Chapter 65 - Chapter 65: The Maiden's Yearning

A peaceful night's sleep.

The night after the rain was quite cool, the bed was spacious, and the ladies were soft. The only slight drawback was that Chuck still had to wake up in the middle of the night to add wood to the fire. Additionally, the smoke from the fire always accumulated under the roof, making the indoor air quality slightly poor.

So, Chuck woke up in the morning, feeling refreshed, got out of bed, and became even more determined about his plan.

As long as he expanded the house and installed a fireplace, he would finally have a dwelling that could genuinely be called a "house." By then, neither wind nor rain would pose a threat.

"Daddy…"

Just as Chuck was standing by the window stretching, preparing for a busy day, a pair of small hands suddenly wrapped around his waist from behind, and a sweet, soft call sounded.

Chuck curved his mouth, turned slightly, and saw Gu Mòmo, who had rushed out of bed to hug him before even bothering to dress. He bent down and effortlessly picked her up.

The petite girl wrapped her arms around his neck, her adorable face as red as a small peach. She no longer avoided Chuck's gaze, looking straight at him with large eyes filled with admiration and love.

"Does it still hurt?"

Chuck cradled Gu Mòmo's soft butt with one hand and gently stroked her smooth, slender back with the other.

"It doesn't hurt anymore, it's just still… swollen."

Gu Mòmo pouted, then wrapped her small hands around his neck.

Hearing this, Chuck looked down and saw that the smooth mound was indeed a bit red and swollen, but fortunately, it was not serious.

It seemed that even though he had tried his best to hold back yesterday, taking the intensity out on her mother and Julia, it was still a bit much for the delicate girl.

But just as he felt a slight pang of guilt, Gu Mòmo suddenly leaned close to his ear and spoke again in a soft, sweet voice.

"But… it was really comfortable. So comfortable my head felt like it was going to break, Daddy, you are so amazing…"

The girl's simple compliment nearly made Chuck get hard again on the spot.

He smiled helplessly, calmed the fire in his heart, then slowly put Gu Mòmo down, raising his hand to ruffle her little head.

"Put your clothes on first. Normally, just call me by my name."

But upon hearing this, Gu Mòmo's little face suddenly looked wronged. She raised her hand, grabbed Chuck's shirt hem, and tears instantly welled up in her eyes.

"You… you don't like it?"

Chuck's heart lurched at the sight. He quickly went forward and hugged the little crybaby, explaining with a smile: "Of course I like it, but I'm not your real father, after all."

"But my mom… isn't my real mother either."

Gu Mòmo's remark finally left Chuck speechless.

He thought for a moment, then smiled helplessly, raising his head again. He gently cupped Gu Mòmo's small face with both hands.

"Alright, since you put it that way… you can keep calling me that. I also promise you that from now on, I will take the place of your real father and take care of you for life."

As he finished speaking, Gu Mòmo's small face instantly turned beet red. The tears welling up in her eyes immediately flowed down. She raised her small hands, constantly wiping away tears, and then nodded heavily.

"M-hm!"

A series of light panels instantly appeared before Chuck.

Holy cow…

Chuck tightly held Gu Mòmo's trembling body in his arms, utterly stunned by the new Exclusive Perk effect.

He thought Julia's Exclusive Perk was already overpowered, but there was a superior one!

Instant recall! What a god-tier skill!

However, despite the limitations on triggering the skill, preventing it from being used as a life-saving ultimate move in critical moments, the effect of instant recall alone was absolutely game-breaking!

This skill would save him an unimaginable amount of travel time in the future, and on a deserted island, time was money!

Not to mention the passive effect of accelerating the work queue when Gu Mòmo was within his line of sight.

Chuck looked down at Gu Mòmo, who had turned back into a little crybaby, feeling even more tender affection for her.

Now that he thought about it, from the very first day he met Gu Mòmo, this little girl had been giving herself to him without reservation, even when he was just an insignificant stranger to her.

The promise to take care of her for life was not just a pledge to Gu Mòmo, but a determination he secretly made in his heart.

Raising his gaze, Chuck couldn't help but raise an eyebrow.

