Normal POV

[Loop x36]

A barely suppressed gasp escapes my lips a new reset has been started.

My ears twitch at the sound of Flat speaking but at the moment I was too busy contemplating on what I could do to stop both of us from dying again.

Taking Eins on in combat again to be frank was impossible and even then, I could tell he was still holding back.

Damn just what the hell could I do.

I am so God-damn useless as always! I cursed feeling tears well up in my eyes.

[You are acting like a fool A҉l҉d҉e҉b҉a҉r҉a҉n҉. If the chance nearing zero can be made into one you possess the method of turning that one into the very first one. After accumulating numerous defeats that is why I shall deliberately bestow these words upon you again. There is nobody who can beat you, you whom I created.]

Oh, joy that damn voice was back in my head, guess I really have gone insane from the 35 times I've died.

Despite the inner dread I felt at hearing the voice again I felt oddly...comforted.

I had to admit the W҉i҉t҉c҉h҉ was right I had the potential to beat that freak Eins.

There was only one thing holding me back right now that I hadn't thought of until this point.

Adapting and dying to get the upper hand mid fight.

Death still scares me though.

That fear is the only thing holding me back.

To do this means to also update the Domain-Matrix point each time midbattle. Instead of keeping it here in my safe spot.

My knives were useless and would end up shattering against Eins own weapons.

So, my best bet is to simply create more spells that work to my advantage.

But first I needed to get rid of my fears or at least suppress them for the time being. I thought briefly recalling the lecture Waver gave on self-hypnosis.

If I can strongly hypnotize myself deeply enough to the point where I don't feel or fear dying then...I'd win I grimly thought.

I glanced up to see the familiar streetlights of the park flickering.

30 seconds left until Eins appears singing that damn stupid song.

I have to do it now!

Closing my eyes I switched open all 25 of my circuits catching Flat off guard as he opens his mouth to ask what I was doing.

'Computer Sequence Code: Open!"

The familiar empty blue box appeared in my mind's eye again.

Input Sequence:

I didn't think about bravery.

That would've been dishonest.

Courage implies resistance.

Resistance implies fear still exists.

That wasn't what I wanted.

What I wanted was simpler.

Distance.

Not from danger.

From the feeling of danger. The feeling you get when you know something can kill you and your body screams that truth before your mind can speak.

I imagined that scream fading far away in my mind

Conceptual Alignment:

My current definition of fear is anticipation of an ending.

And death is not a phenomenon it is simply the recognition of finality.

So the spell did not target fear.

It targeted my recognition of it.

Sephirotic Mapping Sequence:

This could not involve Gevura.

Judgment would sharpen fear.

It could not involve Hesed.

Mercy would dull pain, not meaning.

Instead, the flow resolved inward toward mediation and concealment.

Tiferet → Hod → Yesod → Malkuth

Tiferet — Balance between emotion and reason.

Hod — Interpretation, cognition, narrative.

Yesod — Transmission to the nervous system.

Malkuth — Expression as bodily calm

System Confirmation:

Routing Accepted.

Concept Classification: Attenuation of Mortality Recognition

World Rejection Probability: None (The code does not interfere with the World laws but affects the user's mentality instead.)

Parameter Entry:

Target: Self

Effect Scope: Emotional-Cognitive Layer

Fear Response: Zero

Pain Response: Unaltered

Duration: Limitless (Caster must turn spell off themselves or Caster runs out of mana)

The spell would not grant invulnerability.

It does not remove pain.

It removed my panic and fear.

Command Sequence String: Shin

The spell was casted, and I felt all of my fears and panic simply go numb. When I turned my thoughts towards dying again there was simply nothing.

Just like I expected I thought while clenching my fists.

The mana that was being used to uphold the spell was thankfully minuscule at best.

"Flat, there's no time to explain," why did my voice sound so mechanically when I spoke? I inwardly wondered.

"In about twenty seconds someone will be appearing to kill us both, don't ask me how I just know. This assassin for whatever reason is targeting you only. I'll be engaging him in combat soon and I want you to stay somewhere far where he won't be able to see you but enough where you can provide fire support," I explained just like I've been doing for the past thirty-five times.

