Chapter 80 - Arrived in Capital

Kazien shifted slightly so he could look into Alvin's mint green eyes. "Never. No matter how often I look at your face, not for a single second do I feel bored. Quite the opposite—I want to look at you, and touch your cute face, always!"

Alvin released his grip and looked up at Kazien's handsome features, his eyes warm with affection.

"I never get tired of looking at or touching your handsome face, either. But sometimes," Alvin confessed, his voice dropping to a whisper, "my desire for you... my sexual urges spike the moment I look at or touch your face."

Kazien's breathing hitched slightly. "Is that true? Are you holding back your desire right now?"

Alvin nodded, acknowledging his powerful feelings.

Kazien brought his face closer and kissed Alvin's forehead affectionately. "Be patient, my cute prince. Because in a few years, I will definitely marry you. I will not break the promise I made to you."

"I will keep waiting for our wedding day to arrive." Alvin promised.

Even though he had to suppress the constant surge of his physical desires, Alvin knew he could wait. He had spent nearly a year living with his future husband, and he had come to the unshakable conclusion that Kazien was a man of his word. Alvin knew the character and personality of his fiancé—his promise was as solid as the enchanted walls around them.

Once dry and dressed, Kazien lifted Alvin into his arms and carried him to the bedroom, a simple yet luxurious room. Inside, Kazien immediately wrapped his arms around Alvin's waist and let the high elf sleep on his chest.

Kazien began stroking Alvin's hair with a gentle, hypnotic touch. Alvin sighed, savoring the feeling of the loving gesture against his scalp.

Alvin lifted his head. Slowly, he closed the distance between them.

Mwah!

Kazien felt a deep, intimate kiss on his lips. The kiss lingered, soft yet full of powerful emotion. As he kissed him, Alvin's hands lightly caressed his fiancé's face.

But Alvin abruptly pulled back, his eyes widening as he recognized the distinct quickening of Kazien's breath and the sudden tension in his body.

Wait, this is getting dangerous, a wave of cold sobriety washing over him. Why is he getting aroused like this? I don't want my future husband to break the oath he made. I have to stop and sleep immediately!

"My love, good night..." Alvin whispered softly.

Kazien swallowed hard, his sapphire blue eyes sparkling and feeling a little relieved. "Yes, my cute prince, good night to you too."

Alvin rested his head on Kazien's chest, shut his eyes, and feigned sleep. Kazien, still awake, pulled him closer, running his fingers gently through Alvin's golden-yellow hair, trying to coax him into a deep slumber.

This my cute prince is a truly difficult future wife! Kazien thought, sighing internally. My desire was so close to overwhelming me. It seems he realized my arousal was spiking. Good thing he stopped the kiss immediately. If he hadn't, I don't know what would have happened tonight.

The next morning, Kazien woke to find Alvin already awake, his face mere inches away. Alvin greeted him with a soft, affectionate kiss.

"Good morning, my dear." Alvin greeted him gently.

"Good morning to you too, my cute prince." Kazien replied, his voice still thick with sleep.

He sat up and gave Alvin a more robust kiss. "Alvin, let's get ready quickly! We will arrive at the capital soon."

Alvin immediately got out of bed and pulled two sets of fresh clothing from the wardrobe.

After they were dressed, Kazien turned to him. "You should just sit in the main living area, and I will pretend to be driving the horse from the coachman's seat."

Alvin nodded in agreement. The deception was necessary to maintain the secrecy of their unusual home.

Alvin walked toward the living area. Kazien, meanwhile, headed toward a small, disguised door near the galley kitchen.

Creak!

The door opened. The moment Kazien stepped across the threshold, he found himself seated discreetly behind the coachman's main seat. In the distance, he could already see the towering, formidable wall that encircled the Capital City.

It's strange that we haven't encountered a single monster on the way to the capital! Kazien mused, a prickle of unease running down his spine. This feels odd. There should be at least a few low-rank monsters lurking around the forests and the main road. But I haven't detected any for miles. I hope nothing sinister is waiting for us in the capital.

As they arrived at the grand entrance gate of the capital, two soldiers on guard duty approached the coach.

"Please show us your letter of introduction or your identity card!" one of the soldiers commanded formally.

Kazien handed over his academy student registration documents—a formality required for anyone entering to study.

Upon seeing the high-level student document and recognizing the prestigious name, the soldier immediately returned the paperwork.

"Please proceed with your journey, young master! But why do you approach the capital without an escort?"

"I don't require one," Kazien answered firmly, his tone dismissing the need for further discussion. "I can protect myself from any threat that attempts to jeopardize my safety. Here is my other identification card!" He handed over his adventurer's license.

The soldier took the card and read the details. His expression instantly shifted to one of profound shock as he stared at the card in his hand.

He's an S-Rank Adventurer, and he's still this young? Incredible! Truly remarkable!

"The card states you have a party. Where are your party members, young master?"

"He is inside the carriage." Kazien said, his eyes warning the soldier to tread carefully. "But you are not allowed to enter without permission, as this is our house!"

The soldiers exchanged confused glances. The claim seemed absurd; they saw only an ordinary carriage pulled by a single horse.

"House? Isn't this just a carriage pulled by a horse?" the soldier asked, utterly bewildered.

Kazien sighed, realizing he needed to quell their suspicion quickly. "I will permit you to enter. But you must never speak a word about what you see inside!"
