In the beginning, there was a party of five powerful Knights who arrived on a vast land untamed land. After the long perilous journey over the million mile monster infested ocean they refused to return home empty handed.
The land they arrived at was lush and blooming with potential, if looking from the center it extended over a million miles in each direction.
Strange monsters flew across the skies, and large beasts roamed the fields.
This land is filled with many different climates, some places are covered in snow, some with sand. Some bleed eerie demonic energy and some are vast seas of grass surrounded by high mountains.
These landless Knights, who were eager to claim their own territories, quickly found that this land was already inhabited by powerful demon beasts and a myriad of other races.
Demon beasts, which are those who cultivate the world's mana, become strong beings equivalent to the legendary human gods.
The leaders of these demon beasts were five divine beings deemed the kings of this continent.
The Leaders were a Vermillion Phoenix, which is a bird resembling a pheasant with multi-colored feathers perpetually covered in flames.
A Winged White Tiger, whose white skin is covered in black stripes and a large pair of white feathered wings.
A Azure Dragon, a majestic turquoise serpent like beast with a long body and four feet with talon like claws on each.
A Black Tortoise, which is a mountain sized turtle with black leathery skin, who carries a large golden shell with a snake headed tail escaping from the rear.
Lastly a Red Qilin, which is four legged creature with a single horn, the body of a deer covered in red scales, the tail of a lion, and the hooves of a horse.
The adventurers knew that they could never take this land if they didn't first kill or tame its original inhabitants.
Primarily the Demon Kings.
This caused the humans to send word to their homeland, to muster their allies and sail across the million mile sea to join them in a great battle.
They knew this would be dangerous and that they would lose many soldiers over the voyage. Yet they didn't care, they saw the vision, one of five future empires that would conquer and claim this land.
What would the death of a few thousand ants under them matter after they conquered this land? Even a hundred thousand ants wouldn't matter if they succeeded.
In addition to the demon kings of legend, they found many other races and even some humans who already lived on this land. These groups were under the rule of the five tyrant demon kings and were eager for rebellion.
There were five large groups which already inhabited this land, among thousands of smaller ones.
The largest of these forces included the great forest and mountain Orcs, large muscular humanoid creatures who stood two feet taller than most men. Depending on the land from which they hailed, they either had red or green skin and large teeth that protruded from their lower jaw.
An uncultivated orc has a lower lifespan of only 40-50 years, this causes them to procreate rapidly leading to a combined force of tens of millions.
The second largest force was the elves of the great evergreen forest, humanoid creatures which looked mostly like human. Yet each of them possessed unparalleled beauty, pointy ears, and carried themselves with a noble demeanor.
These elves lived much longer lives than uncultivated humans or orcs, with a lifespan of over 1,000 years. After many years of peace, they numbered in the millions. Densely populating their small land.
The demons of the wasteland were next, these creatures were vastly different from one another. A combination of humanoid tribes, mostly covered in red skin with golden eyes yet not at all human like.
Some looked mostly human, yet the large majority of them had the limbs of beasts. Their species, who likely came from human origins, were corrupted by the dark demonic mana polluting their land.
These demons lived longer lives, yet not as long as the elves. An uncultivated demon could live for over 300 years, those living in the wasteland numbered just over a million.
While few in number, they possessed much stronger bodies than those of the other races which led to their equal status among Orcs and Elves. If not for their arrogance and sadistic tendencies they would likely rule a much larger territory.
Next were the dwarves, hidden in the mountains they refused to acknowledge any king but that within the mountain. Fiercely prideful yet only standing three feet tall with large and colorful beards.
The master artisans of the mountains only numbered in the hundreds of thousands but possessed masterly crafted weapons of war which could triumph over any humanoid nation. Content with life within their mountaintop castles they rarely ventured out. Until one day the azure dragon made its will known, submit or die.
After many bloody battles, they were forced to flee from their mountain top homes. Their once prestigious mountaintop castles burnt black. Creating a new kingdom deep inside the mountains, yet they never forgot the azure dragon which chased them from their home. They planned and waiting for such an opportunity for revenge.
Last of the five great races were the purist humans, who after living under the oppression of the demon kings grew to despise beast of all kinds. Once they had a population of hundreds of millions, yet they arrogantly challenged the demon kings alone.
The empire of the humans fell, and their numbers dwindled to only a few million. An uncultivated human could live for over 80 years, yet few did after the loss of the great Dawnguard empire.
