Chapter 146 - [146] Whimsical Spells and Wistful Goodbyes

Vizette snapped his fingers with his other hand, causing another leaf to float up.

Two fallen leaves came to rest side by side, and following Vizette's command, they fluttered up and down together.

"I didn't chant any spells! This is not only silent spellcasting, but also wandless spellcasting! Look! My two hands! One is snapping its fingers, and the other is…"

He suddenly realized that he was holding Luna's hand...

The warmth of her palm, the slight coolness of her fingertips, soft and delicate, like mutton fat jade...

Moreover, Vizette could also smell that familiar scent of grass and trees;

It was elegant and refreshing, with a touch of elusive mystery.

Two fallen leaves drifting in the air seemed to lose their sense of direction, sometimes soaring high into the ceiling, and sometimes plunging down, skimming the floor, creating a breathtaking scene.

"Silent spellcasting, wandless spellcasting?" Luna's tone seemed unchanged, still so light and gentle.

Her cheeks still had a pretty cherry blossom pink hue. "Sounds like... a very impressive spellcasting technique, right?"

Vizette felt his face burning and stammered as he explained, "It's not bad... although it can only be used on the Levitation Charm... this magic is very basic, but it's still a significant improvement."

He took a deep breath, released his grip, picked up the wand, and chanted, "Falling leaves, come!"

"I feel like I've improved too." Luna smiled, picked up her wand, and chanted the spell in the most formal way, "Wingardium Leviosa!"

As she waved and flicked her wand, Vizette watched the two fallen leaves being pulled and slowly float into the air.

Just as Vizette had done before, the rising and falling of leaves was not accomplished by a wand, but by "airflow".

Luna put down her wand, stood up, and held out her palm. Two fallen leaves fluttered into her hand. "How is it, Professor Vizette?"

"It took me a very long time to master the Levitation Charm," Vizette smiled slightly. "And I also received inspiration from you, Teacher Luna!"

"Hmm... Let's improve together in the future, Teacher Vizette!" Luna hummed softly, a satisfied smile appearing in her eyes.

"Wingardium Leviosa!" She cast the levitation spell again, and the falling leaves fluttered and tumbled like joyful butterflies...

-------------------------------------

The next morning, Vizette gently flicked his finger and walked out of the room with his suitcase floating off the ground.

Before Luna and Xenophilius woke up, Vizette took out his wand and directed the kitchen utensils to prepare breakfast.

Not long after, Luna, wand in hand, cast the levitation spell, making the suitcase "walk" down the stairs little by little.

Seeing the excited expression on Luna's face, Vizette smiled as well, but did not wave to help.

This was Luna enjoying the magic, and he certainly wouldn't disturb such an interesting moment.

Summer days always dawned exceptionally early, and the blue sky was cloudless, making it a beautiful, clear day.

Just as Vizette finished making three fried eggs and was about to wake Xenophilius, Thor and Diana outside made "coo coo coo" sounds.

Immediately afterwards, the door knocker was knocked, and the Weasley twins' voices came from the garden.

"So this is what those seeds look like when they grow up! I've never seen flowers of this color before."

"I've never seen this before, it's so amazing... It's this color now, but I heard it changes color depending on the season..."

Mrs. Weasley's voice rang out, loudly proclaiming, "George! You all better behave yourselves! If you're going to play, play with those Christmas cacti in your yard!"

"But Mom... I'm Fred!"

"Yes! I'm George... Oh, Mom! It breaks my heart! You can never tell us apart!"

"Yes, Mom! We've known each other for fourteen years, and we still can't tell the difference! It's heartbreaking! So heartbreaking!"

The Weasley twins said, their voices filled with frustration.

Mrs. Weasley's tone softened slightly: "Alright! George, Fred, it's my fault, I'm sorry..."

"Hey! Actually, I am George, Mom, you guessed right!"

"Hahaha! But Mom, we accept your apology!"

A round of clapping sounds rang out.

Luna had already come downstairs and quickly opened the door. "Good morning, Mrs. Weasley!"

In an instant, Mrs. Weasley's voice softened. "Luna, good morning! Looks like you're up early too? Is your father up making breakfast? I see smoke coming from the chimney."

Luna said, "Vizette is making breakfast, come in quickly!"

As the group entered the living room, Mrs. Weasley saw Vizette cracking eggs and couldn't help but sigh, "Merlin's beard! If you two were like Vizette, you'd make things much easier for your mother!"

"We can clear out the gnomes!"

"We can help you feed the chickens!"

"Although not as good as Percy!"

"But the grades aren't bad either!"

The Weasley twins sang in unison, counting on their fingers.

"Alright! Alright!" Mrs. Weasley couldn't help but chuckle. "We know you're something else! If only you had made fewer mistakes back at Hogwarts, I'd received several complaint letters already!"

Vizette extinguished the flame on the stove and looked at the Weasleys, saying, "Good morning, Mrs. Weasley, Fred, George! Would you like some fried eggs?"

"Good boy! I've already cooked the oatmeal." Mrs. Weasley waved her hand with a smile. "Xenophilius told us that you're planning to go on a trip, so he asked me to look after the garden."

Vizette quickly said, "Thank you so much, Mrs. Weasley, for troubling you!"

Fred and George waved their hands simultaneously, one after the other, and said:

"It's alright! If you travel to Sweden, remember to bring back some local specialties!"

"Those strange and unusual local products, the stranger the better, that's what we like!"

"Alright, alright! Don't say that!" Mrs. Weasley glared at the Weasley twins. "They're just neighbors helping each other out, no need to make such a fuss."

"Molly...good morning!" Xenophilius, sporting a messy hairstyle, came downstairs, rubbing his eyes and trying to look as energetic as possible.

He held a leather notebook in his hand, its style somewhat antique. "Sorry... I was packing last night and then went to bed late..."

He went straight to Mrs. Weasley and handed her the old notebook.

"Basically, you just need to water it every day... If there are any unexpected situations, you can check directly in the notebook."

"The method of use is also very simple: just bring the note close to the flower with the abnormality, and the solution will appear on the note."

Upon hearing this, Vizette couldn't help but marvel once again at the wonders of magic, that even a notebook could possess such capabilities.

Luna leaned closer to him and whispered, "That was written by my mother. I used it until I figured out all the flowers in the garden."
