Thunder nearly jumped out of his chair.
"Goddess Elena! Please! Let's do it! I'm so stoked!"
JJ straightened his back like a victorious general. He crossed his arms over his chest and looked at Elena with a smug expression that practically screamed I win.

Blaze and Thunder shivered.
Eros met her eyes without flinching.
Night's stare was unwavering.
For a moment, Elena said nothing. Her silence was heavy, as if she were weighing the entire industry in her palm.
Then she sighed.
"Fine."
