Before we knew it, it was September 1st, the first day of the new school year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
To avoid any accidents, Vizette and his group made sure to arrive at King's Cross Station an hour early, before the departure time.
They also helped a freshman cross Platform 9 and Platform 10 together to enter Platform 9¾.
"That's amazing! It just went through the wall like that? What if it got stuck halfway through? Would its butt be left sticking out?"
"Wow! This is a steam train! It looks so old! But why does it look brand new? And it doesn't have any strange smell at all!"
The new students were amazed, their eyes wide, and they frantically took photos with their Polaroid cameras before disappearing into the surging crowd.
Xenophilius accompanied Luna for a while longer, giving her a long, rambling lecture about how to make sure she got enough rest, to be happy, and never to go hungry...
In fact, Xenophilius started repeating these words yesterday afternoon, though the order of the repetition would occasionally change.
"If you have time, you can write to your father. If you're too tired to write, you can ask Vizette to write for you. He sent back a lot of letters last year…"
"Dad, I know!" Luna smiled and nodded repeatedly. "I'll definitely write you a letter myself! Dad, take good care of yourself too..."
A short while later, the freshman ran back.
He said breathlessly, "I've finally found you! You helped me so much just now, let me take a picture of you!"
As the new student snapped away with his Polaroid camera, he introduced himself, "My name is Colin, Colin Creevey."
Vizette and the others then introduced themselves.
Seeing the Polaroid camera in Colin's hand, Vizette suddenly had an idea. "Mr. Lovegood, once I've made the developing solution, I'll send you another magic photo!"
He doesn't usually take photos, but seeing Xenophilius's reluctant expression reminded him of it.
"That's wonderful!" Xenophilius nodded subconsciously, a touch of emotion creeping in. "You're a potion master now! And it's only been a year..."
He patted Vizette on the shoulder. "I should go now. Remember to take good care of Luna. I'll handle the potions at home, and I'll open a vault for you in Gringotts later."
After saying this, he hugged Luna for a while before disappearing into the crowd, looking back every few steps.
Colin followed behind Vizette, wanting to take a Polaroid photo of everything they encountered, whether it was a flying broom, an owl, or any other pet.
He was a natural at making friends and followed Vizette and Luna into a carriage.
"The magical world is amazing! Before receiving my acceptance letter, I had no idea that all those strange things that happened were caused by magic!"
"My dad delivers milk, so he can't come to deliver it to me. I had to come by myself. But I promised him I would take pictures of all of this and send them to him!"
"Vizette, what is the developing potion you mentioned earlier...? Does 'magic photograph' refer to those moving photographs in wizarding newspapers?"
Vizette explained simply, "Yes, there's a kind of potion that can make photos move."
"When the time comes, can you help me animate these photos too?" Colin jumped up excitedly, his neck turning bright red.
He took out two bottles of milk from his satchel, then found a small compartment in the bag and rummaged through it several times before finally pulling out a Knut and a few silver Sickles.
"Here you go. I know potions aren't cheap; my dad told me! And this milk too..."
"This was given to me by my dad. He said if I make friends, I should drink with them. Would you... accept it?"
Vizette only accepted the milk, but proposed another option: he hoped to occasionally borrow the Polaroid camera to take some photos of Luna's life, develop them with developing chemicals, and then send them to Xenophilius.
This should make Xenophilius much happier.
Colin, a restless boy, soon slung his satchel over his shoulder and wandered around the train corridor, trying to find traces of Harry Potter.
Vizette used a simple household charm to slowly warm the milk in his hands.
The Hogwarts Express carriages were also busy, with Vizette's roommate flashing past in the corridor.
"Where did Vizette go? He went to Sweden too, he must know about that, that towering tree…"
Not long after, they returned and went into the carriage.
Michael, with his dark hair, was the first to enter. He waved and greeted her, "Hello, Luna! I'm Vizette's roommate, my name is Michael Corner."
Luna waved back, "Hello, Mr. Corner!"
"Just call me Michael." Michael plopped down, right next to Vizette. "Although this is our first meeting, I already knew about you when school started."
Luna blinked. "Is that so? Because of those letters?"
"Something even more important than homework!" Anthony was the second to enter the carriage. "Luna, you have no idea, he doesn't put this much effort into the assignments the professors give us!"
Vizette touched his nose, coughed lightly, and corrected, "I've always put my heart into it."
Terry walked in too. "I can vouch for you! Vizette has always been very dedicated. Anthony is just talking nonsense! My name is Terry Boot, you can just call me Terry!"
"I suggest you don't tell Anthony which reference book to use for your paper." Chris finally stepped into the carriage. "Hello Luna, my name is Chris."
Luna waved repeatedly, greeting her roommates.
With so many people in the carriage, the seats suddenly became crowded.
Vizette, holding the milk in his hand, squeezed it towards Luna.
Their arms touched, and they could feel the warmth emanating from each other.
Vizette handed Luna the warm milk and asked softly, "Does it feel too tight?"
Luna shook her head gently, took a small sip, and said, "No, it's warm."
After hearing Vizette's words, Terry said, "Michael, move over a bit! You're taking up most of the seat."
"You don't understand at all…" Michael chuckled. "Vizette, remember this! Terry told me to move over."
He shifted to the side, pressing his body against the other side of the seat, and asked again, "Regarding that matter from before, is the big tree in Sweden real?"
"Why would I lie to you?" Anthony raised his eyebrows and crossed his arms. "I just forgot to buy the newspaper over there. It's definitely true!"
Vizette moved a little to the side to make Luna more comfortable, confirming the matter, "It's at the wizarding ruins near Stockholm, I can testify."