[Reinforcement] lines cover up my entire body the moment I start hearing Eins's footsteps and the bounded field instantly trapping us inside.

"GO HIDE NOW FLAT!" I screamed before rushing at Eins and connecting a hard kick to his stomach "[Vita!]" I casted the spell causing Eins body to grow heavier.

Eins was launched back far into a water fountain a bloody grin on his face "oooh my~ I didn't think you'd be anticipating my arrival!" he calls completely ignoring the pain but from the way I can see his arms tremble.

I could tell he was struggling to lift his arms up if only just barely.

Once more I went through the process of inputting and casting a new spell.

Input Sequence:

I didn't think about flying.

I only wanted to lighten my own body weight.

To think of flight means to propulse myself.

Propulsion implies effort.

Lightness doesn't move you upward.

It simply stops insisting that you stop staying heavy.

So instead, I pictured the imaginary figure of Atlas and the relief he might have felt as the weight of the skies vanished.

Conceptual Alignment:

This wasn't about negating force.

Negation invites correction.

This was about reducing emphasis.

That realization caused the structure to resolve on its own.

Sephirotic Mapping:

Hesed → Tiferet → Yesod → Malkuth

Hesed — Mercy, allowance, and expansion.

Tiferet — Balance, preventing loss of control.

Yesod — Transmission of altered rule.

Malkuth — Physical expression as motion.

This wasn't rebellion against gravity.

It was mercy toward the weight being pressed down on my body.

Confirmation:

Routing Accepted

Concept Classification: Reduced Imposed Inevitability

World Rejection Probability: Low-Mid

My spell wasn't breaking a law.

If anything, it was politely asking the World to ease up on me for a certain amount of time.

And the World was to my surprise okay with letting this happen.

Parameter Entry:

Direction: Neutral (Upward bias permitted)

Scope: Self / Target

Reduction Ratio: Partial

Stability: Preserved

Duration: Limitless (Od/Mana dependent on the Caster)

Finally, I placed a hand on my chest "[Murak!]" I chanted feeling my body suddenly lose weight and instead feel light like a feather.

The drain on my mana was thankfully still minimal.

I did a light jump and smiled at how high I went up compared to normal.

With that I set my attention back on Eins who had walked out of the destroyed fountain and started cracking his neck which let out a set of satisfying pops.

His yellows looked at me with glee.

I glared at him and began approaching.

My hands moved rolling my sleeves up to my elbows and unzipping my jacket open.

Step...step...step.

Each step I took was calm and confident until I was finally face to face with the monster.

Eins smirked clearly enjoying this "my who would have thought a prey could have such sharp fangs hehe. So hot shot you want to take me Eins Laphroaig on by your lonesome?" he asked.

I smirked as I carefully "take you on? Nah I wanna kill you," I coldly declared before burying a hard fist into his gut.

Surprised at the force behind my strike Eins couldn't help but spit out a glob of blood.

His body folded as he skidded back digging his feet into the ground with a laugh "ohhh~... now that felt good," Eins purred in delight to the pain that was inflicted on him.

The dent shape of my fist left on his stomach started to fix itself.

So, the bastard also had an insane regeneration factor to?! That's just bullshit I cursed.

Still, I didn't bother saying anything.

I was too damn pissed off.

I moved while Eins got ready to counter my upcoming attack. To which point I mentally updated my checkpoint via [Matrix Redefinition]

Eins lunged.

Again, even when weighted down he was still fast.

His blade kissed my ribs and the world collapsed.

[Reset x37]

I didn't gasp or even feel any of my usual symptoms when returning from death. Instead I pivoted right at the exact moment when Eins was going to lunge.

His blade passed where my ribs had been a loop ago, carving nothing but air.

Eins froze.

Just for a fraction of a second which I took advantage of.

I drove my knee up into his sternum, reinforced mass meeting reinforced bone. The sound was like a car crash inside a cathedral. Eins went airborne crashing through a stone bench in an explosion of dust and marble shards.

"NOW FLAT HIM WITH WHATEVER YOU'VE GOT!" I barked.

Flat didn't hesitate as he popped up from wherever he was hiding and unleashed a compressed spiral of wind and lightning that tore through the air, detonating against Eins' side mid-flight.

The blast twisted him, slammed him into the ground hard enough to crater the pavement.

