Chapter 70 - Birthday Present (2)

Alvin leaned back against Kazien's chest, the tension of the last six days finally draining away. He paused, his smile growing cryptic. "Do you really want to know?"

"Of course I really want to know! I need to know so I can prepare the best gift for you too, my cute prince!" Kazien replied while stroking Alvin's golden-yellow hair.

Alvin laughed, a clear, bell-like sound. "Actually, I was born on the 27th of the seventh month, 877th of the Nirfelus calendar. Just like you. Hehehe."

Kazien froze. The implication hit him like a physical blow, yet it wasn't painful; it was exhilarating. He realized their birthdays were the same, and he erupted into loud, unrestrained laughter.

"Hahaha!"

Alvin pinched his side playfully. "Why are you laughing like that? What's so funny?"

Kazien shook his head, still grinning. "Hahaha. I can't believe we have the same birthday! The very same day! No wonder you and I have such similar traits and personalities! The same drive, the same passion, the same… intensity. But there's just one striking difference between us."

"And what is this grand difference, my dear?" Alvin asked, raising a challenging eyebrow.

Kazien leaned in conspiratorially. "I can control my sexual desire, but you… you often can't!"

Alvin pinched Kazien's cheek hard enough that the duke groaned in pain.

"Ouch! It hurts! Stop that! Don't pinch my cheek like that, Alvin!"

"It's your own fault for saying something you shouldn't have!" Alvin retorted, though his eyes were sparkling with affection.

Alvin immediately softened, leaning his head back onto his future husband's right shoulder. He then said, quietly and sincerely: "At least until today, we have always complemented each other's shortcomings. Your stability balances my chaos. Your control balances my… intensity."

"Yeah, you're right." Kazien said, wrapping his arms securely around the high elf. "That's why I'm very happy to be your fiancé! You make me a better man."

"And I'm also happy to be your fiancé, my dear!"

"But I feel a little disappointed because I didn't have time to prepare a birthday present for you."

"I don't mind, my dear." Alvin replied softly. "The gift you gave me is far more valuable than anything else."

Kazien just stayed silent and hugged Alvin even tighter. But Alvin's mind wandered. He thought wild thoughts about his future spouse's penis, which was erect beneath his skin.

And the fact that they had the same birthday was a very unexpected and wonderful surprise. Neither Kazien nor Alvin had ever imagined that their birthdays would coincide so perfectly.

Now, standing on the precipice of their married life, they both firmly believed that their destiny had been carefully planned, woven with threads of shared starlight by Goddess Nirfelia herself, the deity of Fate and Fortune.

The discovery strengthened the bond between them, making it stronger than any blood oath. Uniquely, they did not need to choose which one of them deserved the biggest birthday celebration; they could celebrate it together, forever bound by the twenty-seventh day of the seventh month.

The festive atmosphere grew even more lively. While still soaking in the tub, Alvin took something out of his dimensional storage space—two objects. He lifted them up, their shiny surfaces reflecting the steam and soft light of the bathroom lamps.

Both items are a pair of beautiful and delicate gold bracelets, crafted with high elven aesthetics: intricate, swirling designs that seem to capture the essence of wind and sunlight. The gold is clearly of the highest purity, yet it glows with such a dazzling light, revealing the subtle charm embedded within

Kazien took one in his hand, his eyes wide with profound amazement. The craftsmanship was exquisite, but the magic was astounding. He recognized the signature complexity of Alvin's alchemy magic, where base materials were not just shaped, but fundamentally altered and enchanted during the creation process.

"You were in the library for six days… to make these bracelets?" he asked, a mix of disbelief and overwhelming emotion in his voice.

Alvin nodded, his broad smile finally reaching a point of deep calm. "These two bracelets are made of pure gold, but I have used the Binding and Repair Spell. And these two bracelets will never tarnish or break, symbolizing our bond."

"Wow! Alvin… this bracelet is so beautiful! The most beautiful thing I have ever owned! I love it!" Kazien declared, unable to hold back his emotion.

Alvin held out the first bracelet. "My dear, wear this one. It is for you."

Kazien took the bracelet and placed it on his right wrist.

The bracelet automatically adjusted its size, the delicate gold circlet tightening by a millimeter until it rested perfectly and comfortably against his skin, a testament to Alvin's precise magic.

"Hahaha. I never thought you could make a bracelet like this, Alvin! An enchanted, self-sizing, life-saving gift! I am so incredibly proud of you, my talented fiancé!"

Alvin held out the second bracelet, his eyes gleaming. "My dear, please put it on for me too. I need your hands on it to set the final enchantment seal."

Happily, Kazien took the second bracelet and carefully placed it onto Alvin's right wrist.

As the bracelet sealed around Alvin's slender wrist, they spoke the words at the exact same instant, a perfect resonance of voices and hearts: "Happy birthday!"

The words were followed by a long, deep, and satisfying hug, a hug that sealed the promise of their shared destiny, their shared past, and their shared birthday.

In the bathroom, Kazien and Alvin enjoyed their intimate moment together. Alvin, sitting on Kazien's lap, hugged his future husband tightly. And Kazien returned his future wife's warm embrace with a smile full of happiness.

His lap and his embrace made me feel so comfortable and peaceful. Being in his arms while sitting on my future husband's lap was the most calming and beautiful moment.

The next day, Alvin's birthday, which was miraculously the same as Kazien's, was an event that electrified the entire Altavis family.

The news of the coincidence spread quickly. The family, who had gathered for the occasion, immediately began to wish them both a happy birthday.

Even a beautiful birthday letter, full of heartfelt wishes and promises of a visit, arrived a few days later from Virena, Kazien's older sister, solidifying the importance of this unique, shared date of birth. It was the most perfect birthday either of them had ever experienced.
