Long ago, there was a land choked by chaos, drowned in dispute, and scarred by eternal war. Men fought for mere patches of dirt, while others burned forests to claim everything for themselves. For hundreds of years, the territory was so ravaged that it became almost unlivable; it was no longer a home, but a graveyard of mud and ash.
Out of the smoke emerged a figure. He possessed six arms and a face of shifting spirals to ensure no man could truly look upon him. He declared himself the Unifier, vowing to stitch the broken territory back together and bring a final peace to this land.
The people laughed. They mocked his vision as a fool's dream, for no one had ever tried to rule that land without being killed within a heartbeat. But the figure did not care. As soon as he appeared, his conquest began.
His army was as powerful as it was pitiless. He commanded that any person who disobeyed be killed immediately. There was no mercy. Everywhere he marched, he left a pool of blood behind him.
As time passed, the desperate began to surrender, offering to be his loyal courtiers. But the Unifier denied them. He considered those who yielded to be untrustworthy and pathetic, so he commanded their execution as well. His army became an unmatched force, and no one dared to confront him alone.
The day finally arrived when the last rival conqueror fell beneath his feet. He unified the entire, vast land and became its Supreme Leader.
Under his rule, the "liveness" was restored. He brought the land back to life with a terrifying precision. He was always right; he always chose the correct path. Anyone who dared to disagree was executed, for their ideas were seen as flaws in his perfect design. What he spoke was the Truth. What he did was the Rule.
When the land was fully restored and the new order was established, he did not leave. Instead, he returned to the soil. He sank into the very heart of the land, becoming one with it.
He promised that he would continue to protect this land forever—that he would never truly leave, but would always remain an overseer, watching his people from the very ground they walk upon.