He saw that Gu Yitong had sat up at the head of the bed at some point. Her seductive, plump body still swayed like a water bag. She looked at Gu Mòmo, whom Chuck was holding, and two lines of clear tears slowly streamed down her beautiful eyes.

Chuck saw this, pondered for a moment, then gently picked up Gu Mòmo and placed her next to the still-sleeping Julia. He gently kissed her cheek and whispered softly.

"It's still early. Go back to sleep. I'll wake you when breakfast is ready."

"M-hm~"

Gu Mòmo's face was full of happy smiles. She obediently responded and closed her eyes.

Chuck straightened up, then glanced at Gu Yitong and nodded toward the outside of the wooden house.

She was startled but quickly understood. Blushing, she nodded, then gently slipped into the floral dress. She flipped out of bed, her rosy feet stepping into flip-flops, and slowly walked out of the wooden house behind Chuck, swaying her fleshy, large butt.

Three minutes later, below the stone slope platform.

This area was originally scattered with trees, but now only tree stumps remained. Chuck found two relatively close ones. He sat down on one, then pointed to the opposite one.

Gu Yitong saw this, lifted her skirt hem, and then, with her usual elegant and dignified posture, bent down and slowly sat on the stump. Her dark valley and the immense, soft waves that made one thirsty swayed, her fleshy butt touching the stump. Her plump, pale legs were tightly pressed together in front of Chuck with a hint of demureness.

Chuck brazenly admired Gu Yitong's figure, but made no further moves.

Ordinarily, he would have already told the mature woman to strip, but he woke up early today and brought Gu Yitong here specifically to discuss serious matters.

Gu Yitong also vaguely sensed Chuck's intention. After all, if Chuck wanted to use her body, there was no need for such trouble. So, she looked at Chuck seriously, waiting quietly.

Chuck didn't waste time. Once she was seated, he went straight to the point.

"Tell me about Mòmo."

At this, Gu Yitong's beautiful face remained placid. Clearly, this question did not surprise her.

A look of warmth appeared in her beautiful eyes, and she slowly began to speak.

Her very first sentence completely stunned Chuck.

"Mòmo's biological father committed suicide in prison last year."

The sunrise rose from the ocean horizon, dispelling the morning moisture. Amidst the dappled tree shadows in the jungle, Gu Yitong, her legs pressed together, lowered her head and recounted the past, word by word.

Chuck listened silently throughout, without interrupting. Honestly, there was nothing he could say.

They say that the influence of one's native family is unavoidable, but Gu Yitong's account seemed to prove to Chuck that this statement wasn't absolute.

But the prerequisite was having someone who could pull her out of the mire.

For Gu Mòmo, that person was undoubtedly Gu Yitong.

Although she was now stranded on a deserted island and had become Chuck's bitch, as a successful career woman in the past, Gu Yitong's life could not even be described as smooth sailing. It could probably be turned into a satisfying urban novel about a strong female lead without much revision.

She came from an ordinary working-class family in a small town. Both her parents were once ordinary employees of a state-owned enterprise. They experienced mass layoffs and later used their savings to start a small business in the county town.

Gu Yitong grew up in an environment that was neither affluent nor impoverished.

Her background was ordinary. Her parents gave her no advantages other than good looks. But precisely because of this, she suffered many unfair rumors during her school days due to her overly developed body.

Therefore, whether it was burying herself in her studies to get into a prestigious university or entering a famous company after graduation based on her own abilities, she relied entirely on her own efforts and the obsession to succeed.

It was at that time that she met Gu Mòmo's biological mother.

The middle-aged woman sat in the same office as her. Despite having over ten years of work experience, she had never been promoted. Yet, she still diligently performed her duties and took great care of Gu Yitong as a newcomer.

Although the young Gu Yitong was spirited, having long known the dangers of people since childhood, she understood that the workplace was not a game. Even so, this sincere senior earned her respect and admiration.

Mature, stable, and full of feminine charm, the older woman inevitably became a role model for the younger Gu Yitong.

Since then, the senior would often treat her to meals. Sometimes, after work, she would invite her for a drink. On weekends, she would ask her out for meals and shopping, and sometimes bring her home to visit and see her daughter, who was about to start elementary school.

