"OMG!"
Ashley, lying on her side, propped her head with one hand, looking at him with a mischievous gaze.
It was as if she was saying, "See? You were so fierce with me just now, and look at yourself now!"
"What?! What are you looking at? What's with that look?!"
Even though the situation was already like this, Mary still felt a bit uncomfortable being watched. She frowned and asked, "Why are you looking at me?"
Eric was breathing heavily, his chest covered in beads of sweat, making his well-defined muscles appear incredibly smooth and beautiful.
Ashley licked the corner of her mouth: "I remember you saying that Eric isn't your type, and that you like muscular tough guys, right?"
"Isn't this muscular?"
Mary vigorously slapped Eric's chest muscles, making loud smacking sounds.
Watching her actions, Eric suddenly burst out laughing.
"What are you laughing at?" the Olsen Sisters asked simultaneously.
"Nothing, the sound of you slapping my chest – that sound effect is just very amusing."
Whack!
"Shameless!"
Mary's face flushed red, and she continued slapping him while scolding him.
Eric grabbed her hand and, with a slight pull, flipped her over and pinned her down.
Mary laughed non-stop, kicking and struggling with her hands and feet, trying to push Eric away.
"Ashley, help me quickly! Push this monster off!"
"Ashley, hold her down for me!"
Both of them looked at Ashley, who shrugged, then suddenly pressed down on her sister, helping to hold her arms.
"Bastard, why are you helping this guy!" Mary's eyes widened.
"Now, I need to see the results of your life experience."
"blue is the warmest color special screening, action!"
Time continued to move forward. The thick curtains blocked out the sunlight, making it impossible to tell whether it was night or day.
No one knew what the outcome of this development would be, and no one was willing to think about it anymore. Blood rushed to their heads, bringing out their primal instincts, and rationality had long been cast aside.
Now, in the room, only the scent of desire could be detected.
Under the lights, faint shadows were cast on the walls.
Ring!
The urgent ringing of the phone woke Eric. He shook his groggy head.
He checked the time; it was already 9 AM.
Moving was definitely out of the question; it would surely wake the two sisters.
They hadn't sobered up yet and were sound asleep.
"Forget it, it must be the film crew. Who cares, I'm going back to sleep!"
Eric closed his eyes. He still had to deal with Nicole tonight, so he needed more sleep.
To his surprise, Ashley slowly spoke: "Eric, is that your phone?"
"Don't worry about it, sleep, baby!"
Eric gently patted her smooth back.
"Answer it. What if it's something important? Don't delay."
Eric gave a helpless, wry smile: "Look at me now, I can't move!"
Ashley then opened her eyes and noticed that her sister was also holding Eric tightly, just like her.
She said with a smile, "It seems Mary was just lying. What 'not my type'? She just didn't want to admit it."
Eric nodded. If she truly felt nothing, how could she have joined in? She was just pretending to be reserved.
Ashley went to the living room to get the phone, then her fingers traced circles on Eric's body.
"Eric, why haven't you come to the set yet? And Ashley and Mary? They haven't come either. The entire crew is waiting now."
Judy's anxious voice came from the other end of the phone.
Theoretically, Judy should get credit for getting him into bed with the Olsen Sisters.
But his performance last night made Eric remember him; he just dumped the trouble on him and ran, showing no responsibility at all.
Now that he was calling proactively, it was a good time to mess with him.
Eric first made a shushing gesture, signaling Ashley to be quiet.
Then, under her confused gaze, he pretended to be weak and said, "I... I was shot. I'm in the hospital right now, just finished surgery."
"OMG! What happened? Which hospital are you in? I'm coming right over!" Judy instantly shrieked loudly.
"It's... it's all your fault for leaving me alone at the hotel. I told you David is an expert marksman."
"OMG! OMG! Were you shot when you were taking them home?"
"Yes, I was shot in the chest, Judy. I'm afraid I won't make it."
"It's all my fault, it's all my fault! Don't say that. I'll be right there. Wait for me, Eric."
Judy on the other end was almost crying, and her hurried footsteps were clearly audible, perhaps she was running quickly.
"Wait, which hospital are you in? I don't even know which hospital you're in! FUCK! I can't find my car! Where's my car?"
"Hahahahaha, just press the key, and you'll know."
"Right, right."
Then there was a bang, followed by the sound of an engine.
Judy quickly asked, "Eric, which hospital is it, tell me quickly!"
"China's First Hospital. You'll have to fly over."
"What? China? How... Wait, are you laughing? I think I heard you laugh."
"You son of a bitch! Motherfucker!"
After a moment of stunned, Judy's rambling curses immediately erupted from the other end.
Eric hung up directly and called Andrea.
After the call connected, Andrea also asked confusedly, "Director, I just heard Judy say something about a shooting, and then she rushed out. Are you alright?"
"I'm fine, I'm fine. I just wanted to let you know that something important came up, and I can't make it. Ashley and Mary can't come either, it's business related."
"Okay, but if none of you show up, what about the film crew?"
"Take a break. Consider it a half-day off for everyone. We'll be back in the afternoon."
"Okay, Director."
After hanging up the phone, Eric tossed it aside.
This is the advantage of a big company: I can stop work whenever I want. After all, the equipment and props are all mine. I just occasionally use other people's venues.
It can be said that, apart from the actors, almost everything else is company property, even including the staff, with no rental fees.
