Chapter 131 - [131] Trelawney's Hiccuping Prophecies

Dumbledore shouted, "He displayed astonishing wisdom and fearless courage in his dealings with the dark wizard, saving a professor's life and earning Ravenclaw a perfect score!"

As soon as he finished speaking, he took out his wand and waved it sharply. The eagle banner suddenly flew up and transformed into a real eagle in the air.

This eagle was so huge that it almost covered the entire ceiling. Its sharp eyes and finely detailed feathers made it look like a real eagle!

Dumbledore displayed unparalleled Transfiguration magic, causing an eagle to circle the Great Hall before exploding and turning into a shower of candy.

Vizette extended his hand, and a Chocolate Frog landed right in his palm.

He quickly looked up and saw Dumbledore winking at him and raising his arm in a shushing gesture.

...

On the day he left school, the exam results were finally released, and Vizette unsurprisingly ranked first in the year.

Earning an "O" in other subjects was normal, but receiving an "O" from Snape became the last big news before the end of term.

Apart from a very few Slytherins, no other house student could receive the evaluation of "Outstanding" from Snape.

The Slytherins, of course, wanted to know the reason, but they were turned away at the Potions office.

According to the caretaker Filch, Snape had left the castle early in the morning to begin his summer vacation.

Vizette went to the school hospital again, intending to try the Scouring Charm to see if it could help Quirrell.

Dumbledore was also at the school hospital, wearing a knowingly satisfied smile. "I knew you'd come."

"I asked Madam Pomfrey, and Professor Quirrell still hasn't woken up," Vizette said, picking up his wand. "So I thought I'd give it a try…"

Dumbledore nodded. "The wonders of the Guardians are beyond our comprehension. That's why I came here to ask Madam Pomfrey to let me have some time alone with Quirrell."

"Then I shall begin!" Vizette waved his wand, tracing a beautiful "S" shape. "Scourgify!"

The wand glowed with a silver-blue light, and a vortex circled around Quirrell, only bringing out wisps of black mist as thin as a veil.

Dumbledore looked at the black mist and said, "It seems that the Philosopher's Stone on Quirrell's body is the main reason for his coma."

"Ha!" Quirrell suddenly opened his eyes, panting heavily.

He looked around blankly, and mumbled, "School...school hospital? Vizette? What are you doing here?"

Vizette waved. "Good morning, Professor Quirrell!"

"Quirrell, you've been unconscious for several days," Dumbledore said softly. "So we came to check on you."

"What's wrong with me?" Quirrell struggled to sit up, but his arms trembled so much that he couldn't manage the movement.

Dumbledore explained, "The Philosopher's Stone, your soul and body are out of sync, so you are in a state of extreme weakness."

He then went on to explain in more detail, mentioning Nicolas Flamel.

"Unbelievable!" Quirrell exclaimed, his eyes wide, before letting out a long yawn. "After all this time, I've actually become… Nicolas Flamel's student!"

He mustered his strength and looked at Vizette. "Vizette, Headmaster Dumbledore, everything is thanks to your help. I will always remember it and never forget it!"

Dumbledore's tone was tinged with amusement. "I didn't do anything, at most I just poked you with a stone..."

As Vizette recalled the past, his nose tingled with emotion. "Me too... I've always been protected by you."

"Thanks… nothing like that…" Quirrell yawned again, his eyelids drooping. "I'll come back…we'll be back again…"

Before he could finish speaking, he closed his eyes, collapsed onto the bed, and fell into a deep, baby-like sleep.

"This has nothing to do with malice; it's the purity of Quirrell's soul that makes his body uncomfortable," Dumbledore explained with a smile. "However... this way of saying goodbye is quite nice."

Vizette looked at the bright sunshine outside the window and smiled, "Yes! We'll meet again!"

...

After leaving the school hospital, Vizette planned to go back to pack his luggage and then wait for the train to arrive at the platform with his roommates.

To his surprise, Trelawney popped out again when he arrived on the eighth floor this time.

Just like her encounter at the beginning of the school year, Trelawney appeared behind Vizette almost without warning, in the blink of an eye.

Trelawney still reeked of alcohol, hiccuped incessantly, and mumbled something.

"Carrying a four-leaf clover... hiccup! The new star will eventually reach... hiccup! The ancient... hiccup! The gears... hiccup! Turning the wheel of fate... hiccup!"

"Triangle... hiccup! Intertwined, making everything... hiccup! The eerie mist... hiccup! Getting more and more blurry... hiccup! Blurred!"

It must be said that this was the first time Vizette had ever met a professor like Trelawney.

He tried hard to hear what Trelawney was saying, but unfortunately Trelawney was too drunk and her voice was too slurred.

In addition, the punctuation caused by hiccups made the already difficult-to-understand words even more elusive.

At the other end of the corridor, a tabby cat appeared. She leaped forward and transformed into Professor McGonagall's appearance in mid-air. "Vizette, did you manage to get entangled with her?"

As she spoke, she waved her wand and conjured a blanket out of thin air, wrapping it around Trelawney.

Trelawney was already asleep, wrapped in a brightly colored blanket, looking like a caterpillar.

Professor McGonagall waved her wand at the armored figure in the distance, and the armored figure walked slowly toward Trelawney, hoisting the "caterpillar" onto its shoulder.

"She's always such a handful!" Professor McGonagall sighed, like a heartbroken mother. "It's such a bad influence if the students see this!"

She watched as the armored figure hoisted Trelawney onto its shoulder and disappeared down the corridor.

After a while, she turned to face Vizette and said, "Let's find an empty classroom and have a proper talk about Transfiguration magic!"

Vizette nodded and followed Professor McGonagall quickly through the corridor, soon finding a classroom with its door wide open.

The classroom seemed to be being vandalized, with constant clanging and rattling sounds.

Upon entering, one discovers that the classroom floor is a complete mess, littered with chalk stubs, scraps of paper, and various fragments of lime sculptures.

"There were no more footsteps in the hallway, and even the stairwells were yawning with boredom. Jokes and scary plans would have to wait until next school year..."

"My playmates, my little friends, have all donned invisibility cloaks, leaving me here, unable to sing a joyful song to this pile of broken metal..."

Above the classroom, a humanoid object was floating, humming an unpleasant tune while drawing on the ceiling with chalk...