But for some reason, despite Gu Yitong visiting her senior's home more and more frequently, she never once met the senior's husband. Even when asked, the senior would simply shake her head and brush it off with, "He's very busy with work."

Two years later, on an ordinary Monday, Gu Yitong went to work as usual but didn't see the senior, who was always the first to arrive at her desk.

She was puzzled and sent a message, but never received a reply.

And since then, she never saw the senior again.

Some said the senior eloped with a toy boy. Some said the senior couldn't tolerate her husband's domestic violence. Others claimed the senior's leaving home was staged and that she had actually been murdered.

In short, there were all sorts of rumors. Even Gu Yitong, who thought she knew the senior well, didn't know which answer to believe.

Two more months passed. On a dark, rainy night, Gu Yitong was returning home from work as usual and found a soaking wet little girl leaning against the security door outside her apartment.

The girl clutched a note, and the address written on it was her home address.

Gu Yitong recognized the handwriting clearly.

It was the senior's handwriting.

One line of address. No request, no message, not even a greeting.

But ironically, at that moment, Gu Yitong suddenly realized that the senior's understanding of her seemed to be far greater than her understanding of the senior.

So, from that day on, Gu Mòmo became her daughter.

As for Gu Mòmo's "biological father," Gu Yitong had never interacted with him, or even seen his face, so she naturally didn't care about him.

Until a year ago, during the crucial summer vacation before Gu Mòmo's final year of high school, she received a phone call while driving Gu Mòmo to an advanced math tutoring class.

Gu Mòmo's father had committed suicide in prison.

As for why he was imprisoned, and why he committed suicide? She didn't know and didn't ask. She simply relayed the news calmly to Gu Mòmo, who was sitting in the passenger seat memorizing vocabulary on her phone.

She remembered clearly that Gu Mòmo merely paused for a moment after hearing the news.

Then, she took out a handkerchief from her pocket, wiped the tears that rolled down her face, picked up her phone again, and resumed memorizing words.

"In short…"

Gu Yitong paused suddenly at the end of her story, then looked up at Chuck's expression before summarizing.

"Mòmo is a very strong and kind child, but she had bad luck. Her biological parents loved themselves more than they loved her."

Chuck did not reply, only remaining silent for a long time.

It wasn't until the morning sun pierced through the cracks in the stone wall and shone on his shoulder that Chuck finally slowly stood up. To Gu Yitong's stunned gaze, he walked up to her.

Then, he reached out, and as the beautiful mature woman's expression slowly turned shy, he gently caressed her soft cheek.

"Mòmo had bad luck, but also good luck, because she met you. Compared to that woman, you are more qualified to be her mother."

"…"

Gu Yitong gently bit her lower lip. Her breathing suddenly became rapid, and her eyes instantly grew moist.

She hadn't even considered that such a short sentence could have such a devastating impact on her.

But just as tears were about to fall from the corner of her eyes, Chuck's fingers exerted pressure again, tilting up her slender neck and pale chin.

"Don't cry. Look at me."

"Do you remember what your first answer was yesterday when I asked you what I should be called?"

Hearing Chuck's question, Gu Yitong looked at him blankly, then quickly retrieved the corresponding answer from her memory. Her face grew even redder. She slightly opened her rosy lips and answered softly and shyly.

"…Husband?"

Chuck nodded in satisfaction.

"In the future, when you don't have the collar around your neck, call me that."

"From now on, I will be with you to take care of Mòmo. And I will take care of you, too."

After saying this, he lightly patted Gu Yitong's warm shoulder.

"Turn around and stick your butt out."

In this instant, Gu Yitong's breathing and heartbeat simultaneously reached an unprecedented peak. Peach-shaped hearts appeared in her pupils again.

But this time, it wasn't an expression of surrender to lust, but an affectionate look tinged with sorrow and relief.

Once, the man she so hated had now truly become the only mountain she could rely on.

And also the Master she willingly submitted to.

She softly murmured, "M-hm," and then, truly like an obedient wife, she slowly turned around. She knelt on the tree stump beneath her with her pale knees, presenting her luscious butt, encased in the floral dress and radiating a potent mature feminine scent, toward Chuck.

A string of light panels appeared before him again.