As for the actors' salaries, extras are paid daily, and the Olsen Sisters' salaries are also very cheap. After all, they are both almost at the point of retiring from the industry, each earning only 1 million US dollars, having signed a 2-month contract.
If this happened to a small film crew, with the director suddenly disappearing and the lead actors suddenly disappearing, the producer would be driven to madness with anger.
He patted Ashley's perky bottom: "Sleep, baby. We'll start work again in the afternoon."
"Wait, don't rush."
Eric's closed eyes opened again: "No way, you're still not full?"
Ashley gently punched him on his handle: "I'm hitting you, you bad thing. I just have a question I want to ask you, and not just me, Mary really wants to know too."
"What question?"
"First, promise to answer seriously, and tell the truth."
"Then I won't promise!"
"You annoying person!"
"Alright, alright, ask away. I promise to tell the truth."
Ashley fluttered her big eyes: "What's your relationship with Aunt Elena?"
"What?"
Alarm bells rang in Eric's mind, and he pretended not to understand, asking.
"Elena Olsen, my aunt. The first time we met in New York, what were you two doing in the hotel the room?"
"Oh."
Eric feigned sudden understanding: "Nothing, just chatting, discussing the development of MGM, loans, funding, and other issues."
"Really? You just swore you wouldn't lie to me."
"Of course I didn't lie to you. We're already like this, do I still need to hide anything?"
"Then why did Mary and I smell something strange at the time, just like this smell now?"
Eric chuckled a few times: "What's the problem with that? That was just a hotel, not home. Besides, the Plaza Hotel now belongs to those bearded guys from the Middle East."
"Arabs, bearded men. I heard they don't pay attention to hygiene. They wear thick clothes to wrap themselves up in 40-degree weather. How could they not have body odor? Ugh..."
"So, with the hotel under their management, it's not surprising to smell anything, don't you agree?"
Ashley stared into Eric's eyes, and after a long while, she nodded: "Okay, I believe you."
Eric breathed a sigh of relief. He passed!
"What a shame, I thought you had an intimate relationship with Aunt Elena," Ashley sighed.
Eric's eyes instantly widened, his mind racing, pondering the meaning of Ashley's words.
"Could she...? No, no, it must be a trap. She's still trying to get information out of me."
Putting on a serious expression, Eric said righteously, "What are you talking about, little silly? Elena and I only have business dealings."
This time, Ashley finally smiled: "That's more like it. I believe you now."
"Phew, you little rascal! Luckily, I'm one step ahead!"
In the afternoon, at the blue is the warmest color film set, the three who had slept until noon appeared. Of course, they didn't arrive in the same car; discretion was still necessary.
Judy looked at Eric with annoyance: "Was that fun? You almost scared me to death! Do you know that?"
Eric smiled at her: "Who told you to leave me alone at the hotel? That's not being a good friend."
"But you had fun, didn't you? You and the Olsen Sisters, right?"
"You're crazy. Am I the kind of person who takes advantage of others? You have no idea how much effort it took me to get them home."
Judy didn't press the issue further. She knew Eric's character; he would definitely not engage in despicable acts like drunk sexual assault.
Pleasurable things require mutual consent. What's the point of a dead fish with no response?
Andrea walked over: "Ready, Director."
"blue is the warmest color, Scene 10, action!"
The clapperboard snapped crisply, and yesterday's scene was reshot.
As the prop team turned on the green light, Mary, arm-in-arm with an extra, walked towards Ashley.
After a few steps, their paths converged. They both seemed to sense something, simultaneously turning to look at each other. A fleeting glance in the crowd felt like an eternity.
Yesterday, the Olsen Sisters were still struggling to find the right feeling, always stiff and awkward when filming this take.
But after the hotel incident, everything changed, not just their relationship with Eric, but also their relationship as sisters.
Everything was different, both physically and psychologically.
"Excellent, that's a take!"
Eric shouted, encouraging the two, and everyone else applauded.
Andrea watched the monitor, where she could clearly see the subtle expressions on their faces.
"That's really good. How did they do it? Look at Mary's eyes. In just one night, they found a way. This is incredibly surprising."
Eric nodded: "That's right. To play a role well, you have to deeply experience it. It seems our method is very effective."
Andrea couldn't help but exclaim, "It's just that the effect was too quick. Those eyes are like lovers. It seems those children's and teen dramas were holding back the Olsen Sisters."
"What?"
"Some actors are naturally suited for certain types of roles. Perhaps this is the path the Olsen Sisters should take. They are geniuses at portraying same-sex relationships."
Eric chuckled, thinking, "This is all thanks to me."
Once their 'Ren and Du' meridians were opened, Ashley and Mary were like martial arts masters who had suddenly awakened. Any scene could be completed in no more than three takes.
Eric didn't hold back either. Seizing their excellent state, he immediately brought out the most difficult part: the breakup scene.
Emma was furious because Adele was in another man's car, and long-accumulated conflicts erupted.
The two quickly recited their lines, their overflowing emotions practically bursting off the screen.
Every expression, every movement, every gaze, and the tone of every word vividly portrayed the state of lovers breaking up.
Beside them, James McAvoy watched the performance in a daze, his eyes wide with shock.
Was this still the Olsen Sisters? Compared to yesterday, they were completely different people.
His inner voice roared: "Did they mix Meryl Streep, Katharine Hepburn, and Greta Garbo together and eat them? How could their acting skills improve so much so suddenly! It's too outrageous!"
Another take passed, and everyone realized that the era belonging to the Olsen Sisters might be dawning!
