My heart froze.
