As Day eats his ice cream and Travis drinks his energy drink, the calmness of 3 am settles all around.
"good?" Travis asks, eyeing the now half-empty container of ice cream, and Day nods, eyes shining.
Then, he scoops up some of them with his little spoon and feeds it to Travis, who hums when the cream melt son his tongue.
It's good.
And that's how they stay for a little while. Day, feeding Travis some ice cream occasionally, not saying a word, as a comfortable silence lies between them, and just being in the other's presence.
