The next day, What Damian did caused quite a commotion especially since Draco is hanging from the ceiling outside the Slytherin common room with some students unconscious. The prefects who are patrolling caught the sight and helped them. But none of them are willing to reveal what exactly happened.
They can't say, a bunch of 5th to 7th year students ganged on a first year along with some students from other years only to lose miserably and ended in a disgraceful state like this. So they gritted their teeth and only said they fought among themselves to see who is stronger and it became like this.
And the gazes they received from the professors made them burn in shame. Not even willing to share the opponent who defeated them into such state. They became laughing stock now. But more than that, they are afraid now. Afriad of a first year who defeated nearly 20 of them.
Meanwhile Damian's name echoed through Hogwarts. Rumours spread quickly how the slutherin students who are in infirmary now actually insulted him and tried gang up only to end up defeated into this state. Damian suspected someone is intentionally spreading the rumours and he is right.
Gemma Fawley gave up her prefect position and Evelyn Rosier took charge in her place. Most likely she is the one who spread those rumours causing a blow to Gemma's reputation and force her to resign from the prefect position. So this is what cunning means. That Evelyn Rosier sure is cunning and scheming. Maybe also a genius to use a small fight like this which will eventually be forgotten and made it into a scheme to drive out Gemma off her place.
And Damian is displeased too, they used him for their scheme. Damian continued his work though, he has more important things to do and more importantly, he got some rearads for defeating them last night.

The class system is very simple one. Just like classes in games, he can choose or unlock classes after meeting certain requirements. For example, the skill : Intermediate Heal allowed him to unlock the healer class and get two skills.

And became he can use mana, the class wizard is unlocked. There are many branches of this class. Especially when combined with the healer class can give the light mage class after he level up those skills to certain extent. But Damian didn't plan to get light mage yet. First he needs to solve his problem. For that, he needs to work hard.
But purification sure is useful. Not only because it can cure some negative status effects like poison and others but also because he can use it to purify his intent. To upgrade a class one just needs to upgrade all their skills upto the requirement of that upgrade. For example healer can become priest or cleric or even light mage if conditions are met.
Now with purification he can counter his obscurus effects little by little. By casting it on himself he can stop the irritability his obscurus is giving him. A good solution for him. Damian is okay with all this, but his frown definitely isn't relaxing. All of these may stop his symptoms at bay for sometime but the problem lies with his obscurus.
He needs to find the room of requirement so he can use whatever there is to cure himself. But there is one class that he can unlock simply with the wizard class and a skill he obtained that is currently tormenting him.
Dark Mage.
It needs participation on dark arts or at least yo be inflicted with a dark curse. Damian didn't take that though. He will accept it after curing himself until then it'll be out on hold.
The wizard class gave him two skills too. One is the mana circuits to let mana flow and manipulate and the other is mana control which reduces the cost and loss of excess mana for spell. Damian accepted them all, a mana circuit is really engraved into his body.
Blue lines glowed on his body forming a circuit that he saw in some toys and electronics. It also has big dots whichay act like intersection points or what they called meridians or something in fantasy novels he read. They dimmed down slowly and steam appeared from his body as it completely engraved into him.
Damian felt a different sensation like he is connected to magic more naturally, he can feel the magic in his body. It's much easier to move than previously. And it also increased his mana regeneration moderately. With this he can cast more spells and with more power.
As Damian got ready and left for classes, unfortunately trouble always seems to find him. A group of students stopped him. He immediately took out his wand and got ready to act. But they didn't attack him instead said," Knight, we don't want to fight with you. Our leader Evelyn Rosier wants to have a word with you ".
Damian narrowed his eyes and said," why should I meet her? ", they frowned but didn't say anything. Just then a girl appeared from dark whole clapping. She looked at Damian with her grey eyes and said," you're truly someone who has guts unlike certain people, Knight. This is our first meeting each other. I'm Evelyn Rosier. I'm just here to propose a deal for you something you may like for example, information about the incident that happened before you received Hogwarts letter ".
Damian felt something in him is close to snapping when someone mentioned that, he held back the obscurus that is going to let loose. The moment that incident is mentioned something in him felt disturbed to the core. The obscurus is trying to take this opportunity to rampage. But how can Damian let it take advantage. He immediately activated both Occlumency and purification at the same time.