I landed lightly Murak still in effect.

Eins laughed.

He laughed while pushing himself up, regeneration already knitting torn muscle back together, steam rising from his wounds.

[Matrix Redefinition] once again I updated the check point.

"Ohhh~ this is getting fun," he crooned "it's been a long time since anyone's been able to keep up with me!"

So, he's a battle freak to I mentally thought.

He vanished again.

I died.

A blade right through my spine, nerves severed before pain could even register.

[Reset x38]

"Ohhh~ this is getting fun," he crooned "it's been a long time since anyone's been able to keep up with me!"

Just as he was about to move I did so first.

I mentally open up a new mental computer code sequence.

Input Sequence:

I didn't think in terms of blades.

That would've been wrong.

Steel implies resistance.

Sharpness implies effort.

To Dismantle something means separating an object or thing without resistance or effort.

So, I pictured an invisible slash that could not be seen to the naked eye.

It is something that only the World itself can see and accurately pinpoint.

Conceptual Image:

A surface, perfectly intact.

Then a rule is applied

A declaration "with the gesture of hand moving to slash' an invisible cut seen only by the World is made manifest.

Sephirot Mapping Sequence:

Binah → Gevura → Tiferet → Yesod → Malkuth

Binah — Recognition of separable structure.

Gevura — Enforcement of the boundary.

Tiferet — Precision without excess.

Yesod — Transmission to target space.

Malkuth — Physical manifestation as a "cut" without mercy.

Parameter Entry:

Direction: Defined by User.

Scope: Anywhere (Targets: Individual/Objects).

Thickness: Conceptual minimum (edge-width approaches zero).

Resistance Check: Ignored (boundary supersedes durability).

Duration: Instantaneous (damage merely comes after the result of separation).

Cost: Mid-Amount of Mana.

Command Sequence String: Kai.

"Let's see how you like being decapitated in half asshole!" I exclaimed gesturing my hand into a slashing gesture "[Kai!]"

I straight up ripped off Ryomen Sukuna's own Dismantle technique from Jujutsu Kaisen.

An unseen slash tore through the air that only the World itself could see and register.

Eins' head slid from his shoulders before his body realized it had been separated.

For exactly 0.18 seconds, silence reigned.

Then it happened.

SPLASH!

Blood detonated outward in a violent ring, painting the park crimson as Eins' body collapsed. His knees folding first and torso slamming down like a dropped puppet.

Flat sucked in a sharp breath from across the park "did you get him?!"

The head hit the pavement and proceeded to laugh.

"Ohhh~ that was nasty," the severed head crooned, yellow eyes still very much alive "you really must hate me despite us not having ever met."

I gritted my teeth as his neck boiled.

Muscle fibers writhed like snakes, bone grew, flesh stitched itself together in a grotesque, accelerating blur. Within seconds, Eins stood whole again steam rolling off his body in thick waves.

Only this time he staggered just a half-step.

Just enough for me to notice it.

So his regeneration must cost him something...most likely stamina if I had to guess.

[Matrix Redefinition]

The checkpoint updated.

Eins rolled his neck, breathing heavier now, and grin still sharp but eyes alight with something new.

"Haah... haah... this is the farthest that I've ever been pushed by someone my dear, prey."

"Good," I replied flatly "because soon enough you'll be dead!"

For the first time, Eins' grin twitched.

Not from fear but rather his excitement shifting into that of irritation "ohhh~," he sighed, rolling his shoulders as steam poured from his skin, "you're really starting to piss me off now."

He vanished.

A blade erupted through my chest from behind, splitting my sternum.

[Reset x39]

I was already moving before I could even register that I had just died.

My body pivoted left before the air even displaced.

His eyes widened.

Just barely.

I stepped inside his guard and smashed a palm strike into his ribs, [Murak] shifting into [Vita] at the last second amplifying the follow-through as his mass folded inward like crushed tin.

I lightened the weight on my hand again with [Murak] while mentally keeping track of my mana status.

So far, I still had a good amount left in me for a couple more uses of [Kai] maybe more if I pushed my circuits.

Eins crashed through two trees, bark, and splinters exploding into the night.

[Matrix Redefinition]

Checkpoint updated.

