Chapter 18 — The Grand Reveal ✨
Jay's POV
The car hummed smoothly through the city streets, the night air crisp against the windows. I sat in the backseat, my thoughts swirling. Tonight was the night—the night I would reveal my true identity to the world.
Beside me, Aries was chatting animatedly about the upcoming banquet. "I can't believe the CEO of Crownveil is finally going to be revealed tonight," he said. "I've heard she's incredible—young, brilliant, and already a legend in the business world."
I nodded, a small smile tugging at my lips. "Sounds impressive."
Aries continued, oblivious to the fact that the person he was praising was sitting right next to him. "You know, Jay, you should take notes. Maybe one day you'll be as successful as her."
I bit back a laugh. "Maybe."
As we arrived at the venue, the grandeur of the banquet hall took my breath away. The chandeliers sparkled like stars, and the atmosphere buzzed with excitement. CEOs, reporters, and dignitaries mingled, all eager to witness the unveiling of the mysterious CEO of Crownveil.
I excused myself from Aries and Angelo, slipping backstage to prepare. There, a team of stylists awaited, ready to transform me. The gown was a masterpiece—emerald green velvet with intricate gold embroidery, a perfect blend of elegance and power. As I donned the attire, I felt the weight of my dual identity settle upon me.

The Reveal
The announcer's voice echoed through the hall. "Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the CEO of Crownveil."
The crowd hushed in anticipation as I stepped onto the stage. Gasps rippled through the audience as I approached the podium. Angelo, Keifer, and the others watched in stunned silence, their expressions a mix of shock and admiration.
I took a deep breath and began.

Jay's Speech
"When I started Crownveil, I had nothing but a vision and a relentless drive," I began, my voice steady and clear. "I wasn't born into wealth or privilege. I built this empire from the ground up, fueled by the desire to protect those I love."
I paused, letting my words sink in. "Many of you know me as Jay, the chaotic student from Section E. But tonight, I stand before you as the CEO of Crownveil."
The room was silent, the weight of my revelation hanging in the air.
"I owe my success to the people who believed in me," I continued. "To Keifer, who has been my unwavering support; to Angelo, my brother and mentor; to Tita, who taught me the value of hard work; to Aries, who never stopped encouraging me; and to Section e and Percy , who stood by me through thick and thin."
I looked out over the crowd, my gaze meeting each of their eyes. "This isn't just my achievement—it's ours."
The applause that followed was deafening, a testament to the impact of my words.
---
The Tension
As the applause died down, Yumori ( Yuri's grandfather )and Kaizer (keifer's Dad)exchanged glances. Yumori, ever the provocateur, leaned forward. "So, the quiet one from Section E is the mastermind behind Crownveil," he said, his tone laced with disbelief.
Kaizer smirked. "Impressive. But can she handle the pressure of leading such a massive empire?"
I met their gazes, my expression calm. "I don't need to prove myself to anyone," I replied coolly. "My actions speak louder than words."
The tension in the room was palpable, but I stood firm, unshaken.
---
Just as the evening seemed to settle, the lights flickered. Once. Twice. Then, the entire hall plunged into darkness.
A collective gasp echoed through the room. Whispers filled the air as people fumbled for their phones to illuminate the space.
Then, a spotlight snapped on, casting a harsh beam directly onto me.
I stood frozen, the sudden attention overwhelming. My heart raced as I scanned the room, trying to make sense of the situation.
And then, from the shadows, a figure emerged—a figure I never expected to see.
