CHAPTER 0 : "THE DRAGON THE HEAVENS FEARED"
Silence.
Then—a roar.
It was not the roar of any beast, nor any monster. It was older than mountains, deeper than oceans. A roar that once shook the ancient skies before history even began.
A huge dragon silhouette coiled across the void, shimmering in a scale of black and white, an eclipse in constant rotation. The divine light smote upon its body, yet it merely narrowed its eyes.
Opposite him, floating in space and gold, shining, tall and big, stretched across dimensions like a Law alive-Heaven's Will had appeared.
"Eclipse Dragon…" the deity of heaven spoke, every word a clause of doom, shaping reality a new. "Your existence is a threat to balance. You and your lineage must be erased."
Rumbling, the dragon's voice carried on every word the weight of countless stars.
"Erase me? You are welcome to try."
Chains of heavenly light descended, aiming to seal the colossal dragon forever.
Mountains shattered.
Skies collapsed.
Whole realms trembled.
But the dragon didn't turn back.
It roared-a roar that trembled the void, broke divine chains, swallowed laws, and devoured even fate itself.
Heaven cannot command the dragon to follow a certain course!
The aura of the eclipse exploded outward, consuming all in black and white radiance.
And then—
Everything seemed to fade.
The body of the dragon disintegrated into an infinity of fragments of light, spreading throughout the mortal world like falling stars.
Somewhere, in a far future, one fragment pulsed.
17 YEARS LATER --
LONG CLAN, SOUTHERN BRANCH
A small boy sat bolt upright in his bed.
Long Hao's breath caught in his throat as an invisible pressure began to spread through his veins. The room's temperature dropped instantly. His heart thundered as though it was awakening from a thousand-year-long sleep.
The walls shook.
The lights flickered.
And then—
Initializing.
Long Hao froze.
That voice. it wasn't heard by the ears. It resounded inside his blood.
[Eclipse System Detected.][Host Identified: Long Hao]
[Lineage: Dragon-Eclipse (FORBIDDEN)][Commencing Unsealing…]
A black-and-white sigil appeared above his chest, a miniature eclipse that was slowly rotating, like a cosmic eye.
Long Hao stared.
Not with fear, not with puzzlement.
But in a strange, rising clarity.
"…So this is it," he muttered under his breath.
All along, he was called talentless; all along, the Long Clan had ignored him; all along, even his relatives looked down on him, convinced he carried no trace of the dragon bloodline.
Yet now—a power more ancient than the clan, more ancient than the world, stirred for him.
A transparent interface stretched out in front of him.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
ECLIPSE SYSTEM – ACTIVATED
Talent: Forbidden Eclipse Dragon (Rank: ???)Bloodline State: Suppressed by Heavenly Law
Unsealing Progress: 1%━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Long Hao blinked once.
Then he exhaled slowly.
"So, neither would the Awakening Stone be able to detect it tomorrow."
The system hummed on.
[Correct. Your talent cannot be measured by any known unit of measurement.][It has tried to suppress Heaven. Suppressing it has failed.]
A faint smile tugged at Long Hao's lips.
"Good. Let them laugh tomorrow."
Most would, on learning they had a forbidden talent, cower in terror, fearful of being hunted, afraid of the unknown.
However, Long Hao felt something different.
A stillness. A certainty. The dragon's instinct, buried in his soul.
"Long Clan… The world… Heaven itself…"
His spine straightened, as if stirring an old pride.
"No one is the boss of my destiny except me."
Outside, the clouds darkened without warning-an omen lost on the sleeping city.
The Long Clan elders would shake their heads in disappointment during the Awakening Ceremony tomorrow. Students would sneer. Rivals would mock him openly.
Then, the first dungeon would erupt inside the school.
It would be the day that the whole world laughed at Long Hao.
Yet, it would be the day where the world met the Eclipse Dragon reborn.
The heavens had once trembled before this bloodline. Soon, they would remember why.
Tune in now to find out how his journey go.
