Travis watches the sleeping boy far longer than could be deemed healthy. He hasn't stopped looking at him, watching as his chest rises and falls, eyes fluttering once in a while like he is dreaming.
Everything he has known and believed in the last four years is being deconstructed the longer he watches Day. He hasn't touched him since he put him in the bed.
But, he has seen color start to regain in his lips and the paleness, even though still there, isn't as sharp.
For one hour, he has stood above Day, watching him.
He moves across the room to the bathroom and starts filling the huge bathtub with water. Then he adds in some oils he knows Day uses to soothe his skin and help him feel calm. He knows all of this because he knows the boy asleep in his bed.
