Chapter 139 - [139] Echoes of the Past, Horizons Ahead

The wizard rubbed his eyes, as if he had just woken up.

He looked the two of them up and down, and asked uncertainly, "Just the two of you?"

"Parents are already in line." Vizette shook his head. "Is there a problem?"

"He's really quite trusting!" The wizard shrugged, his tone becoming much friendlier. "Getting a wizard's passport... planning to go traveling?"

"Just follow that road…" he pointed and said, "Take those golden, checkered elevators. The Department of International Magical Cooperation is on the fifth floor."

"Thanks."

The two navigated through the slightly crowded flow of people and found an elevator that had just arrived.

They had just stepped into the elevator when others who also spotted it immediately rushed in as well.

The originally spacious elevator became crowded as people poured in, and the two could only stand side by side in the corner.

Vizette pushed outwards as much as possible to give Luna enough space.

Nevertheless, their arms inevitably touched.

Fortunately, this situation did not last long. As the elevator stopped, some people rushed out of the area, and the space finally became spacious.

Once the elevator was empty, Vizette moved to Luna's side, let out a long sigh, and wiped the sweat from his forehead.

"Phew!" Luna exhaled softly, her fair face now a beautiful cherry blossom pink.

"Maybe it's still too crowded. Did you feel suffocated?" Vizette said in a low voice with concern. "Next time, come with Mr. Lovegood. With him standing in front, things should be better."

...

"No, I'm fine, it's not crowded at all," Luna gently shook her head.

She caught a faint scent of lavender, a tranquil and delicate fragrance that reminded her of the warm winter sun and gentle breeze.

That involuntary blush was simply proof that she was enjoying the warmth of the sun.

"The fifth floor houses the Department of International Magical Cooperation, which includes the International Magical Trade Standards Body, the International Magical Office of Law, the British seat of the International Confederation of Wizards, and the International Magical Office of Tourism..."

Accompanied by a cold female voice introducing them, Vizette and Luna stepped out of the elevator.

A whooshing sound came from above as several paper airplanes flew over their heads and headed toward an open door.

The magic of magic lies in its sudden, unexpected effect.

Even a small door can lead to a hidden world, just like our destination – the International Magical Office of Tourism.

Although it's called an office, it's actually a bright hall with paper airplanes hovering on the ceiling and a dozen wizards sitting in a row on soft chairs.

Luna waved ahead; she had already spotted Xenophilius.

Xenophilius took Luna's hand and looked her up and down. "You haven't run into any trouble, have you?"

"Let me show you my wand." Luna's voice was full of joy. "It's beautiful, just like a unicorn's horn."

Xenophilius exclaimed repeatedly, "Of course! Just as beautiful as my baby!"

"Vizette helped me choose it."

"You also have contact with... Mr. Ollivander?"

Vizette nodded. "He took good care of me and shared a lot of his experiences with me."

"Insights?" Xenophilius hesitated, "Insights in what area? Could it be... that he intends to mentor you?"

Vizette said in a low voice, "It's just a plan, I said I'd consider it after I graduate."

"Hiss..." Xenophilius gasped, scrutinizing Vizette closely. "How many more surprises... do you have that I don't know about?"

...

Generally, wizards do not need a wizard passport to travel to other countries.

However, without a passport, they will not be able to receive any assistance in the event of danger and will have to take full responsibility for their safety.

For example, many of the wizards living in Knockturn Alley were dark wizards who had fled to other countries without passports.

When they were captured by the Auror Office, they were put directly into prison without even being interrogated.

In short, having a wizard's passport can be considered an extra layer of protection, which is also Xenophilius's intention.

While waiting in line, Vizette took out his notebook and looked up the relevant categories.

He had made many plans, and now that a school year had passed, it was time to check on the completed projects.

"Transformation magic type…" Vizette murmured softly, his finger tracing the plan regulations above.

After a school year, in addition to completing his regular studies, he also read through "A Beginner's Guide to Transfiguration," from which he gained a lot, and was even able to transform into a deer.

However, such profound theories are still worth studying further, and they are always new and interesting to look at.

"Next year... if I start practicing Animagus, I can ask Professor McGonagall to recommend a few more books for me."

He ticked off this year's Transfiguration Magic plan and wrote down his preliminary plan for next year: to understand Animagus as much as possible and eventually master it.

He then followed the same method, checking the progress of subjects such as Potions and Charms, and after confirming that they were all completed, he wrote down his vision for the next school year.

"Defense Against the Dark Arts…" A slight smile appeared on Vizette's lips.

In addition to basic defense against dark magic, he even mastered several advanced dark magic spells.

However, these dark magic spells are highly lethal, and it's really not suitable to use them in formal situations.

"I should add the Forgetfulness Potion to the compulsory magic curriculum next year," Vizette murmured, turning to the first page of his notebook and writing down the goal in the most prominent place.

Being able to master the Forgetfulness Potion could save him from a lot of trouble.

What he needs is not a brutal deletion of memories, but a more precise modification of them, or the overlay of new memories.

After all, he has the Magia Revelio and the identity of a Guardian. When his own power is still very weak, maintaining secrecy is a very important thing.

If memories are deleted too abruptly, it may arouse more suspicion and attention.

In conclusion, there are still many intricacies involved in the Forgetfulness Potion, and it is worthwhile to continue exploring and researching it.

"That will make next school year very fulfilling!" Vizette checked the plans for next school year again.

In terms of Transfiguration magic, there is an additional subject to learn called Animagus;

In terms of spellcasting, he needs to study the Forgetfulness Potion in depth so that he can handle different situations and not be suspected by others;

In the field of Potions, Snape was a Potions Master; simply participating in private lessons would be enough for him to learn even more…
