Chapter 218 - The Greatest Teacher of Class 1-D

Time slipped away unnoticed, and six months had passed since the massive 'Great Purge' event in the kingdom.

The situation in the capital was now far more conducive. Alvin, who previously had to hide himself away, could finally breathe a sigh of relief. He was no longer mobbed or harassed by malicious people in the capital, thanks to the strict protection granted directly by Elisa, the Guild Master, and the royal decree of King Nalvon.

Amidst all this, a unique phenomenon occurred in the capital. Most of the residents actually knew Kazien's true identity as the influential figure operating behind the scenes. However, whether out of reluctance or out of respect for the Duke's son's privacy, his identity had not spread widely to the public. Both the adventurers and the capital's residents chose to remain silent, keeping the secret among themselves.

However, the situation was different within the Royal Magic Academy. There, Kazien's true identity remained unknown to the students. To the academy populace, Kazien was merely the handsome son of a wealthy commoner. Only Kazien's relationship status with his three fiancés was enough to cause a stir throughout the academy.

That afternoon, during a break between classes, Alvin looked at his fiancé with a confused expression.

"My Dear, why are we still hiding our true identities in this academy?" Alvin asked, genuinely unable to understand the silver-haired youth's way of thinking. "Isn't the academy already in a stable condition?"

Kazien closed the book he was reading, then looked at Alvin calmly. "The academy might appear to be in a good state." Kazien answered casually. "But, my plan isn't over yet."

"I have no idea what you are planning in your brain." Alvin grumbled resignedly. "You never tell us anything about your plans in detail."

Kazien only smiled faintly, his hand reaching out to stroke Alvin's golden-yellow hair gently to soothe him.

Suddenly, Arken, who was sitting beside Kazien, raised his hand enthusiastically.

"My Huby, the mid-term exams for the first semester are starting soon." Arken said with twinkling eyes. "And after the exams, there will definitely be a break, right? So... during the holidays, let's go on an adventure to another place!"

The suggestion was immediately welcomed by Alvin and Allen.

"I agree with him, My Love." Allen said enthusiastically, a sweet smile blooming on his face.

Kazien nodded slowly, considering the idea. "But, where do you want to go?" Kazien asked to confirm.

"How about we visit every place in the Altavis territory?" Alvin exclaimed without a second thought. "I haven't seen any other towns there besides the territory's capital."

Allen and Arken nodded in agreement with Alvin's proposal. Seeing the enthusiasm of his three fiancés, Kazien finally had no other choice but to agree.

"Alright, we will go to all the places in the Altavis territory." Kazien decided.

He then turned to Erica, who was sitting quietly next to Allen. "What about you, Erica? Do you want to join our adventure?"

Erica shook her head gently. "No, Brother. I want to go back to Lazavis. I want to spend time there and get to know all the Altavis family members better."

"Very well, if that is what you wish." Kazien replied.

After the vacation plans were agreed upon, Kazien's expression turned slightly more serious.

"But before that, there is something more important. For now, let's prepare everything so we can be the top rankers in this academy! I don't want our grades to be disappointing." Kazien exclaimed, encouraging them.

Kazien's firm yet authoritative voice was heard by their classmates in Class 1-D. Hearing his declaration, without needing a command, all their classmates immediately swarmed around Kazien's table.

"Kazien, please guide us!" begged one student with a pleading look. " The magic material lately has been very difficult."

That request was immediately followed by nods and pleas from other students. "That's right, Kazien! Please teach us too!"

Seeing the scene around him, where his classmates were staring with such hope to be taught, Kazien finally sighed softly and smiled. He was willing to spare his time. "Alright, I will guide you all."

From that day on, during every break and after school, the atmosphere in Class 1-D turned into a serious study group. Kazien taught all his classmates with patience. His explanations were coherent, logical, and easy to understand, making complicated materials feel simple. They were all delighted to receive direct guidance from Kazien, the smartest person in Class 1-D.

And finally, the day of the exams arrived.

The first semester mid-term exams were conducted strictly. In the written exam hall, silence enveloped the room. However, unlike the tension that usually prevailed, all students of Class 1-D worked on the questions on their parchment paper smoothly.

Their quills danced without hesitation. All the lessons and tips Kazien had taught were incredibly helpful for answering the tricky exam questions.

However, the real surprise occurred during the practical magic exam.

On the training field, Professor Orlando, who was also a royal mage, observed the Class 1-D students practicing magic circles one by one. Usually, many first-year students struggled or even failed their exams. But this time, every student in Class 1-D performed exceptionally well, neatly, and efficiently.

The supervising teachers looked at each other, astonished by the drastic improvement in quality.

"Amazing!" Orlando praised unconsciously to a group of students who had just finished their exam. "Even though previously you struggled so much to complete this magic circle structure!"

The students smiled proudly, and then one of them answered loudly.

"That's because we studied under the guidance of the greatest teacher!"

"Greatest teacher?" asked Orlando, puzzled, his brow furrowed. "Who?"

Several other supervising teachers became curious about this great figure capable of boosting an entire class's ability in such a short time.

In unison, the students pointed toward a silver-white-haired boy standing casually at the edge of the field.

"Kazien!" they answered in sync.

As a result, the attention of everyone on the academy grounds, both teachers and students from other classes, immediately focused on Kazien.

Silence momentarily blanketed the field. No one had expected that Kazien, who had always appeared calm, harbored such extraordinary intelligence. Both the teachers and other students now realized that Kazien was a true genius. His level of understanding, and his guidance to other students regarding magic theory, surpassed all the teachers in the academy.
