The days passed for Noel, who was temporarily staying at Alastair's mansion. Everything felt so peaceful. There were no messages from Regis or Yohan asking him to come home or inquiring about his well being.
This made Noel feel quite calm, because it seemed that what his lover had said was true. Perhaps Regis had now accepted their relationship, so he would not make a fuss about it anymore.
However, the calm felt strange because it was too quiet compared to usual. For almost 8 days, he had been staying at Alastair's mansion without being allowed to leave.
The reason was simple: his sprained leg had not completely healed. Even though Noel himself felt that he was much better, he could even walk without dragging his leg.