Flat didn't wait.

A hail of elemental artillery soared the air and struck Eins mid-recovery.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The park became a warzone.

Fire stormed earth, glassed stone, and shattered benches were reduced to shrapnel.

Eins roared as the attacks carved into him, regeneration flaring violently to compensate. His muscle reformed along with his organs and bones snapping back into place.

Only this time his breathing was hitched.

Sweat mixed with blood.

"Ohhh... haah... haah...!" he laughed anyway, dragging himself upright. "you're really forcing me to work now boy!"

He disappeared again but my eyes managed to catch a small glimpse of his next move.

Too bad I still wasn't fast enough to react.

[Reset x40]

This time, I didn't dodge.

I leaned into it.

His blade pierced my throat and passed through nothing.

Because I wasn't there.

I moved half a step to the right, timing corrected from the previous loop and slashed my right hand down "[Kai!]"

The slash wasn't aim for his neck.

I aimed it for his hips.

Eins' lower body separated cleanly, legs skidding across the ground as his torso slammed forward.

For 0.12 seconds, gravity won as I quickly casted a new [Vita] on the roach.

Then his regeneration exploded outward like a riot.

Flesh surged, bones erupted, and veins had been rethreaded in violent arcs of steam and blood.

Eins screamed not in pain but in ecstasy "YES! THAT'S IT! KILL ME AGAIN!"

His body finished reforming, but he stumbled.

His knees buckled before his hands hit the ground with a hard thud

Eins coughed violently

[Matrix Redefinition]

Slowly I approached panting from the amount of mana spent and physical combat I just went through.

This body of mine hasn't ever been through such an intense exercise.

If I am being honest, it felt quite invigorating.

Eins suddenly shot up ready to impale his left blade into my throat.

However, I could easily see his movements this time and caught his wrist before twisting it. Which forced him to let go of his weapon.

I headbutted him.

The impact detonated like thunder, cracking his skull and launching us both backward.

I flipped midair, landing lightly as Murak carried me before clutching my skull in agony.

That fucking shit hurt so fucking bad!! I pulled my hand back to see blood dripping over my hands.

Flat fired once more ice spears this time, layered with wind compression.

They pinned Eins to the ground.

He forcefully tore free.

Flesh ripped off his arms as he wrenched himself loose, regeneration roaring to life again.

He staggered.

Panting now.

Steam poured from him like a furnace pushed past its limit.

"How... how?!!" he wheezed, grin feral, and eyes blazing "how are you able to counter all of my moves before I can even do them?! A mere boy cannot compete with an Alpha!"

"Alpha you? Nah man you look like a fucking loser that jerks off to furry p*rn!" I spat out before giving him a shit-eating grin "if you really want know why your losing to me now. It's simply because your stars were bad."

[Matrix Redefinition] I updated the checkpoint once more.

"Why you cheeky brat!" his hand lashed out with a fast punch that snapped my neck.

[Reset x42]

"Your stars were bad!"

I slid under his attack and snapped his elbow backward until bone protruded through skin, then slammed a heel into his jaw hard enough to lift him off the ground.

I followed after with a hard flick from my hand "[Kai!]"

A horizontal slash that cleanly split his torso across the chest.

He regenerated mid-air but it was noticeably even slower.

And then he crashed as Flat's lightning spell came down up on him like divine judgment, chaining through Eins' body and locking his muscles in place.

I was already there.

Fist cocked.

[Murak] switched to the last second with [Vita].

My reinforced muscles were screaming at me as I punched straight through his abdomen.

My arm came out the other side, dripping blood and steam.

Eins froze.

Eyes wide before releasing a puddle of blood from his mouth

[Matrix Redefinition]

I updated the checkpoint again "this time just stay dead asshole!"

I quickly went through all the mental sequence steps.

I abstracted the already existing image of 'earth and 'stone' giving it function and intent in my mind.

The primary concept behind it was 'material asserting itself wherever needed.'

Normally it's impossible to create something from nothing but one of my elements was ether. Therefore, it's easy for me to essentially spawn or rather transmute a burst of my mana into the material I wanted.

Especially when said material I wanted was 'earth' something that I also had as an element. Therefore I didn't need to do much mental work for the converting process.

