Chapter 67 - Chapter 67: Mituo Arrives x Petal Information

Early morning, the sunlight gently sprinkled on every corner of the city.

Kevin woke up from his hotel bed, stretched his body briefly, completed his usual morning exercise, and then headed downstairs.

He walked through the bustling streets, where the roadside stalls were filled with dazzling goods.

Kevin stopped at a stall, bought some local specialty food for breakfast, and then went straight to the city market.

As soon as he entered the market, various shouts and calls filled the air.

"Just arrived clothes, all the latest styles, selling cheap..."

"Fresh fish, just caught last night..."

"Want some treasures? These are all antiques..."

Kevin wandered around the market, and soon came to a shop.

"Yo, little brother Kevin, you're here again."

A dark-skinned, tall and thin middle-aged man greeted him with a smile, Kevin nodded and walked into the shop.

The shop was filled with various ritualistic items, some made from bones and teeth, some from dried internal organs, and others crafted from a mixture of gems and medicinal herbs.

The items in the shop were strange and bizarre; at first glance, it looked like a black wizard's shop.

But for Kevin, this place was a treasure trove.

He would come here from time to time to browse, touching things here and there, hoping to find something that caught his interest.

Coincidentally, sometimes he really did find something, although the feeling of desire was very faint.

As for the origin of these materials, even the boss himself couldn't say for sure; only a ghost would know what animals they came from.

"Nothing new today," Kevin said after looking around the shop.

"Most of my stuff here is old; how could there be new stock every day?"

The boss sat in the shop and rolled his eyes in response.

Kevin didn't mind, looked around one more time, and then left.

Walking on the road, he noticed a few figures.

"Nen Users?"

On normal days, Kevin had developed the habit of using Spirit to observe his surroundings from time to time.

This time, he found that several Nen Users were walking around the street corner.

"It's quite rare in such a remote city," Kevin thought to himself, didn't think about it anymore, and returned to the hotel.

"It's already the twenty-fourth," Kevin thought as he lay on the bed, "Mito should be coming tomorrow."

Actually, Kevin had probably already guessed that there was more to Mito's words about the nomadic tribe.

This wasn't something he deliberately investigated; rather, he had unintentionally overheard a piece of information a few days after arriving in the city.

Around the time Mito sent the message, a "Red-Eyed Devil" appeared in this city.

Moreover, on the way out of the city towards the forest, the "Red-Eyed Devil" had a conflict with some thugs.

Kevin specifically verified this information and learned from the description of the people involved that the ethnic clothing worn by the "Red-Eyed Devil" was extremely similar to Mito's.

However, it was said to be a child; to be precise, it should have been a teenager.

Kevin speculated that this was highly likely one of Mito's tribesmen.

Afterward, he gathered some information about the "Red-Eyed Devil" online and roughly obtained two key pieces of information.

The "Red-Eyed Devil" seemed to be a legend familiar to most continents, or rather, a piece of history.

These people would exhibit red eyes when angry, and for a long period in ancient times, they served as butchers, similar to mercenaries.

With various forms of dissemination, perception, and artistic rendering, they were given the title of "Devil" and subsequently faced discrimination.

And another piece of information was even more chilling.

[The Seven Great Beauties of the World]

These were seven objects with the purest colors said to be the most beautiful in the world.

Among them, the purest red was represented by the [Scarlet Eyes].

When a "Red-Eyed Devil's" eyes are gouged out while in a state of anger, the Scarlet Eyes can be properly preserved and sold for a sky-high price.

To be honest, just hearing about it was horrifying.

Given the atmosphere of this chaotic world, there would certainly be countless people blinded by wealth who would target these individuals, deliberately provoking and killing them just to obtain those precious eyes.

At this moment, Kevin probably understood why Mito was so cautious.

Living in such an environment, anyone would be extremely careful.

The next day, the twenty-fifth, was the day agreed upon with Mito.

Early in the morning, shortly after Kevin woke up, he received a message.

[Mito: I'm downstairs.]

Hearing the news, Kevin walked to the window and looked out, and indeed saw Mito on the street smiling and waving at him.

Kevin came downstairs to the hotel.

"You're here so early?"

Mito just smiled, walked forward with Kevin, and said, "I heard you arrived early, I couldn't let you wait long."

It seems that although Mito's tribe is isolated from the world, they still have their own information channels in this city.

The two chatted briefly, and then Mito got straight to the point: "I've inquired about the kind of petals you're looking for.

Many years ago, we picked them in a sea of flowers around one of our gathering places."

Saying this, he took out a small notebook from his chest and handed it to Kevin.

Kevin took it and quickly flipped through it.

"These are all the gathering places we've stayed at, The old woman is old and her mind isn't very clear, so she couldn't pinpoint exactly which time it was.

So I've written down all the possible addresses for you," Mito explained patiently.

Kevin nodded: "Thanks, I'll go look for them one by one."

To be honest, just looking at these addresses, you could tell they were quite remote.

However, it was clear that although they lived in seclusion in various places and often changed residences, they usually chose locations not too far from cities to obtain some necessities of life.

Therefore, while searching would be difficult, it wasn't insurmountable.

Compared to the importance of obtaining the required materials, this little difficulty was nothing.

"According to my estimation, the first two addresses are the most likely, and the chances for the later ones are relatively small."

Mito was clearly making his estimation based on the old woman's age.

There was nothing to hide about this information, as they were all places they had previously lived and already moved away from.

"Is there anything I can help with? Consider it payment," Kevin asked.

Unexpectedly, Mito shook his head: "No need, you've already helped me a lot before at the Sky Arena."

Especially since Kevin had also taught him some Nen Ability techniques, which at least allowed him to escape a disaster.

Mito knew deeply how rare such powerful abilities were, so how could he ask Kevin for payment again?

"I also wanted to invite you to be a guest at my home, but unfortunately, the elders didn't agree."

A hint of regret showed on Mito's face.

Then, he showed a strange smile and gently nudged Kevin with his elbow: "If you marry a girl from our tribe, maybe you can."

Seeing Kevin's speechless expression, Mito quickly reminded him: "Hey, what's with that look? The girls in our tribe are all beauties!"

At this moment, his face fully displayed the humorous appearance of a middle-aged man.

After a few jokes, Mito became serious again: "I do have a request, but I have to give you this reward first.

That old woman liked this flower very much, so when she left, she took some seeds and planted them not far from this city, a few hours away.

I guess you definitely want to go see it."

Hearing this news, Kevin's spirits immediately lifted: "See! I must go see it!"