The five major races of this new continent banded together under the leadership of these powerful adventurers and their armies.
The five adventurers convinced these groups, who once stood against each other, to unite under their own battle. To escape the tyranny of the beasts within the mountain.
A fierce battle broke out, lasting over 100 years and terraforming the land through its great battles. Eventually, through sheer numbers they overwhelmed the demon kings and their army of beasts. Climbing the great myriad mountain.
The five strongest adventurers, who dealt the final blow to the demon kings devised a plan to take the power of these beast for their own. Becoming the first Beast Blood Knights in history.
To accomplish this merged their bloodlines with that of the divine beasts. Giving their qi a unique nature and ferocity. Each of these adventurers, upon merging their bloodlines also achieved a breakthrough into the Divine Lord realm.
After the period of war the adventurers split the land, each deciding on taking a different portion. Promising a 1,000 year period of peace to allow for their lands to build and prosper.
These adventurers then separated, aiming to establish their own bloodline to pass down this incredible power to their descendants.
What they did not know was that these kings had an emperor of their own. The demon kings who were just protecting their infant emperor had made a drastic decision.
After realizing the humans were encroaching onto their territory year after year, they decided to give their lives in one last battle. They fled the mountain in the hope that the human led army wouldn't find the emperor hidden deep within their territory.
This emperor was the nine tailed fox, a unique bloodline who only appears once in a millennia. A bloodline which possess limitless capabilities.
The Demon King's rash move had succeeded, the humans followed the fleeing demon kings and left the Myriad Beast Mountain.
A generations went by and the young emperor waited, for his family to return. It was years later when he finally realized, they were gone. He left his cave abode to find the myriad mountain had been taken over by lesser beasts.
This enraged the young emperor who then began bathing the mountain in blood. This turbulence shocked the world around and sent the various races into chaos.
The humans heard of this growing horror and made the mountain an S tier danger zone. They built walls around the mountains to keep themselves safe. Yet this was an illusion, what walls could hold the mountain king?
It only took two hundred years for the emperor to gain enough strength to challenge these five human gods. After leaving the safety of the mountain, the nine tailed emperor found his way into each of the empires following the bloodline scent of his fallen family. The knights didn't merely kill the demon kings, they stole their bloodline sealing their fate.
The knights that killed the demon kings felt an eerie feeling of pending disaster coming from the great myriad mountain. Little did they know, they were the cause.
This emperor eventually found the five who killed his demon king aunts and uncles. After many battles he finally slayed them all, only to find a sense of nothingness. No purpose, no desire, just sadness. After he finally killed all those who took his family away, he lacked a purpose and began wandering the world in his human form.
He sought something to fill the hole within his heart. That was when he found a warrior cultivator, Ellia Eltharian, displaced by the war and looking for purpose.
The demon beast emperor confided in and married Ellia. Then, after a hundred years of trying, they finally conceived a child who took over 1000 years to be born. On the day when Ellia went into labor the moon turned red, the royal blood of the nine tailed emperor was too strong causing natural disasters all around the continent.
What normally would take a day, turned into a month long delivery, the child's intense mana didn't match with that of his mother or his human form. He was frail and unable to contain such pure ferocious qi.
Their mother saw this and cast a life transferring spell to strengthen the child's constitution, rapidly aging her body. Even with her 4 millennia lifespan she turned from a seemingly thirty year old woman to that of a decrepit elder. She took her own necklace, placed it around his neck and laid back onto the large bloodied pillow taking her last breath.
After her sacrifice, Tristan was saved. With a smile on her face she looked at Tristan as he wept, Ellia died.
His father, emboldened by his wife's sacrifice also gave his life. Using all of his cultivated qi to create a seal that could contain the overflowing power within his son. A seal, in the shape of nine fox tails appeared on the baby's back.
Satisfied with his work, he too gave all his life essence to safely empower the child's constitution. The child who had the body of a human, but the royal bloodline of the Nine Tailed Fox.
The emperor looked at a fox eared midwife, a demon who also took human form and smiled.
"You have served me faithfully for many years, it is now time for me to see my own family. Take care of this child, while you only have a few years left to live yourself, I humble ask you to find a place for him."
The midwife, with tears in her eyes and ears that drooped in despair nodded and bowed one last time to the demon emperor.
