Chapter 211 - The Stormy Revelation: Silver Wings

The living room fell silent. King Nalvon and Felix grew increasingly curious about Kazien's words. But suddenly, the boy with silvery white hair fell silent for a moment.

"Just say it, Kazien! Do you not trust me?" Felix interjected, unable to contain his impatience.

Allen, sitting beside Kazien, looked worried. He gripped his fiancé's arm. "My Love, don't tell me you intend to show them?" Allen whispered, his eyes flashing with disapproval. "Is that a wise course of action?"

"Yes, you're right, Allen!" Kazien replied nonchalantly, though his eyes remained fixed on his two guests. "It is better they know now. They must know so they can immediately prepare for everything that will happen in the future."

King Nalvon and Felix only looked at each other. They truly did not understand where this conversation was heading. Without further warning, Kazien rose from his seat. He closed his eyes for a moment, steadying his breath.

Flap!

In the blink of an eye, a pair of broad, shimmering silver wings unfurled from behind his back. The wings were so beautiful, radiating a sacred yet intimidating aura, filling the room with an ethereal magnificence that defied all logic.

King Nalvon and Felix gasped. Their eyes bulged, and their bodies froze in shock. Felix nearly dropped his cup out of sheer astonishment.

"W-What is the meaning of this, Kazien?" King Nalvon asked, his voice choked. He pointed at the silver wings with a trembling hand. "Why... why do you have wings like that? A-Are... Are you not a normal human?"

Kazien flapped his wings slowly, creating a gentle breeze in the room. He sat back down, allowing his wings to remain spread.

"Your Majesty, do you remember when I was unconscious during the celebration of my engagement to Alvin?" Kazien asked calmly.

King Nalvon nodded stiffly. "Yes, you're right! You fainted and were unconscious for quite a while. What does that have to do with this?"

"At that time, my soul was not in this body. My soul was summoned by Goddess Nirfelia to her realm." Kazien explained in a flat tone, as if he were recounting a common vacation. "And as of now, my status is no longer that of an ordinary human. I am the Messenger of the Goddess, a Demigod, tasked with a sacred mission to destroy the existence of an Evil God who will bring chaos to this world!"

A deathly silence fell over the room. The words "Demigod" and "Goddess Nirfelia" echoed in King Nalvon's ears. Hearing the mention of an "Evil God" specifically made the King turn pale.

"Chaos caused by an Evil God?" King Nalvon finally found his voice, struggling to process information that transcended common sense. "What kind of chaos are you talking about?"

Kazien's face became incredibly serious. "In less than ten years, many dungeons will appear randomly across this entire world! If these dungeons are not destroyed immediately, then monsters like you have never seen before will emerge and destroy this world."

Kazien leaned forward. "That is why I am telling you now. I ask you, Your Majesty, to begin ordering all royal soldiers and adventurers in the Guild to train diligently. Strengthen the kingdom's military, increase the number of mages, and prepare logistics. We must be ready to face that chaos if we do not want the Kingdom of Garveon to fall."

Felix swallowed hard, his face pale at the thought of such a grim future. "Does... does your Father know about this?"

"Of course, Felix!" Kazien answered. "Since I woke up and received this power, I have told my family everything. They have been preparing from the very beginning."

King Nalvon massaged his temples, which had suddenly begun to throb. The weight of the information he had received was immense. However, as a King, he was still confused by Kazien's specific demand for secrecy.

"If this is a matter of the world's safety," King Nalvon said slowly, "why do you ask me to keep this a secret? Would it not be better to announce it so the entire kingdom can prepare?"

"Just imagine if you announced it now, Your Majesty." Kazien interrupted quickly. "'The world will end in ten years because of monsters.' What would happen? Mass panic. The economy would collapse, looting would break out everywhere, and the people would live in terror long before the monsters actually arrived. This kingdom would surely be plunged into anarchy."

Kazien stared sharply into the King's eyes. "At the very least, wait until seven years have passed, and ensure that those foolish and greedy people are vanished from this kingdom. Because Goddess Nirfelia once said that many greedy people will try to hinder us in the future!"

"If those foolish and greedy people are not gone..." Kazien continued with an even firmer voice. "My enemies in the future will not be hordes of monsters inside dungeons, but those greedy humans themselves! But for now, preparations must be carried out under the guise of ordinary military drills."

King Nalvon remained silent, reflecting on Kazien's words and strategy. He nodded slowly, acknowledging the truth in the words spoken by the silver-haired youth before him.

"Very well..." King Nalvon said with a steady voice. "I understand your reasoning. I will keep everything I and my son have heard here a secret. And naturally, I will ensure that all greedy nobles in this kingdom are punished severely according to the crimes they have committed!"

The wings on Kazien's back slowly folded and then receded back into his body. He smiled. He smiled. But this time, it was a relieved smile.

"Thank you very much, Your Majesty! I hope you do not break the vow you made in the name of Goddess Nirfelia. I do not wish for calamity to befall you or your family!"

King Nalvon smiled. "I understand, Kazien."

After the tension regarding the future of the world subsided, the atmosphere in the mansion's living room gradually became relaxed once more. Everyone returned to enjoying the tea and snacks on the table.
