"If one day you find out a secret you shouldn't know, will you stay by my side or avoid me?"
Why did he ask me that? What did he mean by a secret I shouldn't know?
Is there something he's been hiding from me all this time?
But what kind of secret does he have that he would say something like that?
"What do you mean by a secret I shouldn't know? Do you know something I don't know right now, Al?" I asked him suspiciously.
"If I say yes, what will you do? Will you try to find out what it is? Because I'll tell you now, I'll never tell you."
I was confused by his words. If there really was a secret he couldn't tell me, was it a very crucial secret?
"Will it affect our relationship?" I asked him again.
For a moment, Al remained silent, saying nothing. He just looked at me as if I already knew the answer he was going to give. And indeed, the answer was exactly as I had suspected. Something that would greatly affect our relationship at this moment.
