Chapter 152 - The Survivors And the Wasted Coffins

The four assassins were surprised as well as curious about where those objects came from.

Kazien reasoned: "I took them out of my storage dimension space. Put these clothes on quickly or I will cut off your penises right now!"

The threat made them panic. They immediately grabbed the clothes and put them on lightning fast.

After they were tidy, Kazien handed the magic bags to them.

"Inside this magic bag is money for you to buy life necessities! Later I will also order a house specifically for the four of you!"

"A house? For us?"

"Yes. Your colleagues have already been given houses! And for now, the four of you can stay in Zeto's house until your house is ready!"

They were surprised but felt very relieved and grateful. However, one of the assassins raised his hand hesitantly.

"Excuse me, Young Master. For me and him..." He pointed to a blond-haired man next to him. "Please prepare just one house for the two of us."

Kazien frowned. "Huh? Why? I can buy one for each of you. Don't hesitate."

Another assassin representing them answered. "Those two are still 19 years old, Young Master. However, they love each other as lovers and have committed to live and die together forever. They don't want to be separated."

Kazien fell silent. He stared sharply at the young couple. His gaze was inquisitive, making the couple swallow nervously in the narrow room.

"Hmm, I see..." mumbled Kazien.

"Alright!" decided Kazien with an authoritative tone. "One house for the two of you. But, after Borris's funeral is finished this afternoon, you two must come with me to the mansion!"

The two of them were a bit scared after hearing Kazien's firm words, worried they would be judged, but still obeyed his order.

"Y-Yes, Young Master."

Not long after, a soft groan was heard. Zeto began to regain consciousness from her faint. Her eyelids fluttered, then slowly opened, adjusting to the light of the room.

The first thing she felt was a dull ache at the back of her neck. She sat up slowly, wincing while holding her nape.

"Ugh..."

Her consciousness began to fully return, and she immediately remembered who had hit her. She turned quickly towards Kazien who stood not far from her with a guiltless face.

"Young Master," protested Zeto with a hoarse voice, "why did you hit my neck? Did I do something wrong?"

Kazien sighed, then pointed to the pile of clothes on the floor. "I had to do it, Zeto. I didn't want you to see the four of them naked! It was to protect the sanctity of your eyes."

"Naked?"

Zeto felt confused. She followed Kazien's gaze and spontaneously turned to the other side of the room.

Zeto's eyes widened. Her heart seemed to stop beating for a moment.

There stood four men whom she knew very well. They were wearing clean new clothes, looking healthy, and breathing. They were her colleagues whom she believed had frozen to death.

"Y-You guys..." Zeto's voice trembled. She looked at Kazien with a gaze of horror mixed with sadness. "Y-Young Master, Did you turn them into Undead like Borris? Did you resurrect their corpses?"

Kazien slapped his forehead. "How could I possibly do that to them! I'm not that crazy! Your four colleagues apparently weren't dead. They were just in suspended animation due to extreme cold and suddenly woke up when I wanted to put clothes on their bodies."

Zeto was stunned digesting that information. She looked at her colleagues again.

"Leader! We're alive!" exclaimed one of them while smiling awkwardly.

Zeto finally understood why Kazien had suddenly made her faint earlier. If she had remained conscious, she would have definitely seen the sight of four naked men who had just risen. Zeto's face turned red imagining it.

"I understand..." mumbled Zeto, then a relieved smile bloomed on her beautiful face. "Thank you, Young Master. This hit on the neck means nothing. At least I feel very happy because the four of them didn't die. This is the best news."

However, Kazien looked grumpy instead. He kicked lightly at one of the wooden coffins he had painstakingly made using creation magic earlier.

"That's exactly the problem, Zeto!" complained Kazien. "What about all these coffins I've made? I made them with good detail, the right size, sturdy wood. Everything went to waste because they came back to life!"

Seeing his master's annoyed expression lamenting the unused coffins instead of being grateful, Zeto couldn't hold back her laughter.

"Pfft..."

The laughter finally exploded.

"Hahaha! Hahaha!"

Zeto laughed out loud in front of Kazien. A free, unburdened laugh, removing the cold killer aura usually attached to her. This situation was too ridiculous for her because there was a powerful nobleman complaining about failing to bury people.

Seeing Zeto laugh, Kazien's annoyance slowly faded. He smiled faintly. Although feeling annoyed about the coffins, Kazien felt relieved to see Zeto's human side. I hope there will be no more awkwardness between us. That laughter is a good start.

After the laughter subsided, Kazien returned to serious mode. He stared at the four assassins who had just risen from the dead.

"You four! Take this money!" ordered Kazien while handing over magic bags containing gold coins. "I don't want to hear any refusal from you! Use it to recover and buy necessities."

Inevitably, the four assassins accepted the bags containing money given to them with respect.

Kazien then stared sharply at the two young assassins who had asked for one house earlier.

"You two lovers! Come forward!" ordered Kazien. "What are your names?"

The pale blond-haired man answered firmly. "My name is Lovin, Young Master!"

While his partner, the black-haired man standing next to him, answered. "My name is Havel, Young Master!"

"Lovin, Havel..." repeated Kazien. "You remember what you have to do after this, right?"

"Yes, Young Master! We remember!"

"Good. For you two..." Kazien pointed to the other two assassins who were still single. "Tomorrow, go with Zeto to the Merchant Guild. I will buy a house for the two of you there!"

The two assassins felt very happy. They were going to get a house for free from their master's son. The two of them immediately bowed deeply, thanking Kazien very sincerely for his extraordinary generosity.

"And for Lovin and Havel..." continued Kazien. "You come with me to the mansion now."

"Now, Young Master?" asked Lovin slightly nervously.

"Yes. Now!" Kazien then turned to Zeto. "I will go back to the mansion first. Zeto, please tell all your colleagues to get ready to attend Borris's funeral this afternoon immediately. Don't let anyone be late."

"Yes, Young Master! I will inform the others right away!" answered Zeto alertly.

Before leaving, Kazien extended his hand towards Zeto's neck. Warm green light radiated from his palm.

The pain in Zeto's neck instantly disappeared without a trace. Zeto was stunned by that small attention.
