Chapter 60 - Chapter 60 Uninvited Guests with Bad Intentions

The airport.

Kevin got off the airship with simple luggage.

He hailed a taxi and headed towards the hotel he had booked in advance.

On the airship, Kevin had already sensed that someone seemed to be monitoring him.

However, after getting off the airship, that person didn't continue observing, and it was highly likely that someone else had taken over.

The person who had been watching him before hadn't revealed too many flaws; it was just that whenever Kevin appeared in the airship's public areas, that gaze would intentionally or unintentionally fall upon him, as if observing something.

Kevin had also paid attention and observed, discovering that the other party was not a Nen User, unless, of course, they were also skilled at cleverly disguising their Nen.

To the extent of deceiving him.

The car drove all the way to the hotel.

It must be said that this city was more prosperous than any city Kevin had visited before.

Skyscrapers stood tall and dense; although there were no landmark buildings with an exaggerated style like the Sky Arena, there was a wide variety of tall buildings, giving a sense of familiarity as if returning to his previous world.

One should know that even in the city where the Sky Arena was located, there weren't many tall buildings, and the overall style leaned towards ethnic characteristics.

But stepping into Yorknew City was like being in a modern international metropolis.

Information found online showed that this city was indeed an international metropolis, located on the edge of the continent, adjacent to the port.

Inside the hotel room.

Kevin began to look through the various tourist guides and city maps he had obtained from the airport.

"There's actually a large market for minerals and various biological medicinal materials, I definitely have to go check it out."

Looking at the relevant information on the map, Kevin's interest was immediately piqued.

After all, coming to such a large city, exploring these places was one of his goals.

On the other side...

"Today, take Miss to the amusement park to play.

You guys watch her closely for me and don't let her run around."

After Leon finished giving instructions, he got into the car with two of his subordinates.

The car drove all the way to the meeting point.

Leon got out alone and got into the Boss's car.

Subsequently, the convoy headed towards East Third Road; their destination today was a large hotel there.

Along the way, Leon's superior Boss handed him a small document.

Leon took it; the information on it showed the target of this operation—Kevin Rappelberg.

"Today's target is this young man?

And a top student from a medical school?"

Leon asked, puzzled.

The person next to him nodded.

Leon asked again, "So what are we doing this time?

Kidnapping him, or inviting him to join the family?"

The mafia Boss next to him glanced at him, took the cigar from his mouth, and shook his head.

"Neither.

We're just here to convey instructions from above, put a little pressure on this young man, just get the message across."

Hearing this, Leon was even more confused, "Is that the only reason?

Is it considered threatening him?"

He needed to understand the purpose of the mission and the means he could employ, so that he could perfectly complete the task instructed from above.

Only then could he leave a reliable impression and get promoted.

"You could understand it that way, but don't cause a conflict.

Just hold weapons as a show; absolutely don't actually shoot.

It's just to scare him.

Also, instruct your subordinates well.

If he gets hurt, none of us will get away with it."

This was the first time Leon had received such a task.

However, overall, he still understood the intention of this mission.

Soon, the convoy arrived at the hotel's underground parking lot.

After Leon finished relaying the instructions, he followed the Boss onto the elevator.

According to the pre-arranged information, they went directly to the door of a room on a certain floor.

A large crowd densely blocked the doorway, greatly frightening the surrounding tourists, who either detoured or quickly retreated into their own rooms.

Some people had even turned around and run downstairs, preparing to check out.

At this moment, Kevin, who was looking at the tourist brochure inside the room, couldn't help but frown after noticing the commotion outside.

Immediately after, the sound of a key unlocking was heard, and the room door was directly opened.

The Nen on Kevin's body began to gather and surge; he immediately became alert, frowning as he looked at the group of men in suits with fierce expressions who walked in.

After this group of people who looked like gangsters entered the room, they stood in two rows, leaving a passage in the middle.

A black-haired man wearing sunglasses with a scar on his face swaggered towards Kevin, followed by a dark-haired middle-aged man and a burly fellow who clearly looked like a bodyguard.

The newcomers walked to the opposite side of the coffee table, sat down abruptly, and stared intently at Kevin, trying to gain the upper hand: "Let me introduce myself.

My name is Bruto Ritz, the third son of the Ritz family."

Kevin merely glanced indifferently at the people inside and outside the room, finding that they were all ordinary people.

"This hotel's security is really terrible, completely disregarding guest privacy."

Kevin didn't respond to the other party but instead complained like this.

The burly man next to him slammed the coffee table: "Hey!

Didn't you hear him, you punk?!"

He had a fierce and menacing look.

Bruto, however, just looked at Kevin calmly.

At this moment, the seemingly gentle middle-aged man also said with a mild expression, "Sir, I don't think you want any misunderstandings between us, do you?

Why don't you sit down peacefully and have a good talk with our Boss?"

Although his words seemed gentle, they carried an arrogant and threatening air.

"Although I am indeed very curious why you would inexplicably find me, this kind of conversational atmosphere is very annoying to me.

So, I'll give you two options."

After speaking, Kevin smiled and held up two fingers.

"First, you apologize to me, then you orderly queue up and walk out of this room.

After that, I can calmly talk to you about the reason for your visit."

"Huh?!

You little brat..."

A burly gangster wanted to flare up in dissatisfaction.

Kevin ignored him and continued to stare at the man in front of him, saying, "Second, you get taught a lesson by me.

After I've sorted you out properly, perhaps I'll calmly discuss the purpose of your visit with you."

"You arrogant fellow, give me..."

Kevin was unmoved.

"I'll count to 3."

Without waiting for anyone else to speak, Kevin started counting: "3."

"Bang!"

Kevin suddenly struck out, instantly grabbing the head of the arrogant burly man from before and slamming it hard towards the coffee table.

The finely polished stone coffee table was instantly shattered by the impact, and the burly man's head was bleeding profusely; he fainted on the spot.

Immediately after, there was the sound of guns being drawn.

However, before everyone could see what was happening, Kevin had already disappeared from his original spot.

"Ah!"

Only a tragic scream was heard; a gangster was sent flying by a punch, hitting his companions, causing a large number of them to fall down instantly.

A strong malice emanated from Kevin's body, like a natural predator descending, making this group of usually vicious and elite gangster enforcers instantly feel as if their hearts were being tightly squeezed, a wave of suffocation washing over them.

Before they could even react, screams rang out one after another.

In the blink of an eye, all the gangsters' weapons were confiscated, and every single person was knocked down with a single punch.

Throughout the entire process, except for the coffee table, the furniture in the room was not significantly damaged.

"Wait..."

The seemingly gentle middle-aged man was just about to speak but couldn't escape either; he was hit by a casual punch from Kevin, sent flying backward, and fell into the pile of fallen people.

"I am..."

The leading Bruto wanted to speak in terror but was grabbed fiercely by the face with Kevin's palm; his head was throbbing with pain, and his mouth couldn't make a sound.

Kevin lifted his head and violently flung him; Bruto was sent flying backward and crashed heavily onto the television.

The screen shattered, and various component fragments stuck into his body, causing him to let out an even more horrific scream.

Afterward, Kevin dragged him out of the television wreckage and threw him into the pile of people.

"See?

You just had to choose the second option, honestly.

Look at this nice hotel room, made into such a mess."
