That night, Noel sat silently on the bed, still thinking about the information he had received today about Regis' death and what had happened to his family.
It was hard to believe that his older brother was really dead. Someone who had always been by his side, promising to protect him, was now gone.
Noel didn't know what to do anymore. Now he felt like being near Alastair was like being trapped in something far more dangerous than before. Especially after he found out that it was this man who had killed Regis.

His hands clenched tightly as he thought about it. Even now, he didn't know whether Dalton had escaped from Alastair's men or not. Whether he had been caught and killed or managed to escape.