From there I moved on to the Sephirot Mapping Sequence:

Gevura (Strength / Restriction) → Governs solidification and boundary enforcement.

Chakma (Wisdom / Patterning) → Guides structure into intended shape.

Yesod (Foundation / Transmission) → Transfers the pattern into the material plane.

Malkuth (Manifest Reality) → Materializes the Earth phenomenon as the World interprets it.

The Parameter Entry followed after.

Direction: Everywhere.

Scope: Within the target's body.

Velocity: Fast and Explosive.

Duration: A Mere Second.

Cost: Mid-Amount (much higher than a lower tier-based earth spell)

Since the spell was so cost effective, I decided to label it as a second-tier earth within my magecraft style.

"Turn into dirty fireworks [El-DONA!]" I roared surging every last bit of mana I had left in me. For a fraction of a second, Eins' body stiffened. Eyes snapping wide as my spell came into effect.

BOOM!!

His body detonated from the inside out in a violent supernova of jagged earth spikes.

Stone spears erupted through flesh, spine, skull, and limbs all at once, bursting outward in every direction like a grotesque firework display. Blood atomized into mist, splattering across the park as chunks of meat and shattered bone were flung skyward, impaled mid-flight by rapidly expanding pillars of earth.

Eins' face went still.

Frozen.

Eyes wide.

Mouth half-open.

No laughter or ecstasy.

Only just sheer disbelief.

Then his head burst too split apart by a crown of stone spikes punching outward from within his skull.

Silence followed.

The earth spikes didn't linger instead they crumbled after, collapsing into lifeless rubble. What remained of the Assassin known as Eins Laphroaig hit the ground in pieces.

Not regenerating.

No laughing.

Only just dead scattered meat.

I stood there, arm still extended, breath ragged as my circuits screamed and shut down one by one.

Murak collapsed.

Vita unraveled.

Shin faded away from my head and suddenly I felt it.

The weight of all my fears and deaths that I had just forced myself to go through. In order to attain a perfect victory without anything to hold me back.

My legs gave out and I dropped to one knee, trembling palms hitting the cracked pavement as my stomach twisted violently.

I dry-heaved whatever I had left in my stomach.

Once.

Twice.

Flat rushed over, eyes wide, shaking.

"Ra-Rai bro! Are you okay is he dead?!" I didn't answer immediately no I was too busy staring at the crater.

At the bastard's scattered remains half-expecting him to start fucking regenerating or even for him to pop right back up and kill us both right now.

The bounded field around the park unraveled on its own, mana dispersing harmlessly into the night air.

"Y-Yes...he's dead," I swallowed, voice hoarse.

Flat swallowed "dead... dead?"

I nodded once an unnatural smile forming on my face "yeah he's dead..he's d-dead hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!" I threw my head back laughing.

An endless stream of tears crawled down my cheeks "were alive Flat! Your alive! WE MADE IT!" I exclaimed in relief and joy.

I forcefully stood up again my legs wobbling and vision blurry and then the world tilted. Flat barely had time to react before I lurched forward. His arms caught me around the shoulders just as my knees buckled completely, my weight crashing into him far harder than either of us expected.

"WOAH HEY, HEY RAI!" he yelped, stumbling back a step before managing to brace himself "it's okay bro I've got you."

My body refused to cooperate though and my brain was just to tired out.

The adrenaline that had kept me upright finally burned out, leaving nothing but exhaustion, pain, and the backlash of forty death loops clawing their way back into my nervous system all at once.

My hands were shaking violently now.

From all that my [Shin] spell was holding back for me.

I laughed again, weaker this time, the sound cracking halfway through "hah... hah... I...fuck... my legs aren't... doing the leg thing"

Flat stared at me like I was high up on drugs or something.

"Hey Flat," I whispered ready to pass out "call the Professor would you...oh and make sure to loot the bastard of his things for me," after that I finally fell into blissful sleep.

-end of chapter thirteen-

Let me know your thoughts so far and on the MC's magecraft style.

I am thinking in the future I'll throw in a mix of Rune Symbols and symbols from Astrology/Stars.

Also when my mc performs the sequence for his spells or resets there normally supppose to be bolded but I am to tired and lazy to do so right now.
